1 starI purchased a sofa couch from Amazon for my daughters birthday. The delivery date was for July 6. Amazon ended up delivering early which was the 5 of July so I was super excited as her birthday was July 5. When I got home there was a generator in-front my door. My disappointment started here. I called Amazon and informed them of the problem.that they delivered the wrong item. I also said to them I wont be able to move the generator as its too heavy. The customer service representative sent me an email to print a label and to physically take the generator to a return agent. I called Amazon again the following day and told them I wasnt able to move the generator as it was too heavy and I dont have a vehicle for it to fit in. The customer service representative then sent me another email to create a return label for a pick up. I did this. They gave me a pick up date for July 11. I went to work over the weekend per usual and when I got home Sunday the generator was no longer there. So, naturally I called Amazon to ask if they had picked up the generator and to inquire about my refund for the sofa that I still to this day have not received. A representative proceeded to inform me that they had not picked up the generator. The generator sat outside my front door from July 5 until July 10. I made several calls to Amazon trying to get them to come pick up the generator. it is now missing and Amazon refuse to refund my money and even the supervisor was very rude. I have been shopping at Amazon for over 5 yrs and Ive never experienced this before! With that being said, Im very disappointed in Amazon. I am the one suffering from their negligence .. failure to send the correct package (a generator looks nothing like a couch doesnt even come in a similar box so howw), failure to pick up the package in a timely manner and failure to give me my money back. I am out of $400 and dont even have the couch that I ordered OR even the generator they mistakingly sent!Review fromLinda Y

1 starI purchaesd a Pergola through Amazon. When it was partly assembled, I found that the fastener holes were not aligning to enable connection of two parts. I contacted Amazon to send the replacement parts. They said that instead I needed to return the entire item. As it weighed about 100lbs, it could not be dropped off at the post office. They told me to use a courier and be sure to include a copy of the invoice inside the box and the shipping costs would be refunded. I did as instructed. The document enclosed incuded the amount paid and the tracking number. They received the item and refunded the cost excluding the shipping charges. After many emails and phone communications since late May, each time they asked for additional informatiom, they have now said they will not refund the shipping. I have provided them the verification of product delivery to Amazon which includes the same tracking number as on the document inside the box, a Credit Card Authorization from Purolator which also has the same trackig number noted, and a copy of my **** statement with my name/addres, and the line item of the amount paid. After each submission they ask for more information. Thier last request was a copy of a document from Purolator which noted the weight. I told them I was providing no more informatin as they already had plenty of proof. This has been ongoing since May. They have hinted that it was too late to provide a refund ( their *****, not mine), that the *** they could refund was $150 ( I paid $172.17), that if I provided the credit card statement they would see what they could do!!!! All so unacceptable.Review fromPamela M.

1 starDid not know I was being charged $4.99 a month for a "subscription " that I thought was a "try before you buy" and never bought anything from!! $4.99 a month for 16 months!!! Amazon "customer service" canceled the subscription AND my Amazon prime AND my Amazon music (paid $79 for in February for a year, zero refund of balance of that subscription) Multiple calls to resolve the prime and music, they did refund the music. Email stating they would refund 6 months of the subscription. Only issued one $4.99 credit. Another hour on the phone to be told they should not have offered 6 months but would honor it today.I'm still out $50 and Amazon basically told me "oh well, you should watch your account closer". Trust me. I will. And it will be quite easy as I won't be giving them nearly the business I used to.Review fromMona I

