The core issue is Meta Platform's failure to honor their manufacturer's warranty, compounded by a prolonged and distressing customer support failure.?I purchased a new Meta Quest 3 from ****** on October 8, 2024. The device is covered by ****'s warranty. On June 1, 2025, I initiated a support case for minor issues, beginning on ******** and then moving to email. This started a nearly three-month ordeal that has involved approximately 100 email exchanges.?As instructed, I returned my in-warranty device and was sent a defective refurbished unit in its place. This replacement had significant hardware problems, including a malfunctioning volume button that made it unusable.?My attempts to resolve this were met with months of generic, templated responses, contradictory instructions, and a complete lack of progress. As I am autistic, the lack of clear communication and the indefinite nature of this process has caused significant undue stress and anxiety, which has negatively impacted my well-being.?On August 29th, 2025, after finally being told a new unit was a possible option, I sent a formal email providing a clear deadline and two requirements for resolution: a new, factory-sealed device and an advanced replacement. A Meta support agent responded by acknowledging the "emotional toll" and "distress" the situation had caused but rejected both of my requirements. They offered only the same failed "normal replacement" process and failed to provide an acceptable resolution by the deadline.Initial Complaint

On August 25, 2025, ********************* brand Instagram account (*************************************) was suddenly disabled without any prior warning or clear explanation. We received a notice stating:Our technology found your account, or activity on it, doesn't follow our rules. As a result, our technology took action. We disabled your account. You no longer have access. You cannot request another review of this decision.We believe we have fully complied with Instagrams Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and that the decision to disable our account was made in error.The account is the primary channel for our marketing campaigns, client outreach, and brand engagement. Its disabling has caused immediate disruption to our advertising efforts, financial losses, and damage to ********************* brand and company reputation. Additionally, our connected Threads account was also wrongfully disabled. We were able to restore it through the in-app appeal process, which confirms that these actions were likely mistakes by Instagrams automated system.We have attempted to appeal the Instagram account through standard in-app channels and via Meta Business Support but have not received a resolution. We request a review of the decision by a human moderator and reinstatement of our account. My Instagram account has been suspended for no reason despite not having violated any rules. I have spent many years building this account, and there is no way to contact ****. My instagram account @allimarbella was disabled on August 30, 2025. The messaged I received stated that this was because I "have another instagram account that doesn't follow the guidelines". However, this decision is incorrect and unfair.I personally follow Instagram's. Community Guidelines and terms and service. The other account in question, @fevrlessbubble belongs to my daughter, which I monitor as a parent that is why it is linked to my main account. Punishing and disabling my account because of another account's alleged violation is unreasonable and has caused me to loose years of personal memories, photos and connections I have tried to appeal this decision through the ********************** but I have not given a chance to properly explain the situation or receive clear response from Instagram. I have used the platform Instagram, which is owned by ****, for multiple years. Recently, Instagram suspended my account, claiming it violated their guidelines. The accusation held against me is false, and **** has made it extremely difficult to get in touch with their support team in regards to my issue. I have submitted my appeal and have received no follow-up from **** despite waiting patiently. My Instagram account, @unojazz, was suddenly disabled without warning. I submitted an appeal through the in-app system, but within minutes, my account was marked as permanently banned. After this, I was no longer able to access any working appeal route.I contacted ****/Instagram Support directly, but they responded that they cannot assist with personal accounts and referred me to a self-service appeals process. However, that process is inaccessible once an account is permanently banned.I have been denied a meaningful opportunity to appeal the decision. Hi, I'm having an issue with my daughters Instagram accounts and I don't know if you guys could help me or help get me in contact with the company. So on August 28, my daughter was trying to get into her Instagram accounts (She has 2) and it said that it was suspended for some reason and I was like what happened? what did you do wrong? and she said nothing mom I swear to God i didn't do anything, so she appealed one of the accounts and it asked for a selfie, so she submitted a selfie and in like a minute it said that they deactivated the account permanently because she looked under 13 (She's 16 and I, her mom knows what she's doing, because I have access to her account) and that I went against the community guidelines of child sexual exploitation and she was like what? I didn't do anything wrong nor did I even do anything close to that on that account or any account(and I'm monitoring her account and she didn't do anything even remotely close to that) so I don't know why they just permanently deactivated it for that reason when she didn't do anything, after that she was trying to get into her other Instagram account because they both got suspended on the same day for some reason. She got into her other account and it said it was suspended due to violating community guidelines on integrity of the account and it might be because her friends sometimes use her account to message us, her family and her friends if she's not able to send us a message and it asked for an ID so she provided my ID on my behalf as her mother and it said that they couldn't accept the photo ID for some reason, and to be honest she really wants/needs her accounts back (even the permanently deactivated one if it's possible) because that's the only way she can communicate with family and friends and We really need help getting it back as soon as possible and We don't know how or what to do. To whomever it may concern, I AM formally writing this to request a thorough review for my Instagram account back which has been disabled since June 5th, 2025 and now its showing signs that I will be permanently banned due to the long period of time Ive had to wait and Im really worried because I need this account. I have so many memories and pictures of family and friends that I have made over the 10+ years of having this exact Instagram account. My account is _randyay . I have all of my family and friends on this account and it was our source of communication and those memories and pictures I cannot get back as they are all on my Instagram account and I really need my account recovered. This account is very important to me and its not just some regular account. Ive met so many amazing people while having this account. Ive had this account for a long period of time and dont want to lose it. Ive reached out by sending numerous emails while getting no update back. I have also contacted **** support Via Facebook verified and talked to multiple ********* account is _randyay and I believe I was mistakenly suspended. On my part I did nothing intentionally to get suspended, as Ive been a loyal account holder and followed community guidelines If any actions on my part caused any concern I am more than willing to comply with all platform rules and provide necessary verification (which Ive already done) or additional information to resolve the issue. I was wrongly banned by ***** new ** flagging system, I appealed it and was immediately denied. Spent a month fighting it via Instagram support chats which you need to pay to access. They would tell me useless information and send me links that wouldnt even work. I finally got through and was told the ** disabled my account and I should be getting reinstated, and I should wait ***** hours. I waited for two weeks and never got anything, Im going on a month of waiting now. I recontacted the company via support chats only to be told the same thing. Then I asked to speak to a supervisor. Supervisor told me click this link (link wasnt even available) and I should be fine. Then proceeded to close the case. Its ridiculous how a multi million dollar company has incompetent staff, incompetent leadership. Ive repeatedly tried to get ahold of someone to no avail. Im a free ***** photographer and Im actively losing money. And clients, ****************.
