  I tried a trial membership for classmates.com in 2021 to see if there was any information about a possible 40 year high school reunion. Except for an occasional email message from them in my spam folder, I haven't had any contact with their website. Now there is a $96.00 charge on my **** bill. I contacted them and ******* was quick to inform me there is a No-Refund policy. He tells me, I just have given them authorization for auto-renewals. I've filed a complaint with the credit card company and hopefully can get my money back. They should not be able to scam people! Wish I could give them a Negative 5 Stars!

  Billed me fraudulently, 3 months after I had cancelled - for the second time! They have a way of getting back into you financial information, this is not the first time. There is no card on file that they say to "click turn off auto renewal " so there's nothing to click! I'm not sure how they were able to get through to billing my PayPal account. And how do you permanently delete your account because they don't give you that option either.

  About a month ago, I began receiving emails from classmates.com. They said that friends from my **** ****** *********** class were looking for me. The photos and names were blurred. Curiosity aroused, I subscribed.I did find that some friends looked for me ***** years ago but nothing current. In fact, some of those classmates are deceased. I called to complain. They said, unfortunately, they do not give refunds! This is clearly a scam. Please share with all of your friends who went to high school and their friends. WASTE OF MONEY

  I never joined Classmates.com with a paid membership, so they should never have had my debit card information. However, a few years ago I had a charge on my account supposedly from them. The phone number associated with the charge did go to Classmates.com, at least apparently as I did not speak to a person. I reported the charge as fraudulent and it was removed from my account by my bank. Today, 4/16/23, I had another charge from them for $21.60. Once again I reported this to my bank as a fraudulent charge.I have to wonder if these charges were actually originated by the real Classmates.com organization or if a clever thief is making the charge appear to be from them when it actually is not. As I said, I never paid for a membership on Classmates and would not have given the my card info. Also, the second charge noted above was after getting a new card some years ago after the first fraudulent charge.I never even bothered trying to call Classmates on these as both charges were fraudulent regardless of who initiated them. I simply report these to my bank directly and get my account credited.

  Imagine my frustration when I found a new charge on my credit card from these crooks -- I dropped my "membership" more than fifteen years ago! At that time I had to report their continuing, unauthorized charges to my bank as fraudulent.Last month -- new bank & new card -- these crooked ***** somehow got my new account info and created a new charge!

  Nasty undermining thieves ! Tried to sneak in a $60 supposedly renewal fee on Christmas Eve so I wouldnt be looking at my bank account. They refused to remove the charge saying I had auto signed up when I did not. They should be put out of business for theft.

  Last year I erroneously bought a Membership for $30, which I thought was a trial period. When billed, I filed a complaint with my ******************** then went to the sight and clicked on the cancellation link. Last week I was charged $60 for a renewal. When I called and explained that I cancelled it last year, and was told I must have incorrectly cancelled as I have to hit the cancellation account app as well which I was not prompted to do.I called to request a refund and was told I couldn't get a refund. Instead my membership would be continued for another year. I had never received a notice that my membership was coming up for renewal. I got nowhere with my effort. Finally, I told my credit card that the charge was fraudulent and that I had never authorized.

  They are AWFUL! Misidentify classmates' pix as someone else, and claim some underclassmen were in our class! No contact info available, believe they are scammers to get money, and NO WAY will I download their app!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  This site is a rip off. I didnt know about the auto renewal and called the day after it appeared in my checking account. They would not give me my money back!
