Shan - I am happy to see you have been in contact with our **************** Team in regards to this. To confirm, Conservice passes along any bills received from the local utility providers as they are received. There may be times when we receive more than one bill from a utility provider and you would be billed for multiple service periods. This is done to ensure the service periods being billed are as caught up as possible. You can find ************************************************************************************************************************************* for more information on why this can happen. Please note the service period of the utilities is typically a couple of months behind the due date of the statement. For example, on the statement due 05/01/23, the water service periods are from 02/08/23-03/08/23 and 03/08/23-04/11/23. I am sorry for any confusion. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any additional questions.Review fromShay H

1 starIf I could give this zero stars I would. Ever since my apartment community switched to Conservice Utility for our water/sewage/valet trash service, my water bill has risen enormously. There is the same number of people living in my apartment that there has always been. We do not overuse or consume anymore than we always have. Water usage has actually decreased over the past few months yet my water bill keeps rising. A bill that used to be around $80-99 monthly is now $144!!! How and why? No explanation. I believe this is price gouging and that Conservice is taking advantage by increasing the rates to ease their financial burdens. I am taking this to the Dekalb County Water Commissioner and contacting news outlets to complain of this unscrupulous billing.Conservice Utility Management & Billing

Shakanya - I regret to see you have not contacted us directly in regards to your concerns. To clarify, at your community, you are billed according to your individual consumption for the water and sewer. However, if we are not able to receive a read from your meter, the consumption is estimated which is what previously happened on your account. In reviewing your account, I see we did not receive a read from your meter from 03/05/22-12/01/22. Due to this, your usage was estimated. Recently, on 01/01/23, your meter checked in again with your actual consumption and you have been billed for your individual usage for the 03/23, 04/23, and 05/23 statements. On the most recent statement due 05/01/23 for services from 03/01/23-04/01/23, your usage had increased which is why your bill amount was higher than in previous months. Please note the monthly and daily meter reads are available online at www.utilitiesinfo.com for your reference. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any further questions.Review fromJayden J

1 starWe moved into a duplex for student housing. Our bill for this 1800sqft 5-bd house was $800+. I called the city and they said "that's absurdly high. Like 3-4x higher than it should be". Our sewer was over $65/ea (multiplied by the 10 tenants is $650+) and the city said the sewer for the entire duplex should be less than $60 (or ~$6/ea). We called and complained and conveniently, they had "made an error" for every person in our complex. It appears that this isn't uncommon. Does this company actually do anything or do they just sit in the middle, skim money off the top, and hope nobody notices?Hey also, if your phone lines are always "experiencing higher than expected call volumes", then you need to get more customer support. I had to go through my landlord to even contact this company because the phones were never answered.Conservice Utility Management & Billing

****** - I am happy to see you have been in contact with our **************** Team. I am sorry you had trouble getting in contact with us previously. In the future, you can always opt for a callback or reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com for further assistance. In reviewing your account, I see we have confirmed there was an error with the water and sewer amounts on the 04/23 statement for services from 02/03/23-03/01/23. I see credits will be applied to your account to correct this error. I am sorry for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any further questions.Jayden J

While I appreciate your acknowledgment of the error, my account still hasn't received the promised credit. This situation isn't isolated, as numerous reviews and complaints highlight similar overcharging for sewer services, raising concerns about your company's billing practices and transparency. Where do these overcharges go? Your lack of clarity undermines customer trust and questions the legality of your operations. As a service provider, you should address this issue systematically and proactively, rather than waiting for customers to notice and complain. A thorough review of your billing procedures is necessary to maintain customer trust. Furthermore, your inaccessible customer support, constantly "experiencing higher than expected call volumes," is inadequate and needs expansion. Customers shouldn't struggle to reach you for assistance, especially regarding billing errors.Review fromDawn J

