Do not use this service if you expect to receive quality care. 1. they charge way too much 2. you can get the same services for free most other hosts 3. their customer support doesn't give enough help and are rude 4. they force you to keep a payment method on file 5. they make you pay for things like adding 'ioncube loader' to your Wordpress site, it's a FREE thing you can add to any of your Wordpress sites FOR FREE. GoDaddy tries to make you pay for your own server to have it. They want you to pay 200 a month for a private server. It's crazy. 6, They are not interested in resolving problems, they are interested in making problem so they can force you to pay for solutions. The dashboard is junk.

I suggest that those of us who are aging and not computer savvy beware of this company. I was upsold for products that I never was able to get working. Almost 500 dollars worth. The upsell pressure continued. I ended up just canceling the auto renewal for those products since they would not reimburse me. Would not even give my half back. I tried for longer than the four weeks to get things up and running. All I got was a stupid "Great things coming Soon" page. I did not even ask for that! They use to be a great company but now all they focus on is upsells.

I contacted godaddy to delete my old website. I had old web with them from a long time ago, and i wanted to create a new web with the same email address. Their servers didn't coordinate with my new host's providers. I had to replace old ones with new ones. Agents (Jazbel and V *******) were keeping me on chat bot offering businesses and promotions for 2 hours . Eventually, they just disconnected me without completingmy request.. ******** customer service. If I had an option 0 star, I'd give it.

It has been an absolutely horrendous experience dealing with GoDaddy and the tech support, in particular. We have added 2 emails to our account, they happily took the money and *crickets*. Both of the emails are stuck on 97% set-up and we have spent a tremendous amount of time dealing with the technical support to fix this issue. I personally contacted them 8 times with no result, my colleague - 5. It got so ridiculous that my colleague's husband got involved in trying to help as well with, *you guessed it*, NO RESULT. I am very frustrated by the incompetency of the technical support. It feels like we have been going around the circles updating DNS records, checking them, updating them ( for some reason) again and again, providing all the necessary information, staying COUNTLESS HOURS with them on the chat and the phone, providing our PIN and Customer number, checking back and it has lasted for over a month. It is absolutely no way on how you should be doing business and I am so disappointed that we have gotten involved with them and spent so much money with them

Go Daddy owes me money from a credit transaction that I processed from a customer. I filed a case and no one from Commerce has contacted me. I have spent hours on the phone and gotten the same response stating…someone from commerce WILL email you.
Terrible customer service and it appears potentially mismanagement.
So agonizing having to chase Go Daddy down for what is rightfully due to me.

First, GoDaddy doesn't offer any tech support. They say they are unable to make any changes on our accounts and "only you can make the changes you need". But they add GoDaddy Payments to our accounts without asking us or even telling us this product has been added. Their support articles haven't been updated but they updated their processes and their customer-facing web interface so the support articles no longer offer us any help because they are entirely outdated (inaccurate product names, screenshots that don't show what we actually see, etc). The regular tech team doesn't know that we have to physically call into a very specific, specialized team and THEY have the ability to access our accounts and THEY are the ONLY ONES who can close the "GoDaddy Payments", which is now called "Commerce and Marketing", but since they don't know that they keep referring us to the help center. After a full week and multiple hours of effort I FINALLY found the correct department to close down the non-consensual GoDaddy product, it's called Merchant HQ. BUT now I have to wait an additional 24 hours before I can come back to the GoDaddy account to try to close it. I imagine I'll find yet another GoDaddy-caused error that I have to fix before they'll allow me yet a 3rd 24 hour timeframe to pass to attempt to close my account. Where is my paycheck GoDaddy? If I'm doing all the work for you and spending my precious time resolving problems you've created for me, when do I get paid as a GoDaddy Tech Support person? (read our BBB complaint filed to see how GoDaddy locks us out of our accounts but continues to bill us and doesn't give us any functional way to regain access to our account, because.... "only you can make the changes you need"....)

They charged me three times for the same product. I have been asking for over a month for a refund and they have not done anything. The website builder is also so limited on what you can do, so I will be taking my business elsewhere. Subpar product and the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They literally stole my money!

We thank you for sharing your candid feedback.

On the date of the transactions in question, as with all service providers, GoDaddy had unexpected technical issues and worked quickly to resolve them and minimize any impact on our customers.

Our office has provided a refund of one of the duplicate orders but we need additional information from you before we are able to provide any additional refunds. Our office sent you an email on October 14, 2024. Please respond to that email for the next steps.

They took my money for a backorder service to try and recapture a domain name I lost from another host. Then the domain suddenly came up for sale. Guess where is was for sale? ON GO DADDY!!! Tried to close my account with them and got the runaround for SEVERAL HOURS. They told me I am the only one who can close the account, but their system will not let me -keeps getting an error. What kind of company does not have the ability to close an account on their OWN SYSTEM? Their customer service agents over and over were untrained, unresponsive, inattentive, and down right unempowered to make even the smallest changes.
