Recently, I investigated my credit report and found several items there to be inaccurate. I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a disputed debt from IQ Data on behalf of the Benedictine, my former apartment complex. The debt in question totals $490.20 and purportedly covers move-out charges. I firmly believe these charges are invalid and fraudulent. Despite my attempts to resolve this matter directly with IQ Data, I have encountered significant obstacles.Initially, I reached out to IQ Data via email and phone to dispute the charges. Regrettably, my emails have gone unanswered, and during a recent phone call, I was abruptly disconnected while attempting to address the issue.The Benedictine has provided me with an itemized statement detailing the alleged damages: Stove top: $12.50 Oven/range: $25.00 Kitchen floor: $7.00 Counter top: $20.00 Kitchen sink: $20.00 Refrigerator: $10.00 Microwave: $7.00 Trash removal: $5.00 Living room floor: $20.00 Bedroom floor: $10.00 Bathroom sink (x2): $14.00 Toilet bowl (x2): $40.00 Shower door (x2): $200.00 Shower floor + install: $100.00 I have attached photos provided by the Benedictine showing that these amounts are unwarranted. The so-called damages, such as water stains on shower doors and floors, result from Arizona's high mineral content water and are easily remedied without replacement. Furthermore, upon moving into the apartment, I paid a redecoration fee that should have covered any necessary cleaning costs.Additionally, I possess video evidence confirming the apartment's condition upon my departure, which contradicts the justification for these charges. I am prepared to share this evidence with your office to support my claim.I request that the Better Business Bureau intervene in this matter to ensure a fair and equitable resolution. I already have reported my complaint about half a year prior about a debt that I do not owe. It was for 500 dollars to an apartment complex that did not have proof that I owed a debt and they even told me in the response on this website (that you can surely find) that they do not have proof so I don't know why they continue to harass me. I would just like to let them know if they continue with this harassment they will see me in court since it is illegal to do what they have been doing and I will fight them to the bitter end.

I am rejecting this response because:*******'s reasoning for the debt being valid is complete non-sense. If having photo evidence as well as video evidence is not proof of no damage, then what is? Where is the line drawn out? If photos and videos aren't proof, then how do they prove that the damages were from after I moved out and I'm not being set up? I wasn't even given the chance to even talk with the Benedictine about the debt before they sent me to a debt collector which is shady enough as is. I even outlined in my contract that I don't owe them anything because I paid a non-refundable redecoration fee in advance so how does that logically not cover damage even if there was damage to be present (which there isn't because this is a scam)? The Benedictine and ******* both have histories of being disingenuous money grabbers and this case is no different. I want to not hear from this business again and let this letter be my intent of rejecting/invalidating the debt once more. If they want to see me in court and waste money on a case they know they can't win, then so be it.

Sept. 30, 2021 my daughter, ***************************, moved out of an apartment that I cosigned for at ****************, **************************************. I received the move out statement and paid what they were asking less $300 for the clean up of the apartment, which we were disputing. The amount they were asking is $2,071.14. I paid $1,771.14. I sent this to the apartment complex on Nov. 22, 2021. The apartment complex never responded to the dispute over the $300 and the check cleared my account on Jan. 3, 2022. Neither my daughter nor myself were ever contacted by Atlantic Heights. On Feb. 6, 2024, I received a phone call from **** from I. ******* International demanding I pay $2,071.14. I questioned what this was for and was told for bounced checks. My wife, who handles the finances, called **** and tried to speak to him so this issue could be cleared up. She requested proof of the debt and was told that they do not need to supply us with proof since his client supplied him with all the proof he needed. We corresponded back and forth and told I. ******* International to take us to court since we have proof we paid everything with the exception of the $300. Since Atlantic Heights cashed our check with no response to the dispute, that indicated acceptance. I feel that both companies are committing fraud in the fact that they are asking for any money let alone the total amount of $2,071.14.Customer Answer

On or about March 2023 IQ Data sent me a demand for over $1,000.00 representing ***********************, **************** from which I moved from in Feb 2023. I Moved out complying with the lease as well as ethics. I never received an Invoice or other statement from *********************** that IQ data was representing. I notified them of that and in a few weeks IQ Data did e-mail me an invoice. They had a late fee for Feb 2023 which was an error because I was moved out as per expiration date of 2/6/23. I mentioned this in my reply and also requested a full description of the other charges WHICH ARE CODED. I never stated I was not willing to pay anything. Simply requesting a detailed description. I am rejecting this response because:I Clearly requested that all lines on the Invoice from Village of *************** be explained.
There are many that are coded which they only understand what they are.
Re: the Carpet and Refrigerator I requested PHOTOS of issues as I did not cause any damage to them.
I have witnesses.
They reduced the charges???? Why? Guilt???
I NEVER received any additional communication from IQ Data since May 2023 regarding my dispute.
But now they will send me this???? What a joke. So unprofessional.
Recently to only find out that they placed me in collections which is effecting my credit rating. THIS IS UNDERHANDED.
I NEVER STATED THAT I WAS UNWILLING TO WORK THIS OUT OR TO PAY ANY REASONABLE ACTUAL FEES.
So filing this with the credit bureaus is cowardly and despicable.
I ALSO MENTIONED THAT THE PROPERTY DOES NOT LIST ANY FEE CHART FOR SUCH THINGS.
MEANING THERE IS NO TRANSPARENCY.
Since I have not heard back from anyone since 5-2023 I started billing Village of *************** for failure to refund my Security Deposit with interest from 2/1/2023 to present with interest accumulating every month this is unpaid.

