I contacted the *************************** The site responded that my name is not in their records, I believe this is the biggest evidence of your fraud and deception in stealing money.. Note that I contacted customer service to inform me of the data that was sent to the unclaimed property website, and they did not inform me of anything except one message only. The problem is being resolved, and so far the problem has not been resolved, and I have not waived my right.?

GoDaddy charged me $**** to create a website for my published book. The subscription button for readers to sign up for my free eBook didn't function. When I lodged my complaint with GoDaddy, I had to spend about 20 hours on the phone being passed from person to person. GoDaddy ignored a scheduled appointment we had in which they were supposed to call me but did not. Their defense was that "I had already published my web site," which I had to do to ensure that the subscription button was working. After spending 2 hours on the phone with a GoDaddy technician, I was told I would be fully refunded within 3-5 business days. On the 4th business day, GoDaddy had a "specialist" call me to let me know that even though my web site did not function properly, they were not willing to refund me. In the meantime, I received an email from GoDaddy stating that "a functional subscription button was beyond their scope." I had to be refunded from my credit card company. Additionally, the Better Business Bureau was made aware of this entire situation and chose to still accredit them with the notorious BBB stamp, which can only mean that the BBB is for sale. Just because a business is accredited by the Better Business Bureau, it doesn't mean that you can trust that company to do right by you. It simply means that someone within that company paid off someone at the Better Business Bureau, who also told me that this problem was "beyond their scope." What convenient terminology to use with customers who trust in these businesses to do right by a customer, only to fail them miserably and label it as "outside of their scope." I'd think that when you have a division within your company called a "Website creation team," that you'd be able to fully create a functional web site that is capable of capturing email addresses in exchange for a free download. I no long trust GoDaddy or the Better Business Bureau. I am moving my existing domains to Namecheap. BUYER BEWARE!!

The review should allow zero stars. I transferred my domain from another host. It was a big mistake. everyday for 8 consecutive days GoDaddy told me it would be another 24 hours...today 2/15/25 they told me ***** more hours before issues with My site would get fixed. really bad customer service, really bad tech support. nobody there cares.

Godaddy charged me for an 2nd domain I was not aware of. Apparently I p***aid for 5 years, so they say. The domain I knowingly paid for is needed in order for me to use the ********* email. I explained to the cs *** the second domain makes zero sense and why would I even purchase that. He said someone logged into my account and bought it. I asked him to escalate it and he said they wont do anything about it since it was p***aid for over 2 years ago. Again, no reason I would have purchased the 2nd domain. The cs *** had a bad attitude and proceeded to mock me. As a business owner myself I would have fired him on the spot. This company is scamming like nobody's business! The greed of that sale has clearly made GoDaddy forget why they're in business. It's us the people who keep them in going. Even better, the price just keeps going up! I'm canceling all services! I hope others do the same. Stay far away from this company. There are other complained to choose from that will appreciate your business and give you a fair price. Purely disappointed in these large corporations and what they're allowed to get away with. And how they have an A rating on the BBB is beyond me. I'm sure they just toss the BBB some money to keep that rating up! Every corporation seems to be a sellout! It's a shame.

If i could give it negative star or zero. I will. Absolutely ridiculous how theyre customer service is blatantly acting so ignorant when i asked for a status update. I have been given a reference number for a refund and they told me that it will take no longer than a week to get it processed. its been over 2 weeks now and i have yet to see it. Theyre customer service is no use hiding behind - code validation which they never sent to my email or my phone which is by the way the same phone number they were texting me on. I had ask them to call me and they wouldnt. I have several products with them but will not be renewing. I will be reporting fraud to my bank.

We paid for a 5 year auto renewing phone 800 number. 4 years in they accidentally sell my number to someone else. Ive been wondering why my incoming calls have slowed down. We call and they essentially say how bad they feel for us but nothing they can do now but happily sell me a new number. When asked if they are going to compensate for me having to change my marketing materials and the vinyl on my van it was a quick No! I hate that companies like this have no integrity. They wont stand behind their work and fix mistakes because rhetoric customer means nothing.

We thank you for sharing your candid feedback. Our records show that on July 16, 2019, you purchased GoDaddys Smartline product for a five-year term via telephone transaction with our ************* Center. On July 16, 2024, per your account preferences, ********************** attempted to renew the Smartline product in good faith to honor agreements with you, however, our attempts were declined by your financial institution. On August 1, 2024, you, or an authorized user to your account, turned off Automatic Renewal for the product in question. While we understand and empathize with your frustration, the product failed billing and was removed from your account due to non-payment. Due to the time that has elapsed since its removal, GoDaddy is unable to complete a restore for the phone number in question. We welcome the opportunity to connect with you in the hopes of resolving any outstanding concerns and can be reached at ************************************************

Tried To renew for a 5 year plan they wouldn't do it. Tried to leave, but made it very difficult had us hostage for at least one day. Endless chats and bots! even on the phone *** couldn't help to renew. Automated phone and chat system treats the customer like a bot. They can't take any form of payments if not logged in. Changed payment system three months ago but Zero communication. Our domain expired No communication from them. They scare you into leaving in chat! Total chats exceeded 175 give or take. Still would not provide an exit code for leaving the platform. Next is the ************************. Thank you very much *** *****!

I have the ********* 365 plan through GoDaddy and will cancel as soon as possible. The GoDaddy ********* login is incompatible with shared files meaning , if someone shares a folder or file with you, you cannot access it while logged into your account, it does not get added to "Shared with me" files, and you cannot add a shortcut to your OneDrive. I opened a ticket with GoDaddy on December 23rd and heard on February 4th that there was "no issue and I needed to troubleshoot with the file owner". I work as technical support myself, so I understand how ******** works and how to share files. GoDaddy cannot support its own product integration due to their Login and has blamed that issue on me, the customer, paying for a service they can't fully provide. I'm done.

Charged me a higher price for my domain renewal. I tried to see why the fee stated ***** but the total came to *****. I clicked on fees and taxes and only a .16 cent fee was listed. It was not until AFTER i made the purchase that the receipt said it was for the protection plan, why is that not shown BEFORE making the purchase?

If I could, I would give GoDaddy zero stars. After ten years I received a renewal notice by email on Xmas Eve (at a rate that was much more than I paid when I signed up). I didnt need that domain name and called to cancel in early January. After I cancelled I was told that I could not get a refund because I did not cancel by December 27 (three days after the Xmas Eve renewal notice). At that point I said that if I cant get a refund then undo the cancellation. I was told that the cancellation cannot be undoneso I was charged $219.99 for NOTHING the ten years of service that I WAS NOT receiving. I was not told that I would not get a refund before I cancelled. After saying how ridiculous that was, I was told I could submit a form requesting a waiver and that I would get a response with 5-10 business days. I submitted the form January 7 and as of January 29 I still havent heard anything. This seems like a very disreputable way to do business. BUYER BEWARE!
