      Their sales people straight up lie to about pricing and the company will not honor said prices even though they are in writing. They promote very shady business practices as far as to get a customer under contract then make it extremely hard to cancel. I honestly would never recommend a company that operates the way these guys do and wish I could give less than 1star. Very disappointed.

      We pay extra for Vivint in person customer service. Their customer service is horrible and so time consuming. Our pad by the front door failed and after 60 minutes on the phone it was determined we needed a new pad with tech visit. The appointment was set for 5 days later with an 8 am to 12 pm window. I was told I'd get a call from the tech ahead of time announcing estimated home arrival. No such call was made to me. I called at 8 am and 1030 am to follow on the status. Was told my order was "dispatched". When no one arrived by 1145 am I called back and this time the lady on the line (call centers in ****** and *********** from what I determined at least) said there was no time assigned for today and the situation was active. Each time I call I sense the phone **** struggle with providing answers. Vivint doesn't provide a "reference number" to the customer to make followup easier both ends. I sense some of the **** struggle to provide answers. Meanwhile my appointment was postponed and I have no idea for sure when the Vivint tech will visit. I also get the sense Vivint expects the customers to be "********************** techs" as they seemingly try not to send out techs. The best thing Vivint does is collect the monthly fees. I regret signing up for a Vivint system because of the poor and slow customer service plus their equipment breakdowns. It is a real struggle dealing with Vivint over the phone. Phone staff needs more training and field techs are obviously short staffed.

      Vivint Failed Us When We Needed Them Most Six months after switching to Vivint, my family survived a life-threatening event: a week ago three strangers opened fire into our home, with most hitting my sons room and one passing directly over my mothers head. What Vivint promised as 4K zoom capable of identifying tattoos from across the street turned out to be a complete lie. The system continues to fail while attempting to load critical footage that could have helped detectives identify the suspects or their vehicle.The nightmare didnt end there. **************** showed no urgency, offering meaningless apologies instead of real help as well as providing a false corporate number and another refusing to transfer us to a supervisor. Two technician appointments were canceled without our knowledge and when pressed for answers, we were told the appointments were canceled due to unforeseen urgency. The lack of accountability or even the ability to contact technicians directly added insult to injury. When one finally showed, we were told the equipment was incapable of what we were sold and our 6 month old equipment was probably faulty and needed replaced and that there was nothing else they could help with. Which means, yet another appointment and still no solution.Vivints customer service has been beyond incompetent, leaving my family feeling vulnerable, unsafe, and unsupported after a violent attack on our home.Vivint has failed to provide the basic peace of mind that any family should expect from a security company, let alone one that claims to be a leader in home security. I hope this review serves as a warning to others.

      Worst company and customer service ever! Looks like I am not alone in my experience either... I sold my home, and the person who purchased the home took over my Vivint system, hardware, and account. Everything was verified over the phone and I was told I would no longer be charged. Two months later I am still being charged and so is the current homeowner who took over the system. I called vivint support and was passed around to 7 different people, all saying there is no record of this transfer. I asked to speak to a manager and they just put me on hold in hopes that I would hang up. After calling in several times in hopes to find someone "helpful", I finally spoke to someone who said the new homeowner started a "new account" and didn't take over my account, so I still own the account and the remaining months on the contract... Make that make sense. This is a scam to get you to pay cancellation fees. The customer service **** aren't helpful because they get a percentage of those fees. It's a giant scam and Vivint needs to be held accountable.

      This company is atrocious!!!!! I signed up for the service ************************************************ September. A technician came out and "fixed it." Two weeks later it was broken again! I called and they told me they would have a technician come out in 1 month!!!! This is a security service! I am paying a monthly monitoring fee and $3,000 for equipment that does not work!If you ask to speak to a supervisor - they will put you on terminal ******* NOT use this company! It is criminal!

      Stay FAR away from this security company! The customer service is an absolute waste of time. One of the MANY calls I made to them the ** *** actually told me that the equipment they sell doesn't last longer than a year 2 at max which results in you buying their updated equipment. The app NEVER works, my cameras are always "offline" the chime alert double chimes anytime it goes off. There is a 10 second or so delay in deter on all the cameras. They basically lock you in with them, set the equipment up and leave you to figure any issues out yourself. Go with someone else if you are wanting a security company.

      They harass there customers. They need shutdown. Call and call even when they have a credit in there balance! One star is too much. Don't recommend. **************** *****.

      Frustrating Experience with Vivint I had a very disappointing experience with Vivint that I feel compelled to share. After moving out of my home, I contacted Vivint to cancel my service, expecting a straightforward process. Instead, I was met with resistance and frustrating delays.Despite my clear communication about my situation, the customer service representatives were unhelpful and often transferred me to different departments, each one less accommodating than the last. I was told I would need to provide excessive documentation to process the cancellation, which felt unnecessary and ***************** make matters worse, Ive been charged for services that Im not using and was reassured multiple times that I would be reimbursed for those charges, but weeks have gone by with no resolution. It feels like they prioritize profit over customer satisfaction.I strongly urge anyone considering Vivint to think twice. The lack of support and transparency has left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. Its disappointing that a company would make it this difficult to end services, especially when life circumstances change.

      Please stop pushing additional products to customers when they call for customer service. It is extremely annoying and a waste of my time.
