    If I could give Classmates.com a ZERO, I would. I dont have to add much, because looking at many of the reviews on the BBB, I have had the same experience. I got billed for a renewal with ZERO notice. And of course, they refuse to give me a refund. Classmates is saying they sent me a renewal notice on 4/26/2024, but they have yet to actually produce it. I have looked through my inbox, my spam folder and my trash folder. NONE! What a SCAM they have there. I have had situations with ****** and XM Radio that were similar except for one thing. They gave me a full or prorated refund. POOR FORM CLASSMATES.COM, POOR FORM. Definitely not a good customer service company at all! Stay away! Stay away!

    Original purchase was an annual subscription. Subsequently without an email indicating an upcoming renewal, was charged again for an annual subscription. Tried to cancel immediately after the charge and was denied. Poor customer experience, questionable business practices.

    This company preys on the elderly and has an unscrupulous 2 year automatatic renewel scem. A couple of years ago I signed on as I was approaching my 50th high school reunion. I never used it for much and stopped replying to their junk emails. They would not refund a 2 year subscription of 92 dollars. I am elderly and don't like to be scamed.

    Classmates automatically charges credit cards on file to renew membership even though I never authorized this. Tried to resolve by calling their business to no avail.

    In the beginning many years ago when I first started with classmates it was a really interesting sight since then they've spent all of their time just trying to steal people's money and not working with the quality of the site. People who I really want to find something out about or you know look back on them are too ashamed of the site to join or show pictures it's a shame that it should be that way but decide has truly dropped in quality and now they took out $21 for a 3 month subscription without ever asking without ever and alerting me by saying we do not do that on a short-term subscription only on a long term this will be my last term ever ever on this site.I called yesterday and I got a very polite very nice young man who basically was very well trained in the most polite way to "f you very much"but you're still going to lose your $21 I live on $700 a month and something like this sets off a chain of events I can't fix my next month I've already paid every bill I have and now that they took out money that wasn't there I had $9 until the end of the month and they took that up and then went into negative numbers I never ever would have given them permission but they said that it must have been in the waiver that I signed in the end and now I'm going to do nothing but try to mess them up by warning everybody I know on my classmate sites whatever you do don't turn your back on this company. When it comes to renewals and contacting they won't contact you if they have any sneaky way to get away with it because when I got a notice 3 months ago about renewing i x out of it and they came back with a cheaper offer I turn them down four times before I finally realize if I don't go ahead and do this they're never going to leave me alone and I believe they still won't but I'm going to print out a copy of this and mail it to him and hope they realize the way they are is pushy and greedy

    Scammed me out of my lifetime membership. Many years ago I bought a special offer lifetime membership and used it for a long time, until recently when my 50th reunion is coming up and suddenly I can't access my account. **************** claims there's no such thing as a lifetime membership and of course I bought it so long ago I can't prove it. They are ripping me off to try and force me into buying another membership.

    A horrible company! Charged my account and refuses to refund the money. I called them the minute I saw the charge. They stated they had a no refund policy. I asked for a supervisor and none were available. I want a refund.

    This is an extremely fraudulent company with fraudulent business practices. They are stealing money from the public for auto renewals, and ignore cancellations. My husband and I took a trial membership over a year ago, but closed them prior to the end of the trial, canceling tge auto payment. Classmates has committed fraud by charging our credit card anyway, without our permission after we cancelled the account and the auto-pay. I called to dispute the charges 6 mo. ago and was told that my husband's account had not been closed. I asked the agent to close it and she confirmed that she had, and that no more payments would be charged for automatic renewals. This was 6 months ago. I just realized today that they still continue to charge for automatic renewals of his account, after two attempts to close the account once by me and once by their own agent. To make matters worse I called today to cancel the account for the third time and I was assured that it was being closed and that an email would be sent to confirm. I got the email, but it was regarding my account and not my husband's account, which is the one they are charging continuously for over a year now... over $100 lost.

    last year I signed up for classmates for $30.00. when it expired 4/15/24 the price doubled to $60.00 with automatic renewal ,which I didn't knowing do. There was no notice of this $60.00 dollar charge so I called them to cancel and get a refund and they wouldn't do it. So now I have an account that they won't cancel or refund. Not happy about this.

    I also have a issue with them refusing to refund the money auto payment of $96.00 for a renewal. I never got a renewal notice and was charged $96. I am currently unemployed and will soon be going on disability. They charged me despite turning off the auto renewal and refuse the refund. I told them they would be reported to the BBB and that they have caused my account to go into the red. I don't know what they expect me to live on. I have no money at all and now can't even go anywhere because I can't even put gas into my car. I guess they want me to starve and eventually end up on the street. They totally ****. I want my refund.
