I recently filed a report on ****************** and got a letter saying y'all want to post it but it involves some personal information I'm afraid would give predators more details about me. I'm really concerned about the number of texts, calls and emails I get a day that are trying to get me to click links and get my information. There is another business that is doxing me and requiring me to sign up and pay to remove or correct the information they are giving. It appears they do have my real email which is barely blurred but appears correct. I've had one email for over 20 years. I don't want anyone to have it and why I didn't list it here. This other company name is Intelius and they have my address and a bunch of names as aliases of me that are incorrect. They have a phone number and carrier listed as me that I've never had. This is a scam company created to make people pay them to correct the false information and removal of addresses. You have to click agree on several things in order to get in and then it asks you more questions and appears to be loading something on to my computer. I do not want my information and false information given out by them. I'm in fear for my life and barely leave my house since being doxed. This particular site appears to have last updated me on May 8th. That number and carrier is not mine. I don't have money to pay them nor do I want to sign up to be a member by force. This means the report has been removed from public view on Intelius.com and across all PeopleConnect-owned people search sites, including ***************, ********************, and USSearch.com.

Intelius continues to charge my credit card for services that I notified them at least 6 times in the past that I no longer need. I was told by them at least 6 times that the charges to my card will be discontinued but the charges keep showing up on my card. I haven't used their services in over a yearBusiness Response

Consistent with applicable laws, all material termsincluding billing details and automatic renewal termsare clearly disclosed before any payment is submitted. Each user must separately check a box agreeing to these terms, and a confirmation email is sent for all purchases.
We reviewed our records and can confirm that we received an email from Mr. ****** on June 26, 2025, requesting cancellation of his subscription. The following day, on June 27, 2025, Mr. ****** contacted our customer service line, and our agent confirmed during that call that his account had been successfully canceled. There is no record of any prior cancellation requestseither by email or by phonebefore this timeframe.
As a courtesy, we have refunded $52.23 back to the payment method used during enrollment. Please allow 35 business days for the refund to reflect, depending on your financial institution. His membership is now fully canceled, and no further charges will be incurred.

I have contacted Intelius to have MY DATA REMOVED. It is criminal that I had to research to find out WHO THE ACTUAL OWNER WAS OF *************************************************** is. The owner is Intelius. The form for removal of MY DATA on *************************************************** of course did not FUNCTION FOR REMOVAL. When I finally chatted with Intelius to have my info : *********************************************************************************************************************** THEY HAD THE ***** TO ASK FOR MY PHONE NUMBER. Telling me I had to prove that I am who I say I am. I AM HOWEVER A VICTIM OF ID THEFT to the tune of $60,000 and these despicable DATA brokers enhance ID theft. The problem with proving who you are with these data brokers is that MUCH of the info they SELL IS NOT CORRECT. They do however have my name and address correct. PHONE NUMBER IS WRONG and they have my husbands name and absolutely his wrong age. Why are they ENTITLED TO FORCE me to give more of my PERSONAL INFORMATION TO PROVE WHO I AM. They did have to prove that I wanted my info sold or posted or that MY PERSONAL INFO WAS ENTIRELY CORRECT. The consumer initially contacted our support team regarding a listing on our affiliate site, FastPeopleSearch. At that time, per our standard policy, they were directed to our opt-out tool to submit a removal request.
Based on the additional information provided in this complaint, we were able to successfully locate and remove the consumers public profile from both the Intelius website and our affiliate site, FastPeopleSearch.
If the consumer continues to see the record, we recommend they clear their browser cache and refresh the page, as some content may remain temporarily visible due to cached data.

Someone submitted a fraudulent change of address for a deceased individual to MY address. Now, Intelius is maintaining a record on their exploitative website for this individual, who never lived at my address, with my address. Because of this my mailbox is getting bombarded with daily soliciting mailings in this individual's name.************************************************************************************************************ I emailed **************************** to take this information down immediately, and I received a response from a predator-enabler short on reading comprehension named ****** demanding I provide information about my "relative". I replied they are to remove my address from their website immediately. The ****'s right to delete, also known as the right to erasure, allows California residents to request that businesses delete their personal information. Businesses must comply with these requests. Additionally, all the platforms owned and operated by PeopleConnect such as Intelius, TruthFinder, Instant Checkmate, USSearch, and Zabasearch do the same. Signed a subscription with a data removal service as they provide ongoing monitoring and updates to ensure our personal information remains removed. Optery was given limited power of attorney, therefore making them an authorized agent for the specific person identified. Based on observations, my mothers information has not been removed by PeopleConnect. ****** submitted a request for removal on Jun 09, 2025 however they have yet to acquiesce with the request which is a significant concern as our privacy is important to us. Please note there are multiple variations listed on PeopleConnnects platform pertaining to my mother. For the Better Business Bureaus reference, I have attached an image documenting the activity history from Optery along with a screenshot from each and every individual website displaying her information. Zabasearch (Intelius) displays identifying information about me publicly. I have requested on their website multiple times to remove this information. They have a whole system to suppress profiles. I keep filling it out. However, my information has not been removed. I keep getting hate mail sent to one of the addresses associated with this profile. Our registration page and our Terms of Use clearly outline the details of our billing terms. Customers also receive a confirmation email for all orders made on the site.
Upon review, we can confirm that Mr. ******* account has already been canceled, and the maximum eligible refunds were issued when he contacted our customer service department. Two months of servicetotaling $78.58were refunded as a courtesy. While the membership has been canceled, Mr. ****** will continue to have access to the service through the end of the current billing cycle, after which no further charges will be incurred.
We understand how easy it can be to miss recurring charges, which is why we are committed to providing transparency throughout the sign-up process. I am unable to remove my phone number and address from Intelius and all of the websites owned by themBusiness Response

We are writing in response to the consumer complaint filed by ******** ********, Complaint ID ********.
The information Intelius provides in reports is all publicly available information compiled from various public databases, government entities, commercial data providers, and other sources of public data. While we cannot remove specific records from a report, we do have the option to remove an entire background report from our site.
We were able to locate a background report, phone report, and address report and validate Ms. ********* request based on the information provided in their complaint. We will go ahead and suppress these reports pursuant to their request and our Terms.
This request to remove the background report from the Intelius website will be applied to all people search sites within the PeopleConnect family, including ***************, Intelius.com, ********************, and USSearch.com.
Please note that our efforts do not affect whether the information will be available from other sources, including third-party sources of the information. In addition, even if a background report is suppressed, the individuals name or related details may continue to appear in connection with certain features for example, on registered *** offender lists, as a possible relative or associate in other individuals' reports, or in phone or email lookup results.
