I paid the company Meta, $600 for one of their products - a Meta Quest 3 VR headset from the website Amazon, on the Meta stores page, ram by ******** ordered the product on Dec 17, its now Dec 28 and the product still hasnt arrived. *** tried to contact Meta, but there is no option on any of their websites to speak to them reguardimg theor theft of my $600. $600+ is a substantial amount of money for me, it was supposed to be a Christmas gift for my sonI ended up having to **** some things to get the money to spend. Facebook suspended my facebook account on Dec. 14 and I reached out to them for the reason, I was asked to send my ID for them to conduct security checks on my account. I sent this to them and after authenticating my account and confirming my identity, I was sent a code to use as my password. This morning again, I got another e-mail from facebook that my account has again been suspended and disabled. I have been sending messages to facebook for them to fix this but have since received no response. I hereby request BBB to look into this matter and have my facebook account restored as quickly as possible. Thank you!Initial Complaint

There is a security breach with www.facebook.com/healthbarnusa involving an educational company involving photos and vidoes of young children. ************** business page, in existence since 2011, has been hacked/compromised in which Car Supper has taken full control of the account changing the name and removing the the founder/owner administrative privileges. This took place on 12/24/23 and a ticket was generated through Meta Pro Technical Support. It was closed without any guidance or correction. We are in contact a week later with a tech support person giving little assistance in resolving this matter, which is why we are filing a Better Business Complaint.Initial Complaint

On or about November 23, 2023, my Facebook account was hijacked. The phone number, password and email address was taken over. I was then told that control would be returned to me if I paid them $100. I DID NOT. After numerous, unsuccessful attempts to get Facebook to correct the problem, the hacker then started posting **** on the site. My fathers account was hacked. They changed his email and password. 3 hours after receiving the email asking if it was him, the wasnt me link was expired. The hacker has been contacting our family asking for payment for the account. The hacker today posted items for sale on his page in hopes of scamming his friends. We have tried the hack support and nothing works since his email was changed. This is ridiculous that we cannot get in contact with anyone at Facebook. This is a breach of personal information. On 11/17/23 Meta was finally able to be contacted by phone concerning all of the phones, smart devices, internet, and vehicle settings in a couple of vehicles being hacked since 9/22. Several police reports were made, but our parish doesnt have a true **************** with the equipment needed to do a proper investigation. We disconnected our wi-fi for 9 months. My son and I had just bought brand new $2000 phones on our **** plan and Insurance swapped each device out twice giving us 3 different phones that were immediately hacked. There were 3 iPhones, 2 in my house and 1 at a different location on my plan and another ******* phone at my house on a different plan; all hacked. My phone had someone in it on an e-sim, as I was using a paper sim. They were controlling it, loading apps, and determining if or what I could use on my own phone. ******* dialed in and saw them. I bought other straight talk and go phones even on fake names with fake email addresses and they were in before I could finish setting them up. They always download 47 apps in the background while I set up my new phones. I bought new iPhones for everyone else and had **** put them on a separate account. We changed sim cards, emails and phone numbers multiple times, but nothing has stopped them. They have charged multiple times on our debit cards but sent packages to us. They have stolen over $1600 out of 1 persons ATM, but the cop dropped the ball on that when he took leave and forgot to turn it over to another cop to pull tapes. They secured my original email and social media accounts and paid for it with my debit card.I think my new accounts link to those now???? So, Meta owns all of these Companies now; ******* Facebook, Yahoo, Instagram. On 11/17/23 the Meta representative said he could fix our problems with a $250 Apple Everything card. All 7 phones and Computers. The $250 would be credited back to my account afterwards. I purchased 1 from ********** he keyed it in then said he needed another 1.