**** - I am happy to see you have been in contact with our **************************** To confirm, you are billed according to your individual consumption. In reviewing your account, I see there was an increase in the water consumption on the 04/23 statement for services from 01/17/23-02/15/23 which is what caused an increase in the water charge. Additionally, I see there were two gas charges on the 04/23 statement. As a third-party utility management and billing company, we simply pass on any charges from the local utility providers as they are received. While we were calculating your 04/23 statement we received 2 bills from the gas company for two different service periods from 11/02/22-12/06/22 and 01/06/23-02/06/23.Utilities are typically billed one month at a time, but we have billed for multiple service periods on this statement to ensure there are no unnecessary delays in the service periods being billed. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this caused. You can find ************************************************************************************************************************************* for more information on why this can happen. Please note, all Conservice and provider bill statements are available online at www.utilitiesinfo.com for your reference. 1 starI would give no stars if possible. This is the single worst utility service in the entire country. They dont do what you pay them to do and act on their own accord. Namely their trash service is awful. Moved into a new home on 3/18. There was no receptacle at the home and after being told I had to order one from them (which was a lie) I had to place my bags on the curb. Today I watched as they BLATANTLY drove right past my pickup to my neighbors and when asked about it they did nothing to rectify or even so much as apologize for their error. I implore you if you have the option DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CON ARTISTS. Their namesake is very transparent as to their shady, sorry, worthless business practices.Conservice Utility Management & Billing

******* - I am happy to see you have been in contact with our **************** Team in regards to this. To confirm, as a third-party utility management and billing company, Conservice simply handles the billing for your home. I am sorry for any confusion. In the event of a missed pickup, we advise you contact the trash company directly first to see if they can come back around to collect the trash and/or recycling. If you are unable to receive assistance from them, you can submit a trash request online at www.utilitiesinfo.com and our trash team will follow up. You can find more information about trash requests here: ************************************************************************************************************* In reviewing your account, I see your trash request has been resolved and a courtesy pickup has been scheduled for 04/07/23. The trash company advised leaving your bin curbside until it is serviced. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any additional questions.Review fromEmily M

1 starReceived a bill in Feb 2023 with charges over $100 the normal of $80/month or so. I called in Feb, and the customer service rep stated and explained the overage was to cover the gas portion of the bills for the last 6 months which were not read accurately so it covered the last 6 months that were just estimated and charged a minimum $. He also stated moving forward for March, April, the gas bill will be normal. Next bill received in March 2023 was actually normal. But now received a bill for April 2023 and the bill is over $130 above the normal $80/month or so. What? The customer service in Feb stated it will be normal moving forward for March, April. I am rarely home, rarely use the stove, and never use the oven or the heater. **************** on 3/28/23 tried to explain the overage of April 2023 bill is to cover the past gas bills not charged and moving forward in May, etc it will be normal. What? The same story when I paid the $100 overage on my Feb 2023 statement?!?! I do not buy that story line again for my April 2023 bill! They just told me the same story a month ago for my Feb 2023 bill that was over $100 the normal bill charges after they said it would be normal again moving forward for March, April **************** yesterday 3/28/23 said he would call me back tomorrow, but never heard back from him today. Called and talked to another customer service rep today 3/29/23 and was told by her support team the same story and I cannot talk to any supervisor or management for another ***** hours with a message only to them to call me back! I cannot be on call, I work long days/hours for the next few days! I have been given too many run arounds and I just do not have time for this game on my days off!Conservice Utility Management & Billing

***** - We will follow up on this. I am sorry for any confusion. To clarify, at your community, you are billed according to your individual consumption for the gas services. However, if we are not able to receive a read from your meter, the consumption is estimated which is what previously happened on your account. In reviewing your account, I see the gas charge on the 12/22 statement for services from 09/12/22-10/11/22 was estimated. On the following statement due 01/23 for services from 10/11/22-11/11/22, you were charged based on your actual gas consumption. The next statement due 02/23 for services from 11/11/22-12/12/22, you were charged for your actual consumption but there was a large increase in the usage which is why your charges were increased. The next statement due 03/23 for services from 12/12/22-01/12/23 showed no gas was used. The current statement due 04/23 for services from 01/12/23-02/13/23 shows your actual consumption which is also larger than previous months. Increases in the gas usage are typical around this time of year due to the heating and other gas appliances being used. Please note there is a breakdown of how the gas charges are calculated on the second and third page of each of your Conservice statements. All statements as well as the gas meter reads are available online at www.utilitiesinfo.com for your reference. 1 starThey send me my monthly invoices less than a week before the bill is due. I think this is unacceptable. They should be able to have my monthly invoice ready and sent to me with the amount due with at least two weeks notice before the bill will be due. I have complained multiple times and they are unwilling to make an effort to get my invoice to me earlier.Conservice Utility Management & Billing

