    When I cracked my phone camera lens I started the online process of my claim. The same day I received an email response asking for more details: a video that included the phone serial number and the damage. The next day I received my approval email with a barcode. The repair location was only a few miles from my home. At the repair shop I showed my email approval that they scanned. 30 minutes later my phone camera lens had been replaced and I did not pay anything.

    I have ************* and my phone is still covered under their warranty. As is the case with Z fold phones the crease became damaged due to time and use. I requested service and I was told and was charged $1. At the service location the employee told me it was possible to fix my phone. When I picked up the phone I was told all went well. Later I noticed that I was charged an additional $99 to fix my phone. When I picked up my phone I was not made aware of this charge. I've tried to dispute the charge with my credit card company but to no avail. I was not asked or made aware of the charge prior to being charged the additional $99. I've read my contract and have not found where I would be charged any additional amount but it is possible I have misread or not found that information.Thank you

    The service documentation shows specific prices for repairs, such as $29 for a cracked screen. When you bring the phone in with a cracked screen they then charge $99 because the phone was accidentally damaged. When I asked how else the screen would have cracked they did not know. Then I asked what I am supposed to say to get the $29 cracked screen replacement. They did not know. How else would the screen crack besides accidentally?So they put a fake replacement price of $29 when you purchase the warranty then charge everyone $99. It's still cheaper than full price screen replacement but this warranty scams you on the repair costs.
