Ive been having an issue getting a refund of $49.11 since April 27th, and its still not resolved. Its been over four weeks now, and every time I reach out, Im told the same thing: theres an internal error and its being looked into. Today (May 25th), a *** even hung up on me during the call.Ive contacted Amazon four times so far, and each time Ive been on hold anywhere from 30 to 50 minutes. I also asked if the refund could be issued as an Amazon credit instead, in case there's a problem refunding to the original payment methodbut that was declined too.

I have been an Amazon customer for years and was part of an ********************** Household where my mother is the primary Prime member. As a secondary adult in her Household, I was under the impression that I was receiving shared Prime benefitsas clearly stated in Amazons own policy. However, I recently discovered that I have been charged for my own Prime membership during this entire time. When I reached out to Amazon, they acknowledged it was an error but only offered a refund for up to one yeardespite the fact that this issue went on for much longer. This is incredibly disappointing. It is not a user error, but rather a failure on *********************** part to properly apply their Household benefits. I never would have subscribed to Prime on my own if I knew I was already covered. It feels like I was unknowingly double-billed for a premium service I should have had access to for free.Amazon needs to take accountability and issue a full refund for all overlapping charges, not just the past year. I expected better from a company of this size and reputation.

I tried to recover an old Audible account from 20+ years ago. I was passed around to over 10 people. I was told everything from the account doesn't exist to there are multiple accounts with the same address. Some of the employees would be able to verify the books on the account and others continued saying it didn't exist. After 2 hours on the phone and 10+ people, they just hung up. Never regained access to the account that I have spent money on over the years.

I tried to cancel my account with ********************** and also to cancel an order. Since the order has been on hold and the account has been on hold the order has been canceled. Unfortunately I have to jump through hoops to try to cancel my account with them. They want all this information to either take a picture of a statement or something with my name address phone number and the last four digits of an account number with a card that I used to pay for that purchase. Unfortunately I couldn't do it over the phone which you should be able to and to me it doesn't sound right making copies of a statement or a card with your name and last four digits of whatever card you're going to use. Very disappointed and upset with them because you can't do it over the phone which you should be able to so I am definitely not going to be ordering anything through Amazon ever again.

AMAZON -is really something else.. first account my credit card information was leaked had to create a whole new account and then for my second time creating another account with a new membership they charge my account for a subscription for AUDIBLE that I didn't even request for and then there customer service representative treated me like I was liar about a charge that was made to my credit card.

Purchased an Apple laptop computer from Amazon for $2889. Apple 2024 MacBook Pro Laptop with M4 Max, 14-core CPU, 32-core GPU: Built for Apple Intelligence, 14.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR Display, 36GB Unified Memory, 1TB SSD Storage; Space Black Return window closed on March 11, 2025 $2889 Shortly after purchasing the laptop, I was hospitalized for 2 weeks and in recovery. When I opened the box that was sealed, I assumed I had the right computer, but I shortly discovered it didn't have the storage capacity I had purchased and realized it wasn't the computer I purchased. It was a less expensive version. Approximately $1400 difference. The serial number on the computer that was sent is ********* it is for a model that has 16gb memory 512gb SSD M4. The box the computer came in showed the correct model and a different serial# ********** M4 36gb memory and 1TB SSD. I reached out to Amazon and because it was past the return window, I wasn't able to get a resolution. I have spoken to at least 12 front line employees and 4 different leads. I kept being told that they would resolve the issue. They requested to have the computer removed from the ***** account so they could generate a billing label. They asked for me to call back in 24 hours. After speaking with multiple people again. I was told there was nothing that could be done. I asked all of them to make it right, I was willing to keep the computer and get a credit or refund for the amount I overpaid. No solution and its my problem is what I was told. I even submitted a 1-star review about the experience and received an email that Amazon blocked the review. wow...that is shocking. This is my last attempt to give Amazon an opportunity to correct a wrong and make it right. This egregious behavior is unacceptable. After reading other reviews on this site, it's apparently standard business practice for Amazon. I guess when the company is big enough it can get away with anything.

Amazon marked a package as "delivered" to my address, but I never received it. The tracking information confirms delivery, but the package was clearly left at the wrong location. There was no delivery photo at my door, and it was not received by me, any member of my household, or my neighbors. I contacted Amazon immediately. It feels like some of the representatives just dont want to do their job. Ive been told multiple times that if the current supervisor "cant" resolve it, the issue will be pushed up to a higher team. That team, in turn, takes even longer to respond. I firmly believe they have the authority to issue a refund right away, but instead choose to delay and give customers a hard time. Whether its due to laziness or avoidance, its unacceptable customer service. Instead of addressing the issue promptly, they told me to wait until two full days before they would even begin to investigate or issue a refund. Their response placed the burden on me to locate the package, suggesting I check with neighbors or household members, even though I already stated it was not received. This delay is unacceptable. Amazons delivery error is not my responsibility, and I should not have to wait or jump through hoops to be refunded for an item I never received. Ive been a loyal customer for years, but now Im stuck waiting for an investigation just to get back money for items I never received. If Amazon cant guarantee accurate delivery, the least they can do is offer a prompt refund when a customer is left empty-handed through no fault of their own. It'll be much better if they would just take treat their customers with dignity and offer an immediate full refund for the undelivered package. The owner of this company should have an improved policy and faster resolution for customers affected by delivery errors, address poor customer service and policy issues, and policy changes that empower **** to resolve issues without unnecessary delays or passing the *****

Ordered over $1000 worth of goods last year, and Amazon was generally very good. But then I got the wrong product shipped to me. Understandable, those things happen. And because it was a pharmaceutical item, it could not be returned, Again, I understand. But Amazon would not send the correct item I had paid for. Now because of a $10 item, they've lost my business. The only word I can think of to describe this business practice in "stupid."
