I received a text message from this site giving me a receipt of purchase & a USPS tracking number. Missing from the receipt of purchase: •origin of purchase not stated, no address, no phone number, no business number of the business •USPS tracking number does not work •[email protected] is the only contact information provided • expected delivery date was not given I have reached out twice to this business, the first time was to let them know the tracking number didn’t work. They said they were having issues & would fix it and sent me a new text. The tracking number still didn’t work. I reported the purchase to my credit card provider & they are reversing charges. Did a Google search for Labubu Monsters, Howowoh was the first website to pop up and their prices were slightly cheaper than POPMART (that should have been the first red flag, but i missed it). i purchased a whole set of Labubu on 6/20/25 and as of today, 7/31/25, i still have not received the items. According to the "17TRACK" tracking number (17TRACK was red flag #2 that i missed) it has been clearing customs for 4 days now. Also a week after purchasing the set of Labubu my bank called me and told me my debit card was compromised and they issued me a new one (red flag # 3). I was only scammed out of the $98.94 i paid for the Labubu, nothing more, thanks to my fast acting bank! When i was emailing Howowoh about my purchase they literally said in the response email that they wanted to reassure me that they were a legitimate company LOL! Red Flag #4 UGH! SIDE NOTE: I no longer trust Google, stay safe everyone!

I purchased 6 items that were advertised as 100% authentic PopMart Labubus. Shipping said it would take 7-14 business days, it took well over a month. In this time, I was in constant communication with kawaiiroom asking for the status of my shipment and asking if this was a scam - they said it was in transit and it was not a scam. Order was placed on June 24th, and order arrived on July 28th. The items received are knockoff counterfeit Labubu dolls, made in very poor quality. There are numerous youtube videos and blog posts about how to spot a fake Labubu, and mine met all of the qualifications for a fake. I have reached out to the company informing them that I received fake Labubu's and need a refund. I have not heard anything back.

I ordered my daughter a doll from this website. The doll was advertised as being a n authentic "Labubu," doll. After placing the order, I saw a post on Instagram suggesting that this website I had just ordered from could possibly be a scammer so I tried to cancel the order. This company ignored me for 3 days and when they finally responded they claimed that it was too late for me to cancel my order because it had already shipped. When my doll arrived it was absolutely fake and poorly made, within 24 hours the eyes had fallen right off. I sent video and still picture evidence to the company and demanded a refund. Instead, they sent me an email saying they would send a replacement doll. I responded to that by telling them I did not wish to have a replacement doll I would simply like a refund. I have not heard from them since.

Merchandise received is not authentic and is significantly misrepresented on retailer’s IG platform. The items were advertised as Labubu, but upon inspection, they are clearly Lafufu—unauthorized and counterfeit products. The following issues are glaring and deeply concerning: • No QR code present on the tag or packaging — a basic authenticity marker. • The pull tab on the box is defective and did not pull through as it should. • The ring accessory is significantly smaller than those found on genuine Labubu figures. • The eyes are the wrong color, and there is no glitter — a key design feature. • The teeth paint is misaligned, showing poor craftsmanship. • The arms do not close together, and both hands and feet are loose, further indicating poor build. • The ears point straight up rather than inward. • The head is wobbly and unstable.

Claimed they had authentic labubu/the monsters pop Mart figurines, and merchandise. I assumed they were a reseller of the real merchandise, purchased 12 blind boxes of the macaron set which came out to be $234.00usd rhrough the shop platform on their initial website, received a confirmation email and everything. waited 14 days nothing arrived, Contacted them at the email listed on their website and was assured that it was being sent out waited a whole month before realizing that the tracking number that they gave me was fake so I sent them an email contacting them, letting them know that I hadn’t received my order and over the course of two months, I stayed in contact with them and they kept assuring me that my order would be fulfilled. I had to put in a request through the shop app after waiting the first month because the shop platform makes you wait 30 days before you can even tell them that you haven’t received your purchase, after that report i got an email with a new tracking number that was real and i watched my phone everyday tacking those packages. I placed the order on May 22 of 2025 and the product came July 14 but was sent a fake product and the boxes were printed and for good fakes actually, but I realize that the boxes were different sizes and the way they shipped them out the boxes got beaten up really bad in transit. Yeah they sent them individually instead of in a sealed package I ordered 12 blind boxes and received them in the mail six at a time. Tried looking up the website i got them from again and realized the website got shut down im assuming from fraud and found the new website they made to continue scamming people which is the one listed above. Contacted them again demanding a refund and explained everything i did here with photos and they’re denying me a refund.

When the QR Code was scanned to check for authenticity, the website said it was not. I’be emailed 3 different email addresses found in their emails and on their website for the past few weeks, but have not received a reply. Counterfeit Product - Kawaii Room

A few weeks ago, I encountered this website, claiming to be selling 100% authentic Labubu’s, a set of 6 for $120. They make it seem like a sale, plus there are positive reviews saying they’re great. So I ordered an entire set of six. Upon arrival, I scanned the outer code and the inner individual box QR code, which took me to the website for the real toys. Upon opening the foil pouch which contains the toy, there was no QR code on the tag attached to the toy itself. I own some of the authentic versions of these already, and the real ones have a QR code that will take you to the manufacturer of the toy so that you know it’s authentic. I had emailed the company a couple weeks ago, asking where my shipment was, and asking if they’re authentic. They responded to me and claimed that they are 100% authentic. The only thing authentic about these are the boxes and that’s it. This toy is a very popular item right now and very sought after. I would hate to see anyone else fall victim to this scam.

