1 starI have been GODADDY customer for 15 years+ hosting my website and purchasing domain. Last month all of the sudden they raised the rate for hosting my website by 70%, when I call to find out what happen, the *** kept me 75 minutes on the phone going back and forth on holds supposedly to find a solution, after all that time he didn't find any and stated that because my website was on an old platform that they provided but now is obsolete, it will cost me more if I want to keep it. Note that over 15 years I been working on my website codes to keep higher on ******, so getting a new platform from go daddy would through all my work down the toilet. I asked to speak to a manager, but the *** (after make wait another 15 minutes) came back saying managers are all in a meeting, so I demand to have managers name, he refused, I insisted and he hang up on me.45 days earlier they sold me a SSL product to my website $200 that if I knew they would raise hosting 70% 45 days later I wouldn't spent those $200. They waited the refund policy time 30 days to then raised the rate of hosting, probably knowing that I would demand my money ******* in the process of moving all my products out of GODADDY and I recommend whoever read this do the same. They have no ethics of how business should be done and I feel I have being defrauded.

1 starVery difficult to work with even after many calls over the past 4 months. In my opinion just another big corporation with little concern as long as they get paid.

1 star**************** is obviously not a priority with GoDaddy. I've been a client for 20+ years and ran into email issues. was told three times (Three separate calls and over an hour on hold) that the issue was resolved, but it wasn'**** suggestion to anyone considering signing up with GoDaddy, to consider other options since they are not following through with what they promised as far as support.

1 starWell, I have been a godaddy customer for years. I started buying domains when they were 8.00 and renewed at 8.00 per year. Last year at this times I bought a domain and the second year it renewed for DOUBLE the price for a year. I was shocked. I spent 30 minutes asking support about this by text. They just kept saying I got " a deal" when I bought the domain and then it renewed for the next year at the regular price of *****.What a terrible business practice.Not happy. I want the domain...so I just have to deal with it.

1 starthese guys scam you for money and when you realize and want that refund,good ******* took me 5 calls of 2 hours each and each time you have to explain the whole scenario as you get a different agent,I wish I had never initiated signing up with them for web hosting,stay away!!

1 starThey absolutely ****. I would give them 1/4 of a star if I could. They are still drafting money from my account but I am completely locked out of my account. I called customer suport and was given multiple avenues for accessing my account- none of which worked. Then the sustomer service *** had the audacity to advise that I updrade from a basic account. Now why in the * would i upgrade when GoDaddy hasnt even rendered the basic service that I paid, I cannot get effective counsel from their so-call 'support,' AND they could not provide any reasoning as to why this was happening? Strait trash. The know they are trash and that is why they have bots leaving 5 star reviews on trustpilot, which is clearly not trustworthy.

1 starMy domain needed to be renewed. I went to GoDaddy site to renew for 5 years (I'm retiring in a few years) for $110. When I went to pay it automatically went to 9 years for $199. There was no way to renew for 5 years (even though it was one of the choices on their site). They said I could either accept the 9 years or cancel the registration and bid on the name. Very unethical, misleading and dishonest.

1 starI own *****************************. I strongly recommend not using this platform to grow your business. My business website was hacked 3 years ago, either by Go Daddy employees or an outside source. Regardless, I didn't know how to go about it since money was tight and business was failing due to the hack. I reached out to Go Daddy for help many times to repair my website and improve my clients ability to view it as well as message me and receive estimates, which all ceased during this time. November 2023 was when the extortion emails started coming from Go Daddy. Prior was just my clients emails, which were now being redirected to a made up account created by ********************** employees on purpose so I would not be able to see clients messaging me. Then clients started receiving fake invoices in my companys name, all false documents created by Go Daddy employees. Once I called GoDaddy they just told me to reset passwords blowing, not telling me they provide free hack service. After a year I took the necessary steps to protect myself online, I started getting bitcoin extortion emails detailed with offensive sexual language all the while opening up access to all my devices from their Pegasus hacking platform. When I contacted GoDaddy again with the recent attack towards my privacy, instead of helping with their free service, they took advantage of my vulnerability and concern for family and customers lives as an opportunity to up sale me and extort me for money several times. In doing so, creating several new domains under my companys name without my knowing, which is what caused so many problems on my end as the owner. Once I called billing department, two people on two occasions admitted their own staff had done all this. They fixed my site and rating on their platform, deleted false websites their employees created and reimbursed a small fraction of what I paid annually. We are now in litigation so that this does not happen to others

1 starI have been blocked out of my account since the 15th of last month and, and they terminated my account and are giving me till the 15th to transfer my domain, but i already have paid for 1 year of hosting; when i did try to transfer the domain, i was told by the new server , that they were locked. I was being ignored and cyber bullied by the people that i was paying. 403 errors, when i tried to login to my email ,which means refusal. these people are crooks.

Thank you for sharing your concerns. Regarding your domains, one is currently pending transfer to your new registrar, and they should be able to confirm once the transfer has been completed. The remaining domains are unlocked and ready for transfer; your new registrar will need to initiate the transfer request for these domains.