1 starSince I moved into the new apartment each month has continued to grow exponentially. ***** went from cents to over 20 dollars to the 40 range alone. trash went from 10s to 20s to now 40s and the same for water. My habits have been conservative and have not fluctuated to increase to such a drastic amount. I even tried to become more conservative to only see bills continue to climb. I never had issue with a utility company until now.Conservice Utility Management & Billing

Salvador - I am happy to see you have been in contact with our **************** Team in regards to this. To confirm, at your community you are not billed according to your individual consumption. You are billed a portion of the overall bill for the communitys water, sewer, and trash services as outlined in your lease. The total sewer and trash amounts are split evenly among each unit. The water amount is split among all residents based on their occupancy. These charges can vary from month to month depending on the total amount received from the local utility providers. Please note, you can find a full description of each of your utilities on the back of your Conservice statement. In reviewing your account, I see your first bill due 01/09/23 was prorated to your move-in date and had a shorter service period from 11/18/22-11/30/22. The following statements have been for a full month of usage which is why they are higher than the first statement.I also see we received an increased bill amount from the local utility providers for all utilities on the 04/03/23 statement which is why your charges have increased on this bill as well. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any further questions.Review fromKaterina U

1 starAs a previous employee, I would HIGHLY recommend seeking a job elsewhere. Since I started at conservice 4/5/21, I have had nothing but issues and disappointment due to lack of leadership, communication, accountability, professionalism, and compassion. Due to being pregnant back to back and having to miss work due to illness and appointments, I had performance issues and was put on a performance plan. From the last two weeks of December to 3/17/22, my plan should have been closed as my rate was above the requirement for the required 12 weeks. I have proof of this. After bringing my findings to my STL Elora and TL *********, they created their own document breakdown showing why I was incorrect. When I asked why the document I was referencing seems to be incorrect (the document is updated daily by leadership) they could not provide me an answer and stated We can take a look and see if it needs to be updated. My current lease is up at the end of March, so I need to move as I will be homeless with two infant daughters. I was told to request 3 states to request a transfer to by *********, as it wasnt fair for TL ********* to submit the request for all 50 states, so I selected ********, Washington, and ******. I was then denied because I am on a improvement plan. When I asked why I was asked to submit the 3 states per STL ****** request, she could not provide an answer and HR ended the meeting. On 3/20 when I clocked in, I discovered my document had been changed to reflect that I was not meeting rate. Again, I have proof. On 3/17 I was required to clock out early due to unapproved overtime. Due to STL Elora and TL ********* changing my rate document, and leaving early as required, they terminated me on 3/20. ********* also tracked my personal computer while I was off of the clock. Per Conservice policy, they are only allowed to do that on company equipment. Due to a vendetta against me, my STL, TL, and HR, knowing I will be homeless with two infants, terminated me.Conservice Utility Management & Billing

1 starFor the 3rd month in a row, since our apartments has moved under new management, Conservice has screwed us again with a $241 water bill. That is absolutely ridiculous! Before Conservice teamed up with ******************* Crossing Apts, our water bill was never over $100! It is only 4 people in our *************** of the day, 3 of those people aren't home due to work and school! I am using water like that during the ********* family is not using water like that in the evening either! This is the worst company our apartments could have ever gone through! Tried to contact them via phone and never get anyone to answer the phone or email! My *********** are so sick and tired of living in a 2 bedroom apartment and our water bill is $241 every month! And the bill is not even a full month! Water and sewer should not be $60 and $70+ a piece! We are getting charged twice for trash which are over $30 a piece! Pest control that we never receive which is an additional $14! I will super happy when I no longer dealing with Conservice, ************** and Eagle Crossing as a whole!Conservice Utility Management & Billing

***** - I am happy to see you have been in contact with our **************** Team in regards to this. To confirm, at Eagle Crossing, you are not billed according to your individual consumption. You are billed a portion of the overall bill sent by the local utility provider for the communitys water and sewer services. This amount is split among all residents based on their occupancy. These charges can vary month to month depending on the total amount received from the water company. In reviewing your account, I see each statement for the utility charges has been for a full month of service. On the most recent bill due 04/01/23, the service period covers services from 01/04/23-02/03/23. I am sorry for any confusion.Additionally, there are two trash charges as one is for regular trash services and the other is for valet trash services. If you are not receiving services such as the pest control or trash services, please follow up with your leasing office directly. They will be able to assist to ensure you are receiving these services going forward. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any further questions.
