      Ive been working with ******** to have my information removed from people finder websites. Intelius is making it impossible to have my information removed. Although ive explained already that another person data is merged with mine they are not giving me any other way to remove it since I cant confirm my identity when this information bwolgs to 2 dufferent people. Experian requested the removal and I also have requested the removal and they are refusing.

      We understand Ms. ******** concern regarding potential merged data. To ensure accuracy and protect unrelated individuals, we requested additional identifying details to confirm we were suppressing the correct record. This step is required when multiple identities may be involved.

      Based on the information provided in her BBB complaint, we were able to locate and validate Ms. ******** background report. We have now suppressed the report pursuant to her request and our Terms of Use.

      I have been in email conversation for over a week to remove my information from peopleconnect and nothing has been done. Im under the impression that they are refusing to remove it.

While we are unable to remove individual records from a report, we do provide the option to suppress the entire background report from our website.

      Based on the information provided in Ms. ****** complaint, we were able to locate and validate her report. As confirmed in our email correspondence sent on July 8, 2025, her background report was successfully suppressed in accordance with her request and our Terms of Use.

      This suppression has been applied across all people search websites operated by the PeopleConnect family of brands, including Intelius.com, ***************, ********************, and USSearch.com.

      I was not given access for advertised services to try it out for 5 days and for a small fee before committing to any memberships ongoing. However on the 3rd day, which is today I am unable to use services as I am redirected to a page displaying 2 offers for buying monthly services with a link directly below the offers that states No I do not want to use monthly services. When I opt out I not able to conduct full people search services for a personal report. I can search people but when I select a case file to review I keep getting redirected to purchase offers

      Intelius is a public records search service that provides access to publicly available data, including background reports and contact information. We appreciate the opportunity to address the customers concerns.

      Upon enrolling in our services, customers are guided through a registration process where they can review and select from various membership options. All material terms, including billing details and automatic renewal, are clearly disclosed before payment is submitted. Users must also check a box agreeing to these terms before being charged. Memberships can be canceled at any time by logging into the account, contacting phone support, or emailing our team.

      In this case, the customer enrolled in a ***** trial membership, which was scheduled to renew into a monthly membership. However, a renewal attempt was made after the 5th day, and the charge failed. As a result, trial access was interrupted and the customer was prompted to select a new membership. Additional charge attempts were also unsuccessful, which prevented access to full report features.

      We can confirm the account has since been canceled and no further charges will be applied. A confirmation email was sent to the customer.

      Since November of 2024, Intelius has been charging me monthly for a total of $212.75. I've not used their service, nor did I authorize these charges.

      I recently filed a report on ****************** and got a letter saying y'all want to post it but it involves some personal information I'm afraid would give predators more details about me. I'm really concerned about the number of texts, calls and emails I get a day that are trying to get me to click links and get my information. There is another business that is doxing me and requiring me to sign up and pay to remove or correct the information they are giving. It appears they do have my real email which is barely blurred but appears correct. I've had one email for over 20 years. I don't want anyone to have it and why I didn't list it here. This other company name is Intelius and they have my address and a bunch of names as aliases of me that are incorrect. They have a phone number and carrier listed as me that I've never had. This is a scam company created to make people pay them to correct the false information and removal of addresses. You have to click agree on several things in order to get in and then it asks you more questions and appears to be loading something on to my computer. I do not want my information and false information given out by them. I'm in fear for my life and barely leave my house since being doxed. This particular site appears to have last updated me on May 8th. That number and carrier is not mine. I don't have money to pay them nor do I want to sign up to be a member by force. Please help me remove my name and all aliases correct and the dozen plus incorrect, address, email, and all information about me from their website. *********************************************************** you very much for your help.

      Intelius continues to charge my credit card for services that I notified them at least 6 times in the past that I no longer need. I was told by them at least 6 times that the charges to my card will be discontinued but the charges keep showing up on my card. I haven't used their services in over a year

      Consistent with applicable laws, all material terms—including billing details and automatic renewal terms—are clearly disclosed before any payment is submitted. Each user must separately check a box agreeing to these terms, and a confirmation email is sent for all purchases.

      We reviewed our records and can confirm that we received an email from Mr. Blaney on June 26, 2025, requesting cancellation of his subscription. The following day, on June 27, 2025, Mr. Blaney contacted our customer service line, and our agent confirmed during that call that his account had been successfully canceled. There is no record of any prior cancellation requests—either by email or by phone—before this timeframe.

      As a courtesy, we have refunded $52.23 back to the payment method used during enrollment. Please allow 3–5 business days for the refund to reflect, depending on your financial institution. His membership is now fully canceled, and no further charges will be incurred.

      I have contacted Intelius to have MY DATA REMOVED. It is criminal that I had to research to find out WHO THE ACTUAL OWNER WAS OF *************************************************** is. The owner is Intelius. The form for removal of MY DATA on *************************************************** of course did not FUNCTION FOR REMOVAL. When I finally chatted with Intelius to have my info : *********************************************************************************************************************** THEY HAD THE ***** TO ASK FOR MY PHONE NUMBER. Telling me I had to prove that I am who I say I am. I AM HOWEVER A VICTIM OF ID THEFT to the tune of $60,000 and these despicable DATA brokers enhance ID theft. The problem with proving who you are with these data brokers is that MUCH of the info they SELL IS NOT CORRECT. They do however have my name and address correct. PHONE NUMBER IS WRONG and they have my husbands name and absolutely his wrong age. Why are they ENTITLED TO FORCE me to give more of my PERSONAL INFORMATION TO PROVE WHO I AM. They did have to prove that I wanted my info sold or posted or that MY PERSONAL INFO WAS ENTIRELY CORRECT. I WANT THE FOLLOWING REMOVED IMMEDIATELY from *************************************************** *********************************************************************************************************************** Intelius will remove your info from one site and place it up at another and HOLD IT ****** UNTIL YOU PROVE THEIR ERRONEOUS INFO TO BE CORRECT, which is impossible. They also send you emails where you have to click links. Who in their right mind would click a link in their email these days????? There is so much hacking and ID theft....But even if I were willing to click links, I still could not prove who I am with THEIR FALSE INFORMATION.
