I have been getting harassing phone calls from a REMOVEDphone number. They refuse to identify their company stating that they need to speak to me about a "personal business matter" and then refuse to speak without me giving them personal data (SSN, birth date). My number is on the national do not call registry so I REMOVEDd how to find who is calling and Intelius was one of the companies that REMOVEDcited. So I signed up for the trial only to wait a couple days to get an email telling me that they were unable to find who the number belongs to. Of course there is no customer service number to speak to anyone. Yet another internet company who wants you to pay them for nothing. Customers have literally no way to validate that they even did anything. Just another give us your money for us to give you no product type of scam. This should be illegal!

While not being able to locate information for a phone number is rare, this can occur from time to time. We gather our information from numerous public sources. I used this service for a one time look up and had the understanding they were going to charge me $.95. Declined all of the additional add ons. They charged me $34.95 6 days later and have continued to do so each month. I finally caught these unauthorized deductions on our credit card bill. The original customer service number continued to be busy. Our credit card company gave us a different number to call. I called the second number and was on hold for 15 min (recording stated it was a 4 min wait time). I cannot get a hold of them to cancel. It says could cancel automated service but why would I even trust that when theyve been taking money without me even knowing!

Intelius.com is hosting my personal information without my permission. I requested to have my information removed from their site and they sent an e-mail response informing me that I would need to provide them with my personal information such as my telephone number to have my information removed. Refusal to remove my information from the site unless I use their services to remove that information is illegal. You must remove my information immediately. I'm trying to delete my data from this site, as is my right as a resident of REMOVED. Unfortunately, I am receiving an email response from Intelius stating that they do not have any information under that email address, although my profile is clearly visible here: REMOVEDSee also attached screenshot. This company should let me know what email address I need to verify in order to delete this information, per the California Consumer Privacy Act, but they have not done so. I request that Intelius deletes all of the information it has collected about me, whether directly from me, through a third party, or through a service provider. In mid June 2023 I used Intelius REMOVEDfor 2 items and paid the token fee.Intelius require that you become a member for a monthly fee and this can be canceled within 5 days. I canceled the monthly payment an since July. Intelius has billed me $ REMOVEDan amount much greater than listed on their web, 4 months at $ REMOVED. or $ REMOVEDI realized the this is a late request but at 86 I am greatful to my wife who asked what this monthly fee was for. When a user activates their account, they must provide an electronic signature authorizing Intelius to charge their payment method as described, including for the automatic renewal of their membership. Our Billing Terms are conspicuously explained on our registration page and in our Terms of Use. Customers are sent a confirmation email for any orders placed on the site.
Customers are able to cancel online from within their account, through our Customer Phone Support, or by sending an email to [email protected]. After a thorough investigation, we have determined that no cancellation attempts were made through any of these channels.
As a courtesy, we have cancelled all memberships and refunded REMOVEDaccount back to the payment option used to enroll, and no further charges will be incurred. I am requesting that Intelius.com remove all instances of my name, age, birthday, mailing address, email address, and phone number from Intelius.com, PeopleConnect Inc, Criminalrecords.com, Lookupanyone.com, Peoplelookup.com, US search, USSearch, USSsaecr.com, and PublicRecords.com and all your other online platforms immediately. Including my demographic information in People Connect and other online platforms you own violates Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission's Act, which prohibits unfair or deceptive practices, including the use or protection of consumers' personal information in a misleading or unfair manner. Your unethical business practice also violates State Consumer Protection Laws. The unauthorized use of my demographic information is unethical and showcases your greed and disrespect for individual privacy. This is my third attempt to have my personal information removed from websites owned by Intelius.

People Connect has my information listed within their databases without my consent. I contacted them yesterday and requested my information be removed. However, I searched myself with their fraudulent company today, and the same information that is NOT true is listed! I also called them and requested my information to be removed, as it is incorrect! At this point, this is the second step I am taking to get ALL of my information removed from EACH and EVERYONE one of the raggedy sites they operate! If this isn't successful, I am contacting the attorney general in their state. If they still refuse to remove it, I will get an attorney to REMOVEDthem. When I finish with this complaint, I'm filing a complaint with the REMOVEDinternet fraud division. I advise everyone who reads this to do the same.

Hello, My family has been attempting to remove our personal information from your host of websites using the suppression tool, but when searching for the information, it doesnt pull it up via the tool. Only on the website itself.
