1 starGoDaddy Conversations app is terrible. The customer service is even worse. My Conversations app will not let me make phone calls to most numbers. After hours on the phone, I still didnt have the problem resolved and was forced to hang up because who has 2 hours to sit on the phone with technical support? Since the issue could not be resolved, I decided to get a second phone and to port my phone number out to a cellular carrier. I am currently in number transfer purgatory. I dont have cell service on my new phone and Im using the Conversations app on WiFi. I am able to receive calls, but not able to dial most calls. When I call GoDaddy support, they refuse to help me stating that they cant access my phone line because the number has been ported out. I explained that its not that because I had the same issue prior to porting out my number and the same issue happens on my ******al cellular phone number with the app on my phone. The issue is with the app, not my phone number being ported. I have asked to speak with a supervisor twice now. The first ****** had me on hold forever and hour and then came back and said he couldnt hear me so he was disconnecting my call. I called back again and the second ****** hung up on me, called me back and hung up on me again. I tell them I will not get off the phone until the issue is resolved and then they hang up on me with some excuse. They told me the error code Im getting is because my number has been ported even though its a screen shot prior to the number being ported. They lie, gaslight and hang up! I cannot get this issue resolved. Im paying for a service I cant use and they refuse to fix. They are refusing to release my phone number so I can run my business. I am a sole prioritor and single mom. This is going to out me out of business. Its a serious matter.Review fromMary P

1 starThey claim I deleted my domain. Would have zero idea how to do that and would not have ordered a thousand dollars of promo items with my website address. They say someone else registered with them now owns it. Not helpful all. Actually rather like talking to a parrot rather then someone who wants to help.GoDaddy.com LLC

1 starWorst customer service I have ever had with a company. I have waited hours several days in a row. to speak with someone to resolve an issue. Save yourself hours of you time. DO NOT USE GODADDY FOR ANYTHING. I have wasted so many hours of my time. This should be criminal how this company is wasting customers valuable time.GoDaddy.com LLC

I was told I was getting issued a refund and I checked back a week later and apparently it was never put on file and they're refusing to refund anything even though I requested it within their "7 day" window. I was already underwhelmed before this which is why I had already moved my website to bluehost instead. They're ripping people off.GoDaddy.com LLC

1 starI had the absolute worse experience with customer service of ********************** today. I am very concerned with the genuine nature of their business. They misquoted me several times in our text chat and tried to hide several hidden charges. The customer service agent I was speaking with was very unethical. I need to use them for our domain website, but would be very weary about their charges and make sure you know exactly what you are paying for as they try to hide hidden fees.GoDaddy.com LLC

1 starI've been a Godaddy customer for a few years buying several goods and services for a number of my domains. Was charged a renewal for a full year on a web domain in November 2024 which I then cancelled the service a month later. They refuse to credit my account or offer any kind of compensation even though I prepaid service through November and we're currently in March. There is no one to speak to in the US since all their customer service is outsourced via virtual assistants outside the country. As of this message I have now been on the phone with them for over four hours combined and been lied to several times by their virtual assistants. So far I've been hung up on twice and I have in no way shape or form elevated my tone of voice or used a single curse word. I've been in the telemarketing industry for nearly two decades and their virtual assistants clearly perform techniques meant to wear you out and hang up. What's even worse is the beforementioned behavior is not just from the ground level reps but supervisors as well. 1 starThe most frustrating experiences of my life have been on the phone with GoDaddy. You spend an average of 45 mins to two hours on the phone with them every time you call in and do not get anywhere. Talk to heavy accent agents all over the world and get transferred all over just to have another agent ask you to upgrade to marketing services that you just forcefully signed up for 30 minutes prior. 1 starI recently had a frustrating experience with GoDaddy, where they charged me $232 without my authorization or a clear explanation. When I reached out to their customer support to request a refund, they refused, citing their strict no-refund policy.Their lack of flexibility and unwillingness to work with customers is disappointing. Many other hosting and domain providers offer better refund policies and customer service. If youre considering **********************, be very cautious about their automatic renewals and billing practices. I wouldnt recommend them based on this experience.GoDaddy.com LLC

1 starAs of today (03/19/25) I have seen the online ads from GoDaddy about a free smart terminal for business if you want to process with us. This is pretty clear right? I have scrolled through the website and they even has a comparison chart of CC processing next to their competitors like ****, ****** and so on. I have chatted with them for almost 1 hour and got all the information. Anyhow, when I asked for the free smart terminal, the person didn't have a clue and asked me to send her a screen shot, which I did. Then she said oh yeah, its a promotion and I forgot about it. Long story short, she had asked me to call tomorrow for setup since she is just an online chat platform. I called two people so far at GoDaddy and found our it's a scam about free terminal. They are even putting ads on social media about a free terminal and when you call them, they say the promotion has ended, or send us a screen shot or find some excuse. I am so shocked how they are getting away with it. The are a website builder and now promoting hard for CC processing. I am warning everyone, not to go with this company, they started something with scam, God knows what else they are gonna do. If the company is not honest about their work, then surely they will s**** you Sooner or later. This is not about any account. I called ******************** to start a new account for credit card processing. But Godaddy has misleading ads online saying we will provide you with a free credit card terminal if you start processing with us today. Once called, Godaddy gives run around and says this offer is not valid, or it only for customers who does X** amount of volume. This is false advertisement. I want all customers to know how your company is handling the business. Not to trust a company who start with false ads.
