      I purchased a domain on godaddy, along with email. I was up charged in my cart without being notified. Someone took the company name and idea within a month. I asked to change the website and was going to be charged even more for purchasing a new website instead of the introductory offer. I cancelled the email and website within a month and received absolutely none of my money back.

      Currently, the payment department is holding over 10,000$ of our company's money. The payment center processed the first payment, service was completed, and the final payment is now on hold for 4 months due to risk factors that are not given. The email states there is no conversation to be had about this. This is THEFT

      Worst customer service experience possible. Wasted 2 hours of my time, they didn't resolve the issue, and they were very unresponsive, very slow, didn't understand basic requests, they cancelled a subscription without my consent after I explicitly told them not to. Worst experience. I requested their information so I could file a complaint and they refused to acknowledge it 4 separate times. When I requested a supervisor it was ignored, when I started another ticket after and requested to speak to a supervisor they were clearly not even trying to understand what I was saying and took 10+ minutes to respond. Will never use them again and I HIGHLY encourage everyone to NOT USE GODADDY. I will never use them again. 1 star is generous.

      I have been a loyal customer since 2009 paying increasing fees until yesterday when i received a yearly renewal charge with an $80 increase for the same product. After an offer of a 3 year new website at a lower rate and a promise that all my website information would be transferred intact I decided to go ahead and do the 3 year new ********** my shock and surprise after 4 hours on your chat and speaking with an agent I found out all my website information was lost without any way to recover it. So I'm without website after 16 years and there is no accountability from ************************** can you trust Go Daddy if they are not accountable or by any means recover your website information from their servers. Worst experience ever!

      I gave them q-star and that is generous. Don't be surprised if you receive an order with an automatic renewal out of nowhere. Unresponsive customer service. This is high tech thievery.They renewed my website order 3 months ahead and then added 2 new order with automatic renewal. They will add an authorized order(s) to a legitimate authorized one. Beyond shady - - - Buyer Beware

      GoDaddy talked me into renewing our products for 3 years for all of my products with them. About 4 weeks later, I realized they had charged me for services I did not ask for and have never used. I moved our services to another provider because I was led to believe that I could get a refunds once all products were set us and running. When I asked for a refund, they said there were no refunds after 7 days. Which means they are keeping over $ ******** for products and services they never provided. This is wrong, it is stealing. Be aware. 10.8.2025

      I canceled my product and service with them, but they keep charging me. Read all of the reviews! The BBB should give them an F rating. Shame on you, GoDaddy. You're a big scam outlet.

      SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS BEWARE!!!!!! Very deceptive in "selling websites". Trick you into buying a domain thinking you get a website for a year or two depending on the package and you don't, you are only allowed "COMING SOON".

      Terrible customer service. I signed up for the marketing premium plan which comes with security for your site. My site has gone down at least 2 times in the past 4 months with security issues. The first time I called about 5-6 times, and EACH time they tell me that their "Team" is working on it and the problem will be resolved within 48 hours. Which it doesn't get resolved. This time, 2 months later I am working through their chat help, which has asked me my problem then has dropped out of the conversation 4 times so far. I'm on my 5th time. I am looking into trying to change my site to somewhere else which really ***** because I created in through go daddy. This site is a SCAM. Do not do it, there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

      I have been a GoDaddy customer since 2002 and had several websites with them. I have never had complaints with them until now. The current website with them I purchased in 2017 and have maintained since then. I changed my phone numbers and when I tried updating the 2sv, I was locked out and have been trying to recover the account since Aug 2025. I've submitted all documentation they have asked for, proof from Whois history when I registered the domain name and even the nameservers info, etc. Uploaded photo id several times, and the accountant who set up billing sent his own info. They keep giving me the "runaround" and being told I am not the registrant, but the domain has privacy protection thru Domains by Proxy. I have contacted them and no help. I have the customer, given my new phone # which they have sent verification codes to as well as email on file. They tell me one thing and when I reach out to them I get more runaround, GoDaddy guides will not give me any help, just mindless chatter in emails and on the phone. The domain/hosting account is paid until June 2026 and just because I wasn't able to change the phone # in time, I have supplied them with any/all verifications they have asked for, MULTIPLE times! I'm very dissatisfied with their customer service and have been told that the domain/hosting service paid for will be taken down and to get it back, I will have to "buy" what has already been paid for. I have no idea who to contact other than a guide and being put on hold endlessly for long periods of time. Please help, I need my already paid for service to be restored.
