I've been a registered MSDN developer for a very long time (20+ years) and I have an annual license fee I need to pay to retain my license/contract which was due 10/31/2023. Last spring I received a puzzling email from MS which is included in the images warning me that my contract would be cancelled if not paid. However, the business name listed was not one that I had dealt with prior. I had purchased my license through SoftwareMoreUSA.I tried contacting the company I had purchased this license previously which was SoftwareMoreUSA in September because I had not heard of anything and was unable to reach anyone.I then tried to reach out to AgilityIT who was listed as my reseller. I was told they do not do licensing and when I pressed them on it they referred me to CDW. After talking to someone at CDW, they said that they would be able to take over my license if I purchased the license from their website and listed my old contract ID which I did.Months went by and my license stopped working and I have major impacts with my customers in which I then called CDW. I asked them about my license and they said they cancelled the order because they didn't control my contract, but never sent me info that they did. So now my contract was cancelled and MS wants me to buy the full license again which is double the price of what I should be paying. I did everything I could to continue my licensing, but I believe MS did everything they could to cancel my contract. This will be the third time I've had to purchase a full license, the last time was a few years ago when I re-upped and my reseller did not pay MS to continue my license. So I was out that money as well. I'm a small business guy, I can't keep getting taken advantage by a company like MS. All I want is what I had tried for months to get and was unable. How am I supposed to renew if the reseller I was purchasing through no longer supported me? Complete BS.Business Response

Their answer is to just get over it and purchase a new license. I do not accept what they said as anywhere helpful or resolving anything. It's like dealing with the mob, you do it their way and pay up or you don't play at all. Even though their process is the one that screwed me over and I made every attempt to renew my license. So a huge business is s******* over a small one that actually supports them. I could almost call it extortion.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because you have made me purchase a full license twice when I have done my best efforts to renew. I dont care you "stand on your decision". What you did had a major impact on my pocketbook and business. You should be ashamed, especially since I have been a proponent of your services for a very long time.

I am rejecting this response because:This is the third time I've had to re-purchase a developer's license. Once you purchase a license through a company, you will be forever tied to them even if they go out of business. I tried to get my license renewed over 3 months with other resellers including CDW. CDW said they could do it, but then cancelled my order without telling me. I was then on the hook for purchasing a whole new developer's license. I'm a small business and for me this was costly. I've been a huge proponent of Microsoft until now which I am now considering other avenues. I can't be repurchasing the license every three years, I should be able to renew. I've held up my end of the agreement, but Microsoft didn't (but "technically" they did). Sad to see them take advantage of someone that creates products using their platform. I can't stress enough, all I wanted to do is renew, I wasn't looking for anything else.
Sincerely,

Hello recently my Minecraft account was compliance locked by Microsoft, I was very surprised and upset as I did not expect this to happen to me and lose access to my personal Minecraft account which I bought years ago. I did not break any service agreements and this lock is completely unfair and left me disheartened as I can no longer play on my precious Minecraft account. The only reason I can think of for my account to flag their system and become locked is my use of a vpn but I never actually broke and terms of service agreements. I really want to have my precious minecraft account back and can provide all of the original information from when I purchased it aswell as the microsoft account that I migrated it onto during the migration period of minecraft. I hope my account can be unlocked by giving this proof,Microsoft account info, email:************************ ** Name: ******* ***** MS ********* ****** Date of Birth: Feb 5 **** MS ********* Daylight9495 mojang info, creation email: ********************* Creation Date: 2014-02-15T08:55:07Z Date of Birth: Jan 1, **** UUID: ******************************** Thank you and kind regards,Business Response

Microsfot is encroaching on my rights, interfering with my computer services, compromising my personal information, using coercion to force giving them money and using their apps, and in general being too controling of my personal devices.1. Microsoft said they would charge my account for another year's subscription even though I did not order it.2. Deleting the subscription was hard to find. 3. Deleting the subscription was difficult becuase of deceptive word usage and hidden tools.4. I tried to change my password back to one I had used before and they would not let me. I needed that previous password to be consistent with my other accounts. There is no law against using a prior password. My account is not comporomised, there is no reason for preventing me from using my previous password.5. Microsoft uses deception to coerce us into using their ****** and their apps.6. Microsft is unfairly making it harder to use ****** products and products of other companys.7. Microsoft is using extortion to make it harder to use my cheap printer. Their software is not letting our printer software work.8. Microsft does not sell its Microsoft office product but forces us to pay them every year for it even after we bought it.9. Microsft steals and is making my life a slave to their whim.I want Microsoft to: 1 allow me to use a previous password, top attacking other competitor programs on my personal device, stop planning to charge me for services I did not order, not charge for Microsoft Office after it is purchased, and stop deceptive word usage and complexity in its apps.Business Response

In June of 2023, my Microsoft account which I had been using for about 10 years was taken over by a ******* hacker through an IP address in ***************. Microsoft instructed me to contact support if the changes made to my account were not me and I did so. Support promised to send my issue to the escalation team (whatever that means) and would get back to me. My support case was closed without notifying me and they continued to allow the hacker to use my account. The account was recently suspended for violating terms of service so I opened a case to have it reinstated back under my information and provided the customer service ample evidence that I was indeed the owner. Service closed my request shortly afterward and did not help at all. This account has files that I used for my college classes and tax records on it, as well as a game I paid around $30 for. I am seeking help getting my account back as it seems their support is entirely AI-based and I have yet to speak with an actual human being. I have attached pictures of everything sent to me when my account was originally taken over. Also, I attached my original attempt to get my account recovered where I was never sent a resolution, and my attempt from earlier this week where I provided ample evidence that the account was mine and my request was still denied.Business Response