1 starI bought a smoker from the Amazon website- the item was from a third party seller but the assembly from " Amazon Home Services" was included in the price of the item. The assembly service was never provided. Amazon took no responsibility for the assembly, stating that "Amazon Home Services" is a third party (even though there is no phone number or address for this business). The item arrived as scheduled but the assembly never did. Frankly, the item is exceedingly heavy and needs 2 person assembly- I would not have bought the item had the assembly not been included. The technician did not arrive at the scheduled time for assembly nor at the rescheduled time for assembly. When I called customer service to remediate the issue the item suddenly became a "completed order"- though it was NOT assembled. When I called the second time to complain, the response I received was "order cancelled- no longer needed by customer". By this time I was furious as I did NOT cancel the order and did NOT receive the service. The customer service agent was not able to connect me to the seller nor give a phone number or address for the seller. Frankly, I wonder if this is even a legitimate business.I have been a loyal Amazon customer for many years and I realize that it is a giant company, but that is no excuse to treat customers poorly. Do better.Review fromKatherine B

1 starAmazon continually deliver my merchandise to an address 5 blocks per the management . And refuse to credit my account because I refuse to go with my ******. My building house Disable Seniors and it should be a law against this mistreatment. Not only is it a 5 block walk but Amazon HUB is upstairs in that building and packages are left on floor and open. Today customer service stated I will have to wait 10 days regarding a credit for not complying with Amazon and management of ************************************************* Y. I am a paying senior customer, this is elder abuseReview fromKathleen C

1 starBe careful buying the prime membership as a gift if you're gifting to someone in ******. It doesn't work properly and they won't refund you.Review fromJames M

1 starPretty great for a decade. **** clipping with packaging and meeting delivery dates for a few years. Now they just send things in envelopes and leave them in the pouring rain. And God forbid you leave a well reasoned bad review on anything. Automatically rejected with no explanation, no response whe you inquire how it possibly violated tos. Then blocked from submitting a new reviee on those products. Scam.Review fromAnthony M

1 starAmazon has lost their battle with 3rd party sellers. 2011 US Code Title 15 - Commerce and Trade Chapter 22 - TRADEMARKS ( **** - 1141n)Subchapter III - GENERAL PROVISIONS ( **** - 1129)Section **** - False designations of origin, false descriptions, and dilution forbidden Is a law that is continuously broken on their site. Sellers will make fake listings and sell items that do not match. Then stick you with the struggle of making it right again.Review fromPamela C

1 starAmazon is a horrible company. I have had horrible service and even had to pay to return something that Amazon didnt deliver the entire item ordered. I ordered a mailbox and Amazon only delivered half of it and said they could not send the rest because it wasnt a full order only partial. I had to take the useless part I did get to *** to return it because A,pmazon said they had no way to pick up the return. What they are a delivery service, so how can they not pick up a bad order when it is their fault. and I had to pay for packaging for the return because the box sent by Amazon fell apart. They would JOT reimburse me for packaging.I gave them another chance and ordered 3 items for my dog who is injured and needed these items. Amazon said I would get my order by today. They did NOT deliver my orders but said they did, and have no one you can actually speak with for help. Amazon is the worst company I have ever dealt with. It has actually cost me money for nothing but bad serviceReview fromJanis L

1 starI ordered a PS4 game for my grandson on May 20. Email stated delivery expected 5/31-6/3. Next email delivery date sooner than expected now 6/1. On 6/1 in the late afternoon I get an email saying the game would not be delivered until 7/11. I called customer service. The woman I spoke to (funny they never give their name!) told me I had ordered from the wrong company. So while on the phone I placed another order for the same game with a "customer service guarantee" his game would delivered no later than 7/5. Late afternoon on 7/5 I get yet another email saying 8/18. Lo and behold two days later I get an email saying delivery was estimated earlier than expected it would now be delivered 7/16. Well folks, it is 7/16. And late this afternoon I got another email. Yep you guessed it. Expected delivery is now 7/28. Another call to customer service. Was told there is another game listed on the website if I would like to place an order with another company. I asked if she could guarantee it would be delivered TODAY. I am leaving the order as is. I am curious no to see just how long it takes for this game to be delivered. Then everything even remotely connected to Amazon will be cancelled and/or thrown in the trash. I am done with them. Take my advice folk...ORDER FROM ************
