  IQ DATA INTERNATIONAL is showing a unsubstaniated debt of ***** as of May 18 2024 on my credit file . I have disputed this debt and they have not provided evidence that I have a contract or owe the debt with IQ DATA INTERNATIONAL . They only respond that the debt is valid under fair credit act on the credit file response . I am not liable for the debt they are reporting from the Cimmaron Apartments I have no contract or agreement with IQ DATA INTERNATIONAL

  Im disputing a collection account t hat I have continuously disputed with the company and the *********************** Experian . They continue to validate the debt with nothing in writing. I have asked for original contracts and receipts of debt as well as the contract agreement from collection agency ******* and have received nothing. I began disputing this in 2023 and most recently July of 2025. IQ Data International is the collections company and original company noted is ******************* . The balance they originally posted was $2,791 and over time it has been raised to $3,603. With no written communication or notices this amount is reporting on my credit profile. Between July 23 to August 4th 2025 the balance increased again. The verbage on the credit reporting site stated it could be added interest from the collections agency. This unvalidated debt that is on my credit report is preventing me from obtaining housing. Therefore leaving me and my children with no place to live at the present moment. I am requesting the immediate removal of this collection from my credit file and all interest be stopped within 4 business days as the company IQ Data International has failed to provide proper contract and debt documentation.

  Thank you for forwarding *******s response. Their letter does not resolve my complaint.

  
  I have specifically requested proper validation of the alleged debt for years now  under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (*****, 15 U.S.C. 1692g(b)). What ******* provided merely restates my original lease with Cimarron Apartments. This does not prove:
  
  That ******* has legal authority to collect the debt,
  How the balance increased from the original lease charges to the current amount, including interest and fees, or
  An itemized accounting of the debt as required for validation.
  
  A simple copy of their letter and unverified right to debt  does not establish a contractual obligation between myself and *******, nor does it verify that the amounts reported are accurate. Until ******* provides this documentation, the account remains unverified.

  Continuing to report this account without full validation constitutes furnishing inaccurate and unverifiable information, which is a violation of both the ***** and the ***** Each continued reporting of an unverified account is considered a separate violation of these federal statutes.

  I utilized Flex Deposit to pay my deposit when moving in to the ******** Apartments in June of 2022. I can't remember the exact amount for the deposit and I haven't been able to get a hold of anyone at Flex Deposit On January 19th we received an email from the property management stating that our building, building 10 would be ongoing repairs that were undetermined as far as when they would be resolved. We had been without hot water and heat the entire winter and gas leaks were occuring every day.In this email they stated they would let us out of our lease without penalty. We secured new residency on January 30th of 2024 and moved out. We ensured to follow all procedure necessary with moving out. Returned keys, cleaned rental unit, and paid final utility bills which I have proof of. They then claimed to flex deposit that we owed a cleaning fee and utilities in the amount of like $452. I refuse to pay them, and they sent me to collections with IQ Data.On Fri, Jan 19, 2024, 3:54PM The ******** <***********************> wrote:Dear Residents: Due to the ongoing nature of this work, we would like to re-offer to everybody affected by this hot water issue the option of moving out of their unit without penalty.   Attached is the response from the ******** whom they are claiming I owe. The ******** states they offered me $500 for move out fees. 

   

  If I still owed for a final bill, wouldn't they just apply it to that bill? Considering the alleged debt is less than $500.

   

  This is two businesses preying on hard working Americans and colluding to lie and steal. 

   

  IQ just keeps sending the same response over and.over.

   

  I was not offered any money to move out, I did not reside until 2/4 I turned my keys in on 1/29 which I have proof of as well. 

  You did not mail me any such verification of debt. I have not received any documentation from you. Please send me the proof of the debt.

  I recently discovered an unauthorized debt collection on my credit report from IQ DATA INTERNATIONAL **** Despite my efforts to dispute the validity of the debt and provide evidence of identity theft, IQ DATA INTERNATIONAL *** has continued to pursue collection activities and has placed the collection on my credit report, negatively impacting my credit score.I initially disputed the debt by sending a formal dispute letter to IQ DATA INTERNATIONAL ***, stating that I did not authorize the account and providing evidence supporting my claim. This evidence included documentation of identity theft and proof that the address listed on the lease agreement provided by collection agency does not correspond to my residence. Additionally, the ** address associated with the electronic signature on the lease agreement does not coincide with my address. I believe that IQ DATA INTERNATIONAL *** has violated my rights under the ***** and has engaged in unfair and deceptive practices by continuing to pursue collection activities without providing adequate proof of the debt's validity and authenticity.I seek the removal of the collection from my credit report and cessation of all collection activities related to the disputed debt.

  My son ***************************** sent a 1/3/24 cashier check for $683.24 to ***********, an apartment rental company in *****, as the final payment on an apartment I had cosigned on. We received a collection call 4/23/24 from Iqdata, their contracted collection company, stating that if we didn't immediately pay the amount due plus interest there would be a bad **** on his credit until the issue was resolved. We went to the bank and found that the cashiers check had been cashed. We called Cedar Flats and they said their files had been accidently wiped but they would correct the issue with their corporate office. They also sent proof of payment. We relayed a copy of the payments and the information about the accounting error to Iqdata but they said they would proceed with the derogatory credit comment until they had time to investigate. Despite that, IQ Data filed a negative credit report for my son as they said they required payment of the debt claimed while they investigated. Whether the negative credit report can ever be truly cleaned from the record once this issue is settled and it is proven that IQ Data received incorrect data from *********** Apartments is in question and may unfairly economically impact many aspects of our lives including employment, further rentals and other credit applications.   I am rejecting this response because: The collections agent said that they would file a negative credit report if we did not immediately agree to deposit the amount being collected and the amount would be returned if the investigation determined that the debt wasn't owed. That the collections company did not end up filing the negative credit report is not relevant to the fact that they pressured us, I as cosigner, by making a threat before investigating which i understand to not be an acceptable credit practice. Fortunately we declined to make the deposit for an amount we didn't owe and subsequent investigation supported our position. The recording of the call should reflect the threat that was made, despite the company's assertion that the recording shows nothing amiss with their credit practices. Their claim to follow all of the best collecton practices apparently is not being followed in practice which the company doesn't have the good ***** to admit to.

  The information IQ Data provided is not the information that was requested according to the letter I've sent. The documentation they provided is not the original lease documentation nor is there a signature anywhere on it. IQ Data doesn't collect payment on behalf of Renaissance of *****************. I have an audio recording from Renaissance stating who they're partnered with to collect funds on their behalf, as well as other information.
