      When ordering Digital content, such as books, music, etc., it is not the best policy to use an email in which may not be under one's control. I was a student at an University, and to get student discounts, a Student email was needed. I ordered a few digital text books for classes, as well as one for general reading.Because the University I attended was over 10 years ago, the email for the University is no longer available. Therefore, all the digital material I had purchase under the school's email server is no longer available. As I had not purchased anything under the profile set up for the University, the Amazon help desk could not resolve this issue. Which means, I am out of the money spent for those digital copies of text books and one general reading book.When requested to have a Server Administrator to look to unlock the account, the Help Desk and the Supervisor informed me, a computer tech, that they could not do this type of request.I had worked at **** and I know the Server Admin would be able to unlock accounts as long as the server recognized the email, as that was my job at *** as Help Desk Level II. I was able to start the Log into the old account, and ********************** recognised the Email and Pwd, but could not access it as the Pass Code was sent to the University email account which is no longer active.So, as a warning and advice, make sure you can pass your account to another email before losing access to Digital Content paid for, but can no longer access.

      Extremely unhappy with Amazon. Placed an order for $68. It did not get delivered. When I checked tracking, it stated that "An address redirection agreement is in place between the customer and the carrier. Package will be forwarded to the requested address." Not understanding what this was because I did not have any such agreement, I chatted with customer service only to find out that the "carrier had it routed to a different address." I was assured a correction was made, and that I would receive my package. The next day, I checked tracking to find "package is held a carrier for pick up by customer." Spent 2 hours between chat and on the phone to find out what happened. Amazon could not tell me where the package was (I called my post office and they did not have it). When I demanded a refund, it took me over an hour on the phone with customer service telling me "our system will not allow for a refund until after the delivery date has passed." So, there is no longer a delivery date on tracking because tracking states customer has to pick up the package, but ********************** can't tell me where the package is located. After telling Amazon I was going to cancel my prime membership, suddenly they were able to issue me a refund immediately. I will go to other stores for my items.

      Absolutely horrible customer service. Made me wait by my door for 5 hours the driver never came then I got a message saying delivery attempted, no one ever came and I had to spend almost 2 hours on customer service chat to resolve the issue.

      My concern is with the customer service of ********************** employees. This pains me to have to say this, but the foreigners that are employed there have a really hard time understanding simple things. For instance, I purchased 3 tablets. An 8-inch, 10-inch, and a child's tablet. I called Amazon because I had a problem with the 8-inch tablet and the guy kept talking about the 10-inch and kid's even after I reminded him that I had not received them yet and that my problem was with the 8-inch tablet. I hung up because he continued to talk about something besides what I called for. He then calls me back and continues with the same thing. Problems such as this have happened many times before. An American would have understood me immediately. When I called back, the guy that I spoke to had no idea what he was doing. He put me on hold several times because he could not answer simple questions. He put me on hold for 7 minutes because he did not know how to send me the label for the return. There have also been many times when I am told one thing and I call back one or two more times and the answers are all different.I understand that money is a major reason why Amazon and most other companies hire foreigners, but they have to be able to properly communicate and it is imperative that they are trained properly. Problems such as this have become the norm with Amazon. I used to rave about Amazon's customer service because, at the time, you were one of the very few companies that provided really good customer service. It was easy to get through to talk to someone, they were knowledgeable and courteous. I can not say the same anymore. Your system offers options for different, but 9 times out of 10, it is never the option that I need, which makes it harder to get through to someone. I am sure that I speak for many other people in asking you to please train your employees properly and hire people that are able to understand simple conversation. Thank you!

      Ordered a 3D printer for my sons birthday on 7/11/23 for half price (normally $300) on Amazons Prime Day. It is ten days later- still no printer. Amazon cant tell me where it is, only that they will refund the money do I can purchase the same printer for full price. After which they will refund the difference, I tried to explain that I bought it on sale because I dont have the money to pay full price- Amazon says they cant help. Just to warn others: if you purchase a high priced, popular item on Amazon and they lose it- youre screwed. Now I have a very upset 13 year old and over $100 of printer filaments that are absolutely useless. Amazon has REALLY gone down hill over the last couple of years. Will be canceling my prime membership today!

      Amazon still withheld my refunds after 1 months received my returned item . I have called 5 times and been on hold more than 45 minutes each time. Associate was very rude and even laughed at me when I explaining what I been through try to get my refund.

      I am a Prime Member and have been for several years, and have used the Amazon 'Try before you buy' option several times. Recently I noticed that I could not use this option for several months, with no explanation. I reached out to customer service and after being transferred to 2 different departments, was informed I had been canceled from the program due to an item being returned damaged. I had received no notification of this from Amazon and no notification that there was a problem. When I asked if this could be addressed, rectified, questioned, reversed, sent up the chain, I was denied any of those options and was not told any details of what item was damaged or how it was damaged. I am simply now canceled from this program with no notification, no explanation, and no way to dispute this. This is a terrible way to treat your customers.

      Pay for prime, overnight shipping constantly takes 3-4 days to arrive lately. Birthday presents that arrive too late to be used. The list goes on and Amazon can care less. Wait 4 days to apply for a refund on an overnight delivery promised! Amazon prime is no longer feasible!
