Less than 1 star. Spent thousands to create a simple, small, website and there is no way to contact me. Try telling them their links are broken and they dont know what you are talking about. Try telling them that there is no way for anyone to email you, that all their contact information goes nowhere and if it goes somewhere, I cant access it. Then they send you a "code" that you have to give them so that they verify its you. Then they ask for it again. Then they ask you what your domain name is. Then they send you a screen shot of your website to verify its your site. Then they ask what the problem is again. Then they say the time has expired and you need to send them the new code. Then nothing. I called them, it took 45 minutes to get through. Finally someone answered, talked to me, she said she thought she knew who to get to help me, put me on hold. Apparently she muted me also. Someone else picked up saying, GoDaddy, can I help you? He kept talking and finally hung me up when he didnt hear me. Funny, shortly after, someone texted me. They are blatently ripping me off. In the meantime, customers are putting information in my website and its going nowhere. **************.

Don't use them, go to anyone else, I was a customer for 13 years. They don't send proper notifications and then try and charge you erroneous redemption fees of hundreds of dollars plus your renewal fees. ******** customer service will keep you on the phone for hours. Don't waste your time or money.

1 ************ customer service. I received an e-mail notice that the card I had on file for account renewal (after 5 years) was no longer good. Fine. I went online to update it, and the system would not accept the update. I contacted GoDaddy through the chat function. After over an hour of back and forth, I was told that it was finally resolved and that they had my new credit card info in their system, and all was fine. That was 2 weeks ago. Today I get another e-mail saying that the credit card on file for my account is *** longer valid. I again went to the chat function and sent screen shots from the previous chat saying everything had been resolved. The bot/person in today's chat wanted me to go through the whole process again, making me think this was all very fishy. I told them I thought this was a scam and that I was writing to the BBB. I told them to just let my account close and I'll get another service that actually pays attention to their customers. I am not the least bit surprised their overall rating is one star. As a museum/arts consultant I am in a position in which I am frequently asked about which web services I prefer, etc. I certainly know who NOT to recommend.

Godaddy.com sells services that are nonfunctional and then support kicks the can down the road until the refund policy expires. I didn't know that I was going to pay for a full year of a nonfunctional webstore until after 7 days. After that, I understood their scam and knew that I wasn't going to get assistance or my money back. Complete fraud and they are allowed to do this c*** What a freaking shame!I did file a report with the ************************. Everyone looking at this should do so. ****************************

Its surprising that GoDaddy has similar horrible customer service that ******** has and its also surprising that both of them can get away with bad service and no accounting or anyplace where there can be consumer complaint against them. Godaddy charged me on May 24 ***** for hosting services, they couldn't set up my email services properly and i tried getting their customer service help for days without any success. And each time a new customer service person woudl appear with totally new session and I had to start all over - they give me reason that its for privacy reason they don't have access to my prior requests for help. Also there is no phone one needs to chat with agents who never allow any opportunity to know who is overseeing their responses and its a frustrating experience. I decided to move my services - new hosts not only set up my services properly but were prompt to respond and followed up on original request. I then asked Godaddy for cancellation and refund and just like frustrating technical experience, getting refund has become a nightmare, each time some customer service person chats up and i have explain whole episode all over and they say refund is on its way, next time a new person says there was an error and pushes for store credits and when I insist on money back they make me wait and later come back saying some one will follow up - no follow *** happened for technical issue and no follow up in this case. I will ask my credit card company to chargeback but I really hope that people are aware of bad, really bad customer service of **********************, most likely common outsourced customer services by another nightmare hosting company ********. There are so many nice smaller hosting services to choose from.

6-5-25 They lied to me about the package I was purchasing and refused to credit my money back when discovered. They billed me for a hosting package for $1,600.00 that I did not and can not use. I called in to renew my domain names. Our IT person realized the mistake they made a couple of weeks later. I called thinking this would be an easy fix. Boy was I wrong. After months of phone conversations I pretty much talked to every department including there janitorial department. They basically said "Sorry, check has been cashed". They refuse to refund the money they stole from me and I am not sure where to go from here. I understand this is a common problem they have-bait and switch. The organization is terrible and needs to be sued and put to bed permanently. I'm looking forward to the day they do this to a law firm. Dan Terry

The domain hosting is functional. Their support is pretty terrible, and they won't make policy exceptions when the issues are their own mistakes. I'd also found out I was paying extra for services not being provided (they never set it up on their end) for years recently.

I am a small business owner that is looking to grow and expand, Unfortunately, I signed up to Godaddy and they almost caused me to lose my business. They make me waste so much time proving who I was, approved me, then when my customers purchased services, they closed my account down, no appeal no questions, just closed it and threatened to keep my funds from me for 3 months. I would never ever recommend Godaddy to any person who is starting their business.