I received a call from ***************** with IQ Data International and I was very polite. I told him I was glad he called because I didnt know where to call so I could pay this debt I owe. I told him I would pay in October. He seemed nice at first, but weird he would ask me what kind of car I own & other personal questions. Then he snapped in a second. He got loud & demanded I put my sick, elderly mother on the phone so she could pay my bill! I said no! She has lung cancer! Omg, I was in shock! He kept yelling at me, you better get her on the phone NOW because this needs to be paid today! I said, let me talk to a supervisor right now! He continued telling me my mom better pay my bill today & I said again to put me through to a supervisor. I confirmed his name was ********************** said hed transfer me, but no one ever answered. I called back three times. First time, the guy transferred me right back to *****************. Second time, they hung up on me. Third time, I told the guy what happened & instead of saying a word, he put me on hold, I guess bc the elevator music started to play. Im legally disabled. Both physically and mentally. Im in absolute distress right now because of this man & the other people who answered the phone. This is NOT okay!! I want them to be held accountable!! Im breaking down now, because who does that? Who speaks that way to another human? Especially a disabled one? Theyve NEVER sent me anything in the mail or email. I was never transferred to a supervisor; instead, the men at IQ Data International toyed with me, by hanging up, transferring me back to **************, or putting me on hold when no one would ever come to pick up the call. ************** asked me personal questions that I didnt feel comfortable answering, but he assured me it was to receive some sort of leniency towards a due date. After he gathered my private information, he quickly turned into a monster and said he didnt care and I needed to pay something right now (even though I told him I would be taking care of the matter in October). The whole ordeal was something Ive never dealt with, as far as any company goes- including other collection agencies. They should be out of business. I will settle my debt with ********* on my own so I never have to deal with these people again. I understand my rights and what he (*****************) & the other employees did to me. It was a crime. Committing mental anguish, harassment, and abuse. I have no documents to attach, because they have never sent me a bill. Neither via **** or Email. I have an debt that was turn over to IQ data *** and I tried to contact them several times. I let them know the amount of the debt is wrong and the rep that I spoke with said she wasn't going to look into nor was she going to work with me on making payment arrangements. I also, let her know I was NEVER given any notice of this debt. I saw it pop up on my credit report. Still to this date, I haven't received anything from HARLOW LUXURY APARTMENTS nor from IQ data **** when I try to do the chat on their website it said that I was not on the debt that they could not speak to me and I have proof of that. So then why are you going after me and messing up my credit. The interest is going up I want to say daily not even weekly. The rep is unreasonable and they don't work with you at all. The way that this company does business is unethical and it goes against everything that they say on their website. When I try to explain to the rep at IQ data that some of the charges and information on the report were wrong she had nothing nice to say she wasn't willing to listen and I have proof of what I'm talking about. She said she didn't not like the way that I was handling my account and she was not going to help me out at all. That wasn't professional that was personal. I've tried to make the payments with the actual company and with IQ data and have gotten nowhere and I've gotten frustrated with IQ data so I gave up. I reached out to them when it popped up on my credit score and I asked them why wasn't I sent a letter and she ignored it I never received anything from them or from ****** in writing saying that I owed anything. Also I spoke to someone at IQ data and see if I can make payment arrangements because I wasn't sure if the other party had their portion and she told me no that she didn't like the way I handled the case or my account and that she was not going to be working with me that she was not going to make payments online available to me and that she wanted the money all in full. The company is nothing like their mission statement on their website They are not helpful They do not try to work with you. I have pictures of the apartment that looks spotless nothing needed to be done and it's normal wear and tear that the maintenance or the apartments should pay for out of their money not mine. Also on my credit report it does not say in dispute at all it's still showing as a debt and each week not monthly, but weekly she's increasing or that company is increasing the debt or the interest every week the interest goes up. On document or screenshotIMG-20240407-WA0010.jpg shows where the manager addresses ******'s email on November 20,2023 and says we moved you out earlier that week, But why does ******'s document say that she moved us out November the 9th That's not earlier that week. That's almost a 10-day discrepancy. I contacted a landlord and tenant attorney 2024007_193105_chrome.jpg The reason why she said she held our security deposit was to paint the unit that is not a deductible expense that they're supposed to take out of our deposit per Nevada law. Also I have more green shots to upload but I can't I ran out of room for the five. With all the discrepancies I want to negotiate a pay for delete agreement in writing from IQ data so we can get this taken care of and I want it off of my credit report because I was never notified. IQ data international currently has over 350 complaints file with the **** and about 216 complaints with the better Business bureau because of their inaccurate reports and their verification request failing there is a current lawsuit out where you can get compensated because of their practices ****** has discrepancies and I q data also has their discrepancies and their fraudulent practices.Sincerely,
