1 starDO NOT USE! They auto renew without your consent and don't allow refunds. The setup is very confusing and the customer service is nonexistent.GoDaddy.com LLC

1 starLiterally had to cancel the service every time they charge. They are scammers and I had to eventually report my cc stolen to have them stop charging me. I don't even know how this is legal, they should be investigated and shut down.GoDaddy.com LLC

1 starI had yearly subscription with Go Daddy for my business website. The subscription ended on July 26th, 2025. My website was taking down because after July 26th, 2025 I did not make a payment on the renewal date. This ended the previous contract I had with them. I changed my billing to monthly payments and made a payment of $44.95 on August 5th, 2025. My payment dates should have been changed to the fifth of every month, but Go Daddy is has me owing another payment on August 26th, 2025. I spoke to a representative and a supervisor at Go Daddy, no resolution. The supervisor said I still owed for July, but my subscription was paid up until July 26, 2025. My website was blocked from access. It seems like Go Daddy wants me to pay for a website that wasn't accessible for approximately two weeks. They are charging me again on August 26th, ************************************************************* to pay approximately $95.00 for ************* My website did not populate when I did a ****** search. I told the representative I wasn't able to access my website. She investigated the issue and found that Go Daddy did not attach the domain to my website. So basically I paid them on August 5th, 2025 and my website wasn't active until today, August 11th, 2025, because Go Daddy did not attach the domain back to my website until today, August 11th, 2025. This is bad customer service when a company tries to get a customer to pay for a service that wasn't even available.GoDaddy.com LLC

1 star**************** is ridiculously poor. Took weeks to get resolution on an issue that they denied. Be careful of recurring charges. They will not refund or pro-rate. So be careful doing multi year renewals.GoDaddy.com LLC

1 starGoDaddy obfuscates simple tasks with endless, confusing upsell popups. They make it difficult to remove services you don't want or need. Their tech support tries to route to different GoDaddy paid plans even when you tell them explicitly that you don't want them. They mischaracterize the costs and everything is always much more expensive than what they say. Beware this company and their predatory practices.GoDaddy.com LLC

1 starI called to cancel my email service for one of my business because it was getting too expensive. The agent said they could remove some services I was not using and renew my service for 1 year instead of 3. I said, sure since it was much more cost effective than my current plan. They would refund me the $1400 I was charged the day before and charge me $207 for the 1 year renewal. Well that was on 5/28/2025. It is 8/8/2025 I have called them no less than 6 times and have been declined the $1400 refund even the every agent I've talked to said I should get it. The agents are not able to process the refund. It must be reviewed by a 3rd party who keeps denying it. I have 3 accounts with ******** and am looking for ways to move to a different provider.GoDaddy.com LLC

1 starI contacted customer service after buying the basic website plan. My website was not upgraded and go daddy continued to post ads on my website for its products. I contacted customer support and they said there would be a charge to remove ads from my website because I had bought the basic plan for a brand new website. I asked for a refund but support would not comply with this.GoDaddy.com LLC

1 starI made a mistaken purchase of the domain ******************************* on GoDaddy.com due to misleading pricing presentation. Initially, the checkout page showed a price of approximately $40,000 COP (~10 USD) for the domain registration and renewal, but further down the page, in smaller text, it indicated the domain was premium and included an additional $37,000,000 COP (~***** USD) charge.Due to the formatting of the number (with three trailing zeros), I misread it as a decimal amount, common in Colombian currency display. I attempted payment with two cards that were declined, still believing the amount was under $100 USD. When I finally succeeded using a MasterCard with a higher limit, I received a fraud alert from my bank. Thats when I realized the actual amount charged.I contacted GoDaddy immediately to request a cancellation, as the domain had not been delivered. However, they denied my request, citing a no refunds policy for Aftermarket domains, even though I reported the mistake within minutes and the transaction hadnt been fulfilled. This situation highlights a lack of clear total pricing, poor ********** and disregard for international customer protections. In ********, I would legally have the right to retract within 5 days. I respectfully request a refund or a cancellation of this accidental transaction.GoDaddy.com LLC

1 starGodaddy has been charging me twice a year (1 month apart) for the same website. I dont get anything extra by paying for it twice. I reached out to Godaddy support as soon as I realized, and theyre refusing to pay me back for half of the charges. Ill be moving all of my products over to Wix or ***********. They lost a loyal customer of 10 years and Ill be sure to let all of my friends and family know of their scammy practices. Would definitely not recommend their services.GoDaddy.com LLC
