      I requested to cancel my subscription last month (March). I was charged $24.86 on my account today and should not have been as I had already requested to cancel.

      When a user activates their account, they must provide an electronic signature authorizing Intelius to charge their payment method as described, including for the automatic renewal of their membership. Our Billing Terms are conspicuously explained on our registration page and in our Terms of Use. Customers are sent a confirmation email for any orders placed on the site.

      Customers are able to cancel online from within their account, through our Customer Phone Support, or by sending an email to [email protected]. After a thorough investigation, we have determined that no cancellation attempts were made through any of these channels prior to today when the subscription was canceled online by Ms. REMOVEDa courtesy, we have cancelled all memberships and refunded REMOVEDJudges account back to the payment option used to enroll, and no further charges will be incurred. Please do not hesitate to contact our customer service department at REMOVEDwith any further questions.       This is a complaint against PeopleConnect sites, specifically TruthFinder, InstantCheckmate, Intelius, and other platforms under their control. The complaint pertains to the unauthorized dissemination of personal information and the failure to comply with a request for data removal.Below is a list of key points and evidence for your review:1. I contacted PeopleConnect sites to request the removal of my personal data from their databases and platforms due to concerns regarding online privacy and data security. Despite repeated attempts to communicate with their customer support team, I have not received any confirmation or action regarding the removal of my data.2. The continued accessibility of my personal information on PeopleConnect sites poses a significant risk to my privacy and security, potentially leading to identity theft, harassment, and other forms of exploitation.3. The automated verification process for data removal encounters obstacles due to outdated contact information provided by PeopleConnect. Despite having access to one of the provided phone numbers, it is a landline incapable of receiving SMS verification codes, hindering my ability to complete the verification process effectively. This is the only way they let you verify your identity to remove results.I urge the Better Business Bureau to thoroughly investigate this matter and ensure that PeopleConnect adheres to privacy laws and regulations. Your intervention is crucial in protecting consumers' privacy rights.Thank you I have also attached a photo of my information on their website.

      Under normal circumstances, when a user activates an account with REMOVED, they must provide an electronic signature authorizing Intelius to charge their payment method, including for the automatic renewal of their membership. Our Billing Terms are conspicuously explained on our registration page and in our Terms of Use. Customers are sent a confirmation email upon signup. If a user completes their initial REMOVEDinquiry but does NOT enter their payment information, they will not be charged and no membership will be created.

      In the event of proclaimed fraud, Intelius requests the billed recipient contact us first to ensure the account in question is thoroughly investigated. When this claim can be justifiably substantiated, the account in question is disabled from further use, all memberships to be cancelled, and all charges to be returned to the payment option holder (up to 12 months due to system limitations).

      We have refunded all unauthorized REMOVEDto REMOVEDpayment option used to enroll, and no further charges will be incurred. Additionally, we have disabled the account to prevent any further access. Please do not hesitate to contact our customer service department at REMOVEDwith any further questions.       The email address registered
      The first 6 and last 4 numbers of the card used
      The Paypal email address or Paypal Transaction ID number

      I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service provided by Intelius regarding my subscription [REMOVED]. I was a subscriber for July 2021, relying on their background check reports for our non-profit organization. Unfortunately, I am currently experiencing an issue with accessing my reports despite being an active subscriber in 2021. This denial of access is greatly inconveniencing me and hindering my ability to access the needed reports. If I am unable to regain access to the account, I am expectant of a report to be sent to be via pdf.I have attempted to resolve this matter through contacting customer support and following troubleshooting steps, but to no avail. It is essential for me to regain access to my reports promptly to avoid further disruptions to my operations.I kindly request that you investigate this matter urgently and provide a resolution at the earliest convenience. This may involve restoring my access to the reports or providing alternative solutions to ensure uninterrupted service.

      According to our records, REMOVEDaccount has been disabled on August 14, 2021 due to a fraud claim.

      The charge for a month subscription was paid in July 2021. We paid for our services and canceled the subscription. When I called to enable the account once more, of course, paying any fee necessary I was told I was not able to though a subscription payment was processed for a month. I requested the records of all the background checks to be sent to me if I was not able to access my previous account and I was denied, again after paying for the service.

      Intelius is a public records search service. Our Terms of Use prohibit the use of the website for any business reason. This includes the collection of data for any purpose other than personal use. 

      Furthermore, as previously stated, we can confirm that this membership was promptly cancelled, refunded, and disabled as of August 11, 2021 due to a fraudulent flag associated with REMOVEDfinancial institution. Unfortunately, as a result of this fraudulent flag, accessing or reactivating this account is not possible. It is also not possible to retrieve any reports that were queried during the account's active period.

      I was not refunded the subscription amount. I paid the subscription amount for July. I canceled the subscription the next month. This means because I paid for the service I should be able to receive the reports that were created as I had the subscription.
