I requested the replacement of the faulty Oculus Quest 2 VR headset. I received a shipping label for the return of the unit. I followed the shipping instructions to the letter. The unit was received and signed for by **********,********** - META, **** *************, DOCK LOG,***********,L5N0C8. Upon further inquiry with META Store support, they say there is no record of receiving the unit. The attached documents will contradict their claim.Initial Complaint

I am filling out this BBB complaint against Meta "Facebook" for the following reason:A few months ago, I cannot sign into my one Facebook account. I do not know the email on the account AND I do not have access to the email either. I don't know the password to the account. The ******************** account doesn't populate within the Find My Account part of ********************. I do know the username. However, I cannot do anything with the username because a phone number or an email is required to reset the password. There is no phone number on the account. Please add the email of *********************** to the Facebook account so I can reset my password.I cannot make contact with Facebook because it's obvious that Facebook doesn't offer support, but only help pages.The Facebook username is *********************************************************Initial Complaint

Account ********. Billing account *************. The fraud transactions billed to my Ad Compaign account were never refunded. I reported my FB ads account had been hacked and FB disabled my account because of unauthorized access that billed me over $249.31 through a fraudulent New Campaign set. I had filed chargeback through PayPal which was handled in late 2022 but not all of that $249.31 was refunded.Initial Complaint

A hacker got into my email and then reset my Instagram password.My Instagram was either disables or deleted by hacker and I can't find any option to recover my account I did not violate any community standards. I have many years of memories including memories with multiple people very important to me who are now deceased and having all my memories gone is extremely upsetting. I do not have most of those memories saved anywhere else! I was hacked very maliciously in multiple ways causing major stress in my life, so why should the hacker have the power to also do this to me?? A hacker got into my email and then reset my Facebook password. Facebook disabled my account and gives no option for me to recover it. The help pages go in an endless circle. I did not violate any Facebook community standards. On last July 11,2022 I went a payment to my fiance through Messenger. However, the payment failed due to a deactivated account so within 7 days the money was supposed to be returned to me. Well, my bank account and my personal information was compromised during that period of time so I closed that bank account immediately. Now, it's been over a year now and I'm still waiting on my refund that Meta claims it was returned to a closed account. This, is impossible because everything in that old account was returned to me Even the funds that I disputed from all the hackers. I've made several attempts to reach out to **** and submitted several claims about this ongoing situation and nothing has been resolved yet. My business account on ******************** was hacked from two people from a foreign country, and they placed themselves as authorized users, and ran huge ads costing my so far $250 and they are trying to bill me another $229. I did chat with a representative who agreed, seeing that I only run ads for my businesses associated with the account, I only run them on those businesses pages, and only in English, and never for more that $35 at a time. The rep agreed with me that it was obvious that I had been hacked as the ads were foreign and not on my business pages. I was told that I would be contacted in three days for this to be resolved. I never hear from them and it's been weeks. I ask for updates and they say we are working on it but they are not, I am still out $250 and still being charged an additional $229. My case ID is case ID: ***************. What I am looking for is the $229 no longer on my bill, which has closed my ability to advertise, and to credit my Master card the $250 I have already been charged. Meta has blocked me from posting on all of my pages. I have complaint in that they shut down one of my pages BWE ***** Family Fan page now they are again harassing me by not allowing me to post on my own pages. I have not violated anything. I am sick and tired of this harassment.Initial Complaint

My Facebook profile was hacked back in May 2023. I reported it to Facebook/Meta numerous times but they refused to do anything to help. I decided to let it go and start a new profile and just move on. Any time Facebook suggested my old profile as someone I should send a friend request I sent another report advising my profile was hacked. Still nothing. Last week a co-worker who I was Facebook friends with on the hacked profile contacted me to ask more questions about the investment opportunities I posted about on my page. I was able to view the profile and found that this person is claiming that I am now a Certified Cryptocurrency Expert and trying to encourage my friends to invest their money with me. This person is trying to defraud people in my name and Facebook/**** REFUSES to take it seriously. They dont give you a chance to explain why youre reporting the profile aside from the fact that theyre posing as me. I am worried about the possible ramifications of this person defrauding people in my name. This could come back to impact me negatively if someone I know loses money to this fraudster. PLEASE help me get Facebook to shut this profile down before this person causes harm to someone I know or anyone for that matter. I dont want this person ruining my reputation or causing me legal challenges. Please help me shut this down before something bad happens!Initial Complaint

My account was hacked, and I have tried reaching out to Facebook and Meta many times. There is no number to call to speak to someone. They allowed an unauthorized user to access my account and change all of my information. I have also reached out to their business page and other social media accounts. This seems to be a common occurrence with this company with no resolution for any of their loyal customers. There does not seem to be any employees that deal with the consumers on how to regain access to their accounts and the support page is of little to no help. I would ideally like to be reached out to from someone on their support team to get my issue resolved. I had many important documents and information on my platform, and I would like a way to retrieve that information.
