To Whom It May ********* am writing to file a complaint against Facebook for their failure to recover my hacked account.My name is ***********************, and I have been a Facebook user for over 10 years. On Saturday, July 15th, 2023, I received an email from Facebook stating that my password had been changed. I immediately tried to log in to my account, but I was unsuccessful. I then tried to reset my password, but I was unable to do so because the hacker had changed my email address and phone number.I contacted Facebook customer service three times via email, but I have not received a response. I also contacted Facebook through Instagram, but I was unable to get help there either. I am a verified user on Instagram, and it allows verified users to have chats with Instagram.I am very concerned about my Facebook account. I have a lot of personal information on that account, including my contact information, photos, and business page information. I am also a member of several groups on Facebook, and I am active in those groups. I need access to my account in order to communicate with my friends and family.I am requesting your assistance in recovering my Facebook account. I have included screenshots of my Instagram chats with numerous people regarding my hacked Facebook accounts. I can also provide a copy of my driver's license as proof of identity, if needed.I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and help me recover my Facebook account. Complaint Reasoning 1. Unable to directly contact customer service for issues that a solution cannot be found using only online self service.2. Company does not have a recovery/ deletion process for consumers who may no longer have access to their old primary contact details.Facebook allows you to create profiles. If you lose your contact information and can no longer get into it. The options for recovery become almost impossible.There are many users of Facebook who have had accounts since 16. Over time as person grows and learns and gets into their professional careers to move ahead in life their may be things that is no longer needed to be seen on the internet.My concern in my personal accts is that I have information and post that do not reflect the person I am today and this can negatively impact my professional career as I progress in life later.Facebook has yet to provide a customer service contact line for acct total recovery without beating around the **** with their online self service. If you dont know your email or phone number youre basically out of luck. Iv attempted to contact emails for Facebook I found online, but they all seem to be invalid.This issue should be addressed because when it comes to verification they can do a face scan on all my profiles they will be able to see I am the same person in all profiles. Iv tried to even report the accts to get them taken down and Facebook has denied my reports stating that the accts have no violated community guidelines.Initial Complaint

I am trying to contact Facebook Meta team for over a month now ..my Instagram which I have had for more than 10 years has been suspended due to my linked Facebook account ..my ******************** has warning..I have kept both my accounts instagram and Facebook purely personal and never violated any guildlines ..still the block seems to be there ..I have applealed the decision however no response ..my account has my personal memories and I want it back ..instagram ..hence I. I was on the website Omegle.com and met someone they then told me to meet them on instagram so I added them and that was when they said that if I didnt pay them $500 USD that they would expose a 18+ video of me to all my friends and family, I than proceeded to send $120 through paypal and so they wanted the full amount so I kept stalling for time and started contacting for scammer help I have contacted 3 companies and the FBI 2 of the companies have asked for $1400 as a price to fight the scammer and one which was free I have since deleted and unfollowed all of the people on my account and blocked both of the account that were the same and reported the scammer on Instagram for many reasons such as scam, bullying/harassment and other reasons but they didnt take the account down once he found out I wasnt going to send him more money he started getting mad and said that he would start spreading it so Im afraid that the scammer sent the explicit video of me to people I may know.Initial Complaint

My Facebook was hacked on 8/21/2023, I was alerted on my phone of an attempt to change my password from someone located in **, which was initially stopped by my two factor identification setting. I attempted to change my password but the hacker got access to my account. I have tried several time to through the Facebook help portal to complete the recovery process on a computer and browser previously logged into my account but it does not work. I no longer have access to the email associated to my account because the ********************** deleted that email, and the hacker removed my phone number with the account. Despite doing the identify process, it just takes me in circles even though I used correct old passwords associated with my account. My dog just died from leukemia and I would really like to have access to my account and photos of my dog. Facebook has no hired human support to resolve tech issues like this. I spent hours trying to get this resolved but nothing on Facebook meta help site works and there is no one to talk with to help resolved this.Initial Complaint

META Charged me for Verification process twice on my apple ID ****************** for two different INSTAGRAM accounts. Right after I paid for the 30 days monthly subscription, both my accounts were suspended for " unusual activity" the account came back without the CHECK **** that I paid for. They do not refund me, AND one of my accounts is now completely disabled. their AI system confuses verification for " unusual activities " or violating terms. If you remove the check mar, you have to refund people immediately. I have sent multiple complaints and appeals however nobody is responding. I NEED MY MONEY BACK OR ********** THE ACCOUNTS YOUR SYSTEM TOOM DOWN. PLEASE @LUXEBYSOFI I AM A REGISTERED BUSINESS WITH AN ACTIVE LLC, EIN NUMBER, RESELLER PERMIT. The nature of this dispute is in regards to the fact that there is no consequence for run scam accounts on Facebook, ****** and pander to those who have no interest, and destroy the quality of social groups and chat rooms.Whenever I report these fake scam accounts, my report is always deemed that "This account does not appear to be in violation of our community standards".Since they repeatedly refuse to take action year after year, whenever a scammer gets into one of the group chats I'm in and tries sending spam and malicious links, I tell them word for word to "fuck off", as well as report the account.Turns out the last time I had this interaction with a scammer, Facebook decided I was "being a bully online", and restricted my account from engaging with others online.
