      This company has contacted me for 3 months to update payment information to renew a domain that I do not use. I made it clear I no longer wanted to used this domain so my information was not updated. This company managed to somehow bill my card without my permission and/or me physically updating my payment information online and then tell me I dont not qualify for a refund when I called to complain about the improper billing. I was told by one of their representatives they received my card information update through my bank which makes absolutely zero sense to me. After speaking with my bank I was told if I did not physically update the information myself I have a case for a lawsuit which I will definitely pursue because there is no way you are telling me you have the right as a company to locate any personal banking information of a customer that wasnt given to a company directly from the customer to make a transaction using the customers account.

      We are a tax exempt organization. Normally, taxes have been removed from our bill prior to purchase. In June 2025 we purchased hosting. The taxes were not removed and I contacted the email address that support told me to contact with all of the information to send to them. This company is not GoDaddy. It is a separate company from what they told me. I contacted support and sent another email in October 2025 since the charges were not credited. They keep insisting there is nothing they can do. I needed to purchase a domain and wanted to get this resolved. I spent another hour with phone support and another 2 and half hours on a text with support. They will not help me and keep telling me to email. So basically they are not taking any responsibility for something they charge. Even though I have sent proper documentation. I had to renew a domain through them. I also had to send another email to this email address. I'm pretty sure I will not receive a response. I'm i the process of moving all of our hosting, SSL and domains away from GoDaddy. Oh and another thing. We purchased their website security and that was a nightmare to set up with them. There is a wildcard certificate that is installed on the firewall and every couple of months it switches back to their single site SSL. When this happens, part of our website does not work until I go back in and upload our wildcard cert. We are done with GoDaddy. I'm in the process of looking for another provider. They used to be great, but within the last 5-7 years, they have really disappointed me.

      Signed up for a trial free service for website hosting and it was a bait and switch scam. I cancelled well before they were supposed to charge me anything. Their service never worked. They have already been fined by the *** for this kind of fraud

      Heres a strong, assertive, *aggressive-but-professional* review you can use:---**Terrible Experience Account Closed for No Reason**Im extremely disappointed and frustrated. My account was suddenly closed **without any explanation**, even after I uploaded **every single document** they asked for. I followed all the steps, provided all the required information, and still got shut out with zero communication or justification.This is completely unacceptable. The lack of transparency and customer support is shocking. If this is how they treat their usersclosing accounts without reason and ignoring submitted documentsthen I cant recommend this company to anyone. Fix your processes and start respecting your customers.---If you want it more aggressive, more formal, or more emotional, I can adjust it.

      I hate godaddy. I cannot access my domains on godaddy since Saturday, November 22, 2025. Today, it's Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Their service is awful. Some of their agents (guides) are really clueless. The platform itself is beyond awful. Despite entering the correct credentials, I get an error message that they are incorrect.After they allegedly cancelled the two-factor authentication in order to stop sending codes to an inactive phone that I wanted to change, it still asks for codes on my phone for verification purposes. No one is accountable for the issues on the platform and they blame my ISP which is BS because I don't experience any issues. I wish I could rate it 0.

      AWFUL!!! Left a refundable deposit and went to cancel 5 days later WELL within the time free after THEIR *** never called back. On the phone for nearly an HOUR and just kept on being told checking with other department of can be refunded etc etc. total aggressive upsell am calling me DAILY.

      Highly do not recommend. Your site will go down and you will go days without a website. **************** is non existent. Engineering tream-non existent. Careful with gimmicks. Highly suggest to go any where, but here. You are paying for a service that becomes non-existent. Hours on hold, chatting--as if we're friends. Meanwhile--no website hosting.They will breach your word press. They will provide you a new password and again, no working website.If you are current customer, monitor your site for visibility.

      I used GoDaddy to register a domain name for my new business. I paid, or should I say, I thought, I was paying for the domain registration and protection for a year, and they tacked on another $45 and change for **************** 365, and a marketing package I did not want nor order. I had my bank do a charge back for the two unauthorized add ons, but told the csr on the phone not to remove my domain name (since it's my business name), and regardless of what my instructions were, they removed my domain name, made it unavailable, and locked me out of my account. When I called customer service again twice, both times they hung up on me. So, now I have to figure out how to get another domain name for my new business, but it won't be a dot com name. This is another c*** company with shady business practices in order to make more money at the expense of their customers. I won't trust them with my website hosting for any amount of money now. I filed an *** complaint against them as well.

      My issue is similar to others. Automatic renewals with no notice that it was done. And then they say you have only 5 days from the renewal to request a refund.Terrible customer service. DO NOT USE **********************. If you already do, make sure you take off the auto renew feature. And to make matters worse they renew for 2 years not the usual one year. Complete scam artists.

      The sales and 'service' people are skilled in upselling and selling you items you don't need.I found out I was paying for 2 hosting plans and I only have one website. They sold me a separate SSL certificate and a safety package (firewall) when I already had a managed plan that included those. If you're going to consider using them educate yourself beforehand and be careful with them selling you things you don't need.
