  Total scam. Their two-year plan can be cancelled but they restart it at their own leisure and when you call fraud they send a super intense email to your bank claiming you didn't cancel, you signed a billing agreement, show email confirmation of such, and come up with some advanced automatic renewal reminder. You never really get unsubscribed. Don't ever sign up with them.

  Worst customer service ever! Run by a bunch of inconsiderate people! They send offers for yearbooks that you are not even in! Then when you try to send it back to spray refund they dont let you so youre stuck with $100 yearbook that youre not even in.

  Spam Spam and more Spam from this company. They don't have an easy way to unsubscribe from marketing emails which might (or might not) be a violation of the can-spam act.

  This site uses very shady practices. Do NOT even allow yourself to be part of this sham. Once you join their site, they show you classmates from your year and tell you to "remember" them. Once you do that, your poor classmate is notified that someone remembered them, but you cannot access who they are. You have to then pay to see them. Even if you are foolish enough to pay them to be a member in order to send a note to a fellow alumni, you will NOT receive a reply until they pay so basically, you are just a lure, with no guarantee that your note will ever be seen by your classmate. I would give the ZERO STARS if possible. They are a total sham.

  In my opinion this company is a scam, not worth spending your time or money on, they are not customer centric, rude when you call and unresponsive to your concerns. My advice would be to avoid this company completely. I am currently in dispute with charges to my credit card and if you want to avoid a hassle, stay away from this company. If a minus rating were possible it would be used.

  Well, like others listed below, my recent problem with Classmates is very disturbing. When checking my bank account I noticed that a charge was posted to Classmates. This was a surprise as I had no warning of the impending charge, which was on "auto-billing" through Pay Pal. That's not the story. The story is I checked my Classmates page and found that not only did they have my name listed incorrectly (wrong spelling of my first name, and incorrect last name) they also had me listed graduating from the wrong high school. Additionally, they had the incorrect email address. Pay Pal had an expired debit card on file but Classmates still was able to charge my bank account. When speaking to a representative I was told of the email address they had on file for me. That was an email that was from my old place of employment and had been deleted upon my retirement over three years ago. Upon speaking to a representative, I informed him of this situation and he just blew my off stating that it was my fault I didn't update my email address with Classmates. He then explained that an email was sent (to my expired) email address and that I had not cancelled my account in time to not be billed. I explained all of the above and told him that they should have received a "kick back" from the email address informing them that the email they used was invalid. He just ignored all of the mitigating issues and instead answer in their trained robotic customers service phrase, that they (he) could do nothing for me...not even so much as correcting the blatant errors found on their web-page. As evidenced by many others who have contributed to this page, I would warn all who dare to use this social platform, to stay away...far away. They are great at taking your money but nothing else better than useless at customer service and of little integrity. I will spread the word and hopefully Classmates will someday disappear.

  Did NOT renew the subscription. In fact the original credit card I used, 2 years ago, to sign up, was expired. HOWEVER, Classmates.com still hit the replacement card for $96/2 years, without my knowledge. I saw the $96 charge show up on my credit card statement. Called the credit card company and reported I did NOT authorize the charge and did not add NEW credit card information on the Classmate.com website. Credit card company contacted Classmate.com. Classmate.com has in their policy automatic renewal service, which means they have access to credit card information and when the old credit card expires, and youre issued a new card, Classmate.com automatically got my new information. Interesting though, the credit card company ALSO changed and Classmate.com was able to get the NEW credit card company and totally NEW account number and charged my NEW credit card all without my permission!! I just spoke with *****, at Classmate.com, asked them to refund my $96 since it was NOT authorized and I did NOT add that card to Classmate.com for any renewal, was informed in their policy, they have authority to automatically tract and receive NEW credit card information! I disagreed. Im waiting to receive a call from ****** supervisor as I said, Classmate.com has fraudulently charged my NEW credit card that I did NOT add to the account and I was not going to renew! As many have stated in comments prior to mine, CLASSMATE.COM is scamming people and in my opinion fraudulently charging accounts without PERMISSION of the cardholder, like they did me! Their policies are NO REFUND and by having a Classmate.com account you AGREE to whatever they do to you, your account, your credit card!! I will spread my experience with Classmate.com every opportunity I can. Their unscrupulous, conniving, fraudulent way of doing business needs to be STOPPED! If BBB didnt force/require one to select a star rating, there would be negative stars shown!

  I echo the other complaints I've read on this site. Apparently I have an automatic 2-year renewal that hit my credit card on 8/12/2023 for $100.80 that they will not reverse even though I called and informed them that I do not use or want membership to their online service. I would recommend that no one use their service - they list many members but very few are active and, to me, the site is pretty much useless. I would give "0" stars if possible.

  ************ is a fraud. On August 18, 2023 I was charge with a ridiculous amount of $100.54. They never sent a notice to notify me of this charge. I called them to reverse the charge and they said they have a no policy cancellation. The person I was talking to also hung up on me ************ is very bad. It's not worth signing up for and they will scam you for money.
