      I've tried to submit suppression request, received the code and then something went wrong. I explained the error to ******* and she was not helpful and told me to send another request. I haven't heard back from anyone after that. Remove my information completely from your site.

      I am attempting to utilize the tools available on this site to retrieve my personal data, but after submitting my email address, I received an email notification stating that the data cannot be received because there is an existing account and I would need to be logged in to make the request. However, upon making an attempt to log into their site, I was told that my email and/or password was invalid. I then used the password reset tool, but it did not work either. So after all of that, their site provides a phone number to call "**************", However when I dial it, nothing happens. The number does not ring and after a few minutes, it disconnects.These people are corrupt.

      I was just recently made aware of a charge to my account by this company that had been a reoccurring charge for the last 16 months and when I called the company and explained to them what was going on and i had never used their services they filed the complaint as fraud and told me I would receive a refund for the last 12 months. After waiting 2 weeks I called the company back and they refused to issue a refund check and wouldn't send the money back to my account electronically because I had canceled the card that had been compromised, I even offered to give them a new card number they could use but they refused to do that as well. As of now my bank has recovered $29.95 and on 3/92023 we were able to dispute another charge of $29.95. that still leaves 14 more payments that this company refuses to refund that was taken fraudulently totaling $419.30

      Under normal circumstances, when a user activates an account with **********************, they must provide an electronic signature authorizing Intelius to charge their payment method, including for the automatic renewal of their membership. Our Billing Terms are conspicuously explained on our registration page and in our Terms of Use. Customers are sent a confirmation email upon signup. If a user completes their initial ********************** inquiry but does NOT enter their payment information, they will not be charged and no membership will be created.

      In the event of proclaimed fraud, Intelius requests the billed recipient contact us first to ensure the account in question is thoroughly investigated. When this claim can be justifiably substantiated, the account in question is disabled from further use, all memberships to be cancelled, and all charges to be returned to the payment option holder (up to 12 months due to system limitations).

      **** has made changes to their purchase return authorization process. We have tried to authorize a refund on Mr. ****** account. **** is not authorizing this refund because of a flag they have placed on his account. We are working with **** to ensure that ************** and his bank have visibility into this declined refund. However, if **** does not authorize the refund we will not be able to process it further.

      How was i supposed to be aware of their  procedures if i didn't sign up for it. Their terms and conditions weren't made aware to me when my card information was used by whom ever did this and if they are willing to reimburse me for twelve months they can send me a check for that amount to my address

      I have been trying to remove my personal information from intelius and related peopleconnect websites for the past month because of safety concerns. The suppression tool doesn't work, I am not getting a real response via email, and calling does nothing. Please remove my personal information from intelius and associated websites.       I am writing to request that my personal information be removed from intelius's database and to express my concern about the collection and distribution of personal data without consent. I request to intelius again to express my disappointment that my personal information is still appearing on intelius's website, despite my multiple requests for its removal by step on intelius website and sent email. I am a victim of theft of my information. I am concerned that the distribution of personal data without consent poses a risk to privacy and security. This information could be used for malicious purposes, such as identity theft, stalking, or harassment. I believe that individuals should have the right to control their personal information and decide how it is used and shared. I have reviewed intelius 's privacy policy and understand that intelius has an opt-out process for individuals who do not wish to have their personal information included in your database. Therefore, I am requesting that remove all of my personal information from intelius's database immediately.As a responsible company, I urge intelius to take immediate action and remove my information from their website.       The company Intelius and its affiliated/sister companies and parent company People Connect has compiled a dossier containing sensitive information such as my full address, full legal name, their website also states it possesses my telephone number and additional information which I have been unable to verify. The company offers to provide this information to anyone for a fee. In doing so this company is bringing unnecessary attention to me and making information about me that I actively work to keep private, publicly available. This negatively impacts my privacy and general well-being and feeling of safety knowing anyone such a potential 'doxxer (information leaker)', stalker or other 'unfriendly individual' could use to harm **** have made informal attempts to resolve the conflict:1. The company's parent site offers a way to 'manage'/'suppress' one's personal information using their 'suppression tool'. This tool however seems to want the user to establish an account of sorts and to agree to a privacy policy and terms and conditions which contain a arbitration agreement which does have an opt out and a mandatory class action wavier. In a sense this almost feels like extortion by requiring me to surrender my legal rights to protect myself in order to delist information which should be private by default.2. Called the company directly to express my concerns and attempt to resolve the issue, 'customer service' was not helpful and directed me back to the suppression tool saying it was the only option.3. Contacted the company's privacy contact as listed however the email bounced as the recipient server failed to accept my email.Unfortunately due to the unsatisfactory responses I have revived, I have found it necessary to involve the Better Business Bureau in the hopes it can provide assistance before I consider the involvement of additional parties or any other legal means available to me.

      Intelius refuses to honor my cancellation request. Ive now submitted multiple requests to cancel the subscription; I havent used the subscription since requesting the cancellation and still they continue to charge my account. Their website has changed when I log in and the option to cancel doesnt appear.

      Customers are able to cancel online from within their account, through our Customer Phone Support, or by sending an email to [email protected]. After a thorough investigation, we have determined that no cancellation attempts were made through any of these channels.  

      As a courtesy, we have cancelled all memberships and refunded ******************* account back to the payment option used to enroll, and no further charges will be incurred.       In the past I have opted out of having my name listed on the website of the data broker, Intelius.com. They removed my name but it is now back. Their opt out procedure is no longer in place and they are now asking those who wish to be removed to agree to their terms of service first. I am not a customer of ********************** and therefore do not want to agree to any of their terms. I just want my named removed once again from their listings.

      I've tried for several days to use the peopleconnect suppression tool to get rid of mine and my family's information. I've attempted to go to ***********************************************, scroll down that page of utter bs and find the "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" link. I "requested a copy of my data" and on the page I then licked "Right to opt out" and then "Do not share user data". I waited for 48 hours and nothing has changed.Get rid of mine and my family's information. Anything related to my contact info and the numbers *************.You're a trash company full of trash people.

      Intelius offers removal of personal data from their site but I've contacted them many times to remove my data for safety reasons and it remains online. I've gotten a few boilerplate responses saying they need more info to verify my identity. I provide that and the circle starts over again. Even if a report cannot be purchased, my data must be removed from the sites. (My name, age, locations and relative MAY be listed in Intelius site cache. ****** shows me the data is still live on the site.) See URLS listed in attached screenshots. They still have a few URL's to go on one of their related sites. They got in touch with me and I responded as such. But my email got an autoresponder email saying they would get to it in 10 days.
