    This company is a fraud, they automatically renew the subscription at an additional fee without any notice. I did not receive notification that my bank account would be debited. I called customer service and informed them that I did not receive an invoice notifying me of an upcoming bill, the representative, *********, badge # ****, stated that 'her computer was lagging and she could not see if an invoice was sent to me." I advise anyone who has signed up for this service to promptly cancel this service.

    I'll echo some of the reviews already posted, but focus on their policy of NO REFUNDS. Didn't realize I had a paid subscription for the past two years, renewing today, Aug 14th, 2023, but was receipted via Paypal for the $60 annual fee. Contacted Classmates via phone and requested refund, was told my account is paid thru Aug 14, **** and set now to non-renewal, as there is no refund policy. Really? Then the rep hung up on me. Had told me a renewal email was sent July 5th. My spam and trash folders only go back 30 days, and I failed to ask that the renewal email be re-sent. I'll do that if/when a supervisor returns my call. This is a s***** protocol. I no longer desire the services and requested a refund on the day it was paid. They'd be out NOTHING to refund this account, but I'm scorned now and will devote $60 worth of effort to tell my very-negative-story about Classmates. Make sure to uncheck the box for auto-renewal. You may or may not receive a renewal message. I never saw mine. How convenient for them if it went into my spam folder, where I don't review due to all the c*** email received/sent there. Not a happy customer and shame on you for not having a good refund policy.

    Do not sign on to Classmates.com; they do not use real information (a scam??). On 8/1, I received "new" photos being added to Classmates from people who are dead; out of the 7-8 "new" photos, 4 of the people died in 2013, 2015, 2016, and 2021. Also, on an earlier occasion I sent a private note to a classmate I had not seen for awhile, having lost touch over the years. She is one of the deceased classmates mentioned earlier and I'm concerned about where that note went since I had given her my email address, not to mention the strangeness I felt that I had written a note to someone who had passed away. I guess I thought this site was monitored and truthful, but I guess I'm more naive (or trustful) that I thought. I'll just have to bear the burden of the loss of money. I realize I am naive, but another issue you should be aware of is automatic renewal. I apparently signed up for this in the past (not remembering now) and was recently billed $104.64 for two years of Classmates! I know others are not being billed this much. When I saw this on my statement, I called and cancelled and asked for a refund. I was told in no uncertain terms that there are no refunds. I did not receive any notice letting me know this renewal was happening, but the person at Classmates did not care, just reiterated that they give no refunds! Then, promptly hung up on me. SO BEWARE and check you account if you have one.

    Requested a refund for $21.60 for the current charge but will not refund it. Said I already paid it through my ***** I was unaware they have been charging me every 3 months for the past couple of years. That is not what I signed up for. Why they can't prorate the $21.60 I don't know. Why should I have to pay for something I don't want and have not received e-mails or other information for the past 6 to ********************************************************************************************** To me this unethical to keep charging and not receiving anything in return. **** M *********** **.

    I would like to give Classmates.com "no stars"! I bought the least expensive membership because I just wanted to try it out. I paid for 3 months and I did not receive any access to any information. I reached out to customer service and did not receive a reply. I started looking at online complaints and found that they will automatically renew your subscription without consent. Because I had no response from **************** I cancelled any future payments with my credit card company. I also cancelled my membership with Classmates.com, but was sure they would continue to charge my account, based on what I had read online. This is definitely a scam, because you get absolutely nothing for your "subscription". This company should not be in business to prey on all people who attended high school. They get students names from high school yearbooks. I have also unscribed from their emails and continue to receive 3 or more per day.

    This company is a scam. I never asked for their emails. I have unsubscribed from their email dozens of times and I am still harrassed by them several times a day. GO AWAY.

    I just got a message from my credit card company that they charged me $96 for 2 years. I called them this afternoon and they guy gave me the same BS, it was on auto renew, no refunds, no nothing. I will be calling the bank but currently it is pending and they can't do anything until it is on your credit card

    BEWARE!!I canceled my subscription and they still charged my card. I called and they said too bad, no refund and then they hung up on me.