Counterfeit Product - Labubu Counterfeit Scam

The scam began with an Instagram ad promoting collectible vinyl products under the name “Labubu,” featuring high-quality visuals, authentic-looking branding, and steep discounts (up to 50% off), alongside bundle offers like “buy two, get one free.” The ad linked to a website called LaboubooOfficial.com.co, which convincingly mimicked the legitimate Labubu brand — including identical logos, icons, and overall design — leading me to believe it was an official store. I placed an order for three complete blind box sets, but the shipment arrived with only two of the three items, and the received products were damaged and counterfeit. Adding to the suspicion, the website listed a return address of 31 Sutton's Lane, Piscataway, NJ, yet my billing records showed the transaction originating from 30 North Gould Street, Sheridan, WY — a mismatch that further supports the fraudulent nature of the operation. This entire experience has made it clear that the website and associated advertisement were part of a scam designed to mislead customers with illegitimate merchandise and false storefront claims.

Days later I got a notification that my order was transferred for delivery and I received the item days later. The merchandise came in torn and crushed boxes and with the kind of labubu on the outside. They sent me 2 of the same ones despite it being a “mystery box”. I sent them a message with pictures of the items and boxes and asked how to send them back for a refund. I have received no response. The scam originated from an Instagram advertisement promoting collectible products from what appeared to be an official retailer. The ad led me to a website called LaboubooOfficial.com.co, which closely mimicked the branding of the legitimate Labubu brand, including similar logos, icons, and professionally designed layouts. The site offered attractive bundle deals such as 50% off discounts and “buy two, get one free” promotions, which gave the impression of a legitimate sale event. Due to the convincing branding and official-looking marketing, I believed this was a trusted source. I proceeded with an order, only to receive damaged, counterfeit goods, and one item was missing entirely. It’s clear now that the site was posing as a legitimate business to deceive customers with fraudulent merchandise.

I placed an order through WalknWave Inc. (also known as Walk&Wave Inc.) for what was advertised as an official Labubu figure. The product listing clearly represented the item as authentic. However, when the item arrived, it was clearly counterfeit — based on low-quality materials, packaging discrepancies, and lack of branding typical of official Labubu figures. I contacted the company and returned the item using the prepaid return label they provided. I also filed a dispute with PayPal and uploaded full proof of return, including tracking that shows the item was delivered back to the seller. Despite this, the company did not issue a refund. They ignored the PayPal dispute for several weeks and only responded on the final day of the case window, which appears to be an intentional delay tactic. This reflects a pattern of deceptive and unethical behavior — selling counterfeit goods, stalling the refund process, and avoiding direct communication with customers. This is not just a poor customer experience — it appears to be a fraudulent business model based on: • Selling fake or counterfeit items under the pretense of authenticity, • Intentionally delaying responses to refund requests and disputes, • Ignoring all communication until forced by third-party platforms.

I placed an order with CultNeo on June 25, 2025, for a $447 Pop Mart Labubu figure set. Their website used official Pop Mart images and descriptions, giving the impression the products were authentic. Within minutes of placing my order, I suspected the items might be counterfeit and immediately attempted to cancel. My initial email to them bounced, and it took two days to find a working contact address. When I finally reached them, CultNeo refused my cancellation, claiming the order had already entered processing. They also cited a strict no-return policy for blind boxes. When the product arrived, I opened the boxes to verify authenticity. I own real Pop Mart figures and compared them side by side. The items from CultNeo were clearly counterfeit — with poor quality, inaccurate details, and packaging missing official QR verification codes. Only after I stated I would dispute the charge did CultNeo offer a return option. Given the deceptive listing, refusal to cancel, and counterfeit goods, I filed a formal dispute with my bank and documented everything. I am filing this complaint because I believe CultNeo is misleading consumers and selling counterfeit items using stolen brand imagery. I am requesting accountability and an investigation into their practices.

While visiting Chinatown with my child, we stopped by this store, which had Pokémon trading cards on display. We purchased 5 booster packs at $4.99+tax each, plus a Labubu doll. When we opened them at our hotel, we realized everything was fake Pokémon cards: - Very thin card stock - Misprints on the front and back - Missing holographic effects - All packs were resealed to look new - I showed the cards to our trusted local card shop, and they confirmed they were 100% counterfeit Pokémon cards. - The doll had two right hands and misprinted face paint How the Store Handled It: We returned the next day and politely asked for a refund for counterfeit merchandise. The woman behind the counter became defensive and pointed at a handwritten “No Refunds” sign. I explained that regardless of the policy, selling counterfeit goods is illegal and unethical. That when we purchased the goods we never assumed they were counterfeit. She claimed she couldn’t verify if the cards were real—which is false, as legitimate card retailers are required to authenticate products. The manager then got involved and became aggressive. He said: “This is America and everyone cheats.” When I pointed out that if I came to the store and made a purchase, both of us were engaging in a transaction of trust, where I was giving them my money in exchange for a valid product of equal value. He replied that that was my problem and that “You shouldn't trust anyone. . . All the stores in Chinatown sell fake stuff." When I mentioned I would have to report the store for not being willing to refund the purchase of the illegal goods they had sold me, he said "Go ahead, do it. File a complaint, write a review, report the store, NOBODY CARES.” Why This Matters: This store is knowingly scamming tourists, locals, and children. They are profiting from selling fake Pokémon cards, which is unfair, deceptive, and possibly illegal. Pokémon Company International should be aware that their brand is being used in fraudulent sales at this location. Stores like this damage consumer trust and hurt legitimate small businesses in the area that many of us would like to support.
