1 starHorrible, horrible customer service. Online with their "customer service" chat for over 2 hours. Changed the *** every 30 minutes who started over with the questions. Asked for escalation ***eatedly to no avail. Never talked with someone with a brain who could 1) read the chat; or 2) address the issues of a simple login. Run away. Stay away. Once you are in, it takes an act of god to switch to another provider. They should be charged by the attorney general for fraud since there is no customer service.GoDaddy.com LLC

1 starThey have a completely deceptive legal page that will guarantee that you stumble on misinformation and be unable to refund any service you bought after tricking you into deleting a service they won't restore after the fact. That's got to be illegal if it's just operating exactly as an ****************** with Indian Scam Call legal comprehension.GoDaddy.com LLC

1 starI called to see if I could transfer my commerce services from one domain to another . The *** talked me into agreeing to a refund and then he would attribute it to my other account. He then stated he could not refund after canceling the service. Spent hours on phone and text with ***s and they wont simply restore my service , they keep saying its not eligible for a refund. I wasnt seeking one. Now they charged me for a service that I do not have access to. They stole my money.GoDaddy.com LLC

1 starLet me tell you what GoDaddy did. My services were up for renewal, I called GoDaddy and negotiated at a cheaper rate for the same services I had. So I decided to go through ****** to pay for those services. Then two weeks later down the line Godaddy decides to charge me for the same services that I have negotiated at a cheaper rate with an old debit card that is no longer active with an old billing address that I no longer live at. When I found out about this, I decided to cancel my services with Godaddy, ******** refuse to do business with a company that has those type of business practices. Any business OK that will debit your account without permission. Dont do business with them. So I called Go Daddy and asked them to refund me the funds. They only did a partial refund. They refuse to refund the other half of the money. I asked Go Daddy how was it that you were able to charge a card that was no longer active and that my bank suspected a fraud, they proceeded to tell me that my Bank allowed that to happen. When I called my bank, they did a full thorough investigation and said that the card that Go Daddy invoiced me with hasnt been used since December 2024. My question is How go daddy was able to charge my account when I never gave them the information to my account nor my current billing address. Not only am I letting people know on this site what Go Daddy is doing, and I dont know how they are obtaining peoples information, and how they are able to crack people and get their information and bill them and charge their accounts without their permission. What Im going to do is find out how much higher this can go. Businesses should not be allowed to charge peoples accounts without their without their permission, especially if theyre using a card that is no longer in use. And somehow they got access to the current card Inever gave them the information to my current card. My bank is behind me and Im seeking legal advice.GoDaddy.com LLC

It Two days for the BBB to post my complaint and yes I wanna respond. I have filed a complaint with every single known consumer bureau and also Im filing a complaint with my state. This card was never expired. OK. This card was reported for a fraud, and I was issued a new card with a new expiration date. The fact that you charged me twice and then purchased my information from my bank, tells me a lot about your business practice. I want a full refund because I no longer have your services. Your product was removed from my profile. I want to make this publicly known. There has been too many complaints about Go Daddys business practices and people need to know about this. People need to know what type of business Go Daddy is. I wanna go on ******* make a series on this based on my interactions with Go Daddy, and the fact that my card was reported for fraud. And that you guys are paying banks to obtain your customers information without their permission . And the fact that youre obtaining my information after I had already paid you is suspect. And now I see that you reported that my issue was not resolved and you still want collect money on services that I dont have. Why in the world would I give you permission for access to my account to charge me twice for the same product. People need to know about this people need to be aware about Go Daddys practices. People need to know about Go Daddys products and how youre stealing from your customers even if it was in the terms in the conditions, I never gave you permission to charge me twice that I did not agree upon. You guys should not be allowed to do this. You guys should not be allowed to do this. I want a full refund. I want the full refund for the $143.Review fromChelsey R

1 starNeeded to change hosting companies so contacted godaddy to walk me through all of the changes to ensure I didnt mess anything up. They have a security feature that requires a code they send to your email for every record you change. Under the guide of the employee I changed the ***** and entered the code. After I changed the ***** my email stopped working because of the change so I couldnt get anymore codes. Now my website is down and in indefinite limbo because I dont have access to the email that stopped working after the website was no longer pointing to the old host. They were completely unwilling to help in any way and Im losing business and money every hour its down. Not to mention I cant contact my clients who have appointments this week. The lack of help is absolutely absurd.GoDaddy.com LLC

