I am requesting that Intelius.com remove all instances of my name, age, birthday, mailing address, email address, and phone number from Intelius.com, PeopleConnect Inc, Criminalrecords.com, Lookupanyone.com, Peoplelookup.com, US search, USSearch, USSsaecr.com, and PublicRecords.com and all your other online platforms immediately. Including my demographic information in People Connect and other online platforms you own violates Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission's Act, which prohibits unfair or deceptive practices, including the use or protection of consumers' personal information in a misleading or unfair manner. Your unethical business practice also violates State Consumer Protection Laws. The unauthorized use of my demographic information is unethical and showcases your greed and disrespect for individual privacy. People Connect has my information listed within their databases without my consent. I contacted them yesterday and requested my information be removed. However, I searched myself with their fraudulent company today, and the same information that is NOT true is listed! I also called them and requested my information to be removed, as it is incorrect! At this point, this is the second step I am taking to get ALL of my information removed from EACH and EVERYONE one of the raggedy sites they operate! If this isn't successful, I am contacting the attorney general in their state. If they still refuse to remove it, I will get an attorney to *** them. Hello, My family has been attempting to remove our personal information from your host of websites using the suppression tool, but when searching for the information, it doesnt pull it up via the tool. Only on the website itself. We have attempted using name variations, location variations, phone numbers, nothing will get the tool to pull up the information we are finding on your suite of sites.We are looking to get our PII removed from your databases. Hello, I was searching the website and wanting to download a report that supposedly had data. Upon signing up and paying for a membership fee and unlimited downloads, I received the message that there is no data available whatsoever. I feel betrayed. I am asking for a membership cancellation of the downloads and the membership effective immediately, a reimbursement and a confirmation this was cancelled. Based on company records, it is confirmed that ************** has enrolled in three different Intelius services: the Unlimited Email Reports Membership, the Unlimited Phone Reports Membership, and the Unlimited Person Reports Membership. On September 29, 2023, ************** made a request to cancel her Unlimited Phone Reports Membership and receive a refund of $4.99 (plus sales tax). This request was granted and confirmed through email.
To clarify, ************** currently has two active services that are billed on a recurring basis. The first is the Unlimited Email Reports Membership, which costs $4.99 per month (plus sales tax). The second is the Unlimited Person Reports Membership, which is priced at $24.86 per month (plus sales tax). The membership for Unlimited Email Reports has been cancelled and a refund of $5.39 has been submitted to her financial institution.

Dear BBB ************** broker has illegally collected and sold my PII (personal identifiable information) online. I hereby demand that they immediately remove my information. They have refused to answer my emails and their "removal" tool is a joke that will not work because the phone numbers are wrong and the email address is a different person with my name! I have requested and suppressed my personal information being sold by People Connect through their direct site and their subsidiaries such as Intelius, US search, etc. They still have yet to remove my data. I suppressed this information on 09/11/2023 and checked again on 09/20/2023, and I can still see that they are selling my information. But now, when I try to opt-out (again), I cannot even find my account to see the suppression status anymore (thank goodness I printed and saved the confirmation page)! So I emailed them (People Connect) about this issue with screenshots to show that they still have my information for sale, but INTELIUS customer care wrote back stating they can't find my information. Considering that the original screenshots provided were from that site, they had to have known and seen the screenshots and information. But they asked me for more personal information and screenshots. WHAT?!?! Why? When I can find myself and my info on my name alone? I emailed again today; please fix this. While an inaccurate report is rare, this can occur from time to time. We gather our information from numerous public sources. This information is then uploaded to our database. When you purchase a background report from Intelius, we guarantee that we will search every database available to us. However, because we simply display records as they are provided to us, we cannot guarantee the content of the records that may show up in a final report.
After further investigation, we have confirmed the account with Intelius was never established due to an unsuccessful payment. No monthly membership fees have been charged to the Visa card used.
If Ms. ****** believes she may have created an additional membership, we request all applicable information listed below:
The first and last name used on the account
The email address registered
The first 6 and last 4 numbers of the card used
The PayPal email address or PayPal Transaction ID number

After I tried to pay for the service of Intelius I got a charge from another company. See below. This was directed to me immediatley after I made the initial transaction with Intelius. My cred card company flag this as fraud and now they have to issue me a new card. Shame on these companies. The amount changed also from $24.86 to $28.95....TERRIBLE!