1 starGoDaddy failed to auto-renew my premium domain (**********) despite auto-renewal and Domain Ownership Protection being active. My bank confirmed they never attempted a charge, yet they falsely claimed it was declined. I received no warning emails, and they refused to provide proof of any failed attempt or sent notices.Instead of helping me reclaim the domain, they sold it to a third party while my dispute was ongoingand now its listed for resale at nearly $10,000. GoDaddy has repeatedly denied responsibility and is profiting from its own renewal failure.Their handling was negligent and misleading. I have filed complaints with *****, the Arizona Attorney General, and the ***.GoDaddy.com LLC

Thank you for your response, but Ive already made multiple attempts to resolve this directly with GoDaddyboth privately and through official channels. Unfortunately, GoDaddy refused to take accountability for the mishandling of my domain (**********), which was set to auto-renew with Domain Ownership Protection, and was still wrongfully released and resold without proper notice or evidence of a failed payment attempt.Ive already escalated this to the Arizona Attorney General, *****, the **** and submitted a full timeline of documentation to support my case.If GoDaddy is genuinely interested in resolving this, I welcome a written public response that addresses the facts directlynot more vague outreach attempts.Transparency and fairnessnot PR damage controlare what customers deserve.Review fromMariah M

1 starI have been a customer with ******************** for over 3 years. They charged an unauthorized amount of almost $500 without my consent . When I noticed this charge I reached out to them to get a refund and they told me that they would make a one time exception since the refund policy time frame had expired but after weeks of not hearing anything or seeing the refund, I reached out to them and they proceeded to deny my refund request. They are money hungry liars and don't want the best for businesses and its truly sad because I've been working with them and paying them for years now. I definitely will be switching services and never recommending them again.GoDaddy.com LLC

1 starI've been with Godaddy for only a few months and their up selling really threw me for a loop because they just want more and more money. Finally I canceled my service and switched my domain name to a trustworthy source. They then charged me for my domain name and when I called (after being put in the * for an hour waiting for someone to answer) they said they would process a refund and they actually double-charged me. I called my bank the next morning and they said that they did not see any refunds even processing. So I called Godaddy again. This time no wait time but I've been sitting in * for almost an hour so far, still waiting for someone to answer my call. Ironically they could answer my phone calls in less then 5 minutes when they were getting hundreds and trying to get thousands of dollars out of me. To even refund that was nearly impossible because they used every excuse to keep my money and I had to be on the phone for 4 plus hours playing games with someone who refused a refund even though it was a day before I wouldn't be able to get my refund back. They still keep some of my money but I took the few hundred as a loss. Horrible customer service filled will nice people who seem to want to do well as the company itself just wants to s**** you over and take your money. I would give them zero stars if I could. Will never do business with them again and have been telling all my business owners friends to stay far away - as I was warned too late.GoDaddy.com LLC

1 starGreat when it works, but simply unacceptable tech support when it doesn't. Multiple accounts and businesses with this company for over ten years. Email on two of them simply stopped working. Tech support spends 15 minutes diagnosing and says they need tier two help.Dumps me back in the call queue and new tier 1 picks up after 5 mins and asks to verify all over. Repeat this process 2 more times before I ask for a supervisor who says that he has no notes on the account and asks to start all over. How does a publicly traded company have no accountability to a ticket system when their **** clearly dump the hot potato complex issues to the next person? How are managed by supervisors that don't know how to diagnose email issues? I hung up after 2 hours without working emails.Review fromCraig Y

1 starI have had nothing but bad experiences with GoDaddy from them making multiple charges without my authorization to receiving little to no help when contacting their Customer Support. Their prices are exorbitant compared to their competitors and every interaction leads to frustration and 2 hour wait times. They have no sense of urgency and they make it very difficult to remove any of their services. Most recently, I contacted them to transfer out my domains and their customer support chat box disappeared. When I went to their ************* there was no option for a chatbot, just a phone call which again, takes upwards of 2 hours. I am canceling all of my services with them and moving them over to another provider. As soon as I can get my outlook archives transferred, I will cancel the remainder of my services with them. I strongly do not recommend them and would advise current customers to switch away from ********************** as well.GoDaddy.com LLC
