      I purchased a Vivint Security back in 2021/2022, paid off all equipment and sold the house that the system was attached to in 05/2023. New home owners reached out to Vivint and the Vivint tech informed the new home owners that I would need to call in proceed with a turn over / cancellation so that they could take over the system. I reached out to Vivint and did everything that was requested of me and was told everything was good to go. Purchased a new home on 07/2023 and had a new Vivint Security system installed, I did not pay attention to my credit card statement as closely as I should have, I was still being charged for the original system that I bought in 2021/2022, credit card expired and I started to get an email about account past due. Reached out to Vivint and it was determined that the original system was still in my name, the turn over / cancellation that I did in 05/2023 did not go through. I have been calling Vivint for the past 3 months and get told different things, I have asked for recordings of the phone conversation back in May of 2023 and have not received them yet. The loyalty department is a joke, I have been told by several different Vivint Loyalty Specialist that I can not cancel the original contract because it has a balance and several others have told me that they but in a request to merge my accounts and refund me money paid for the service that was suppose to be canceled out back in May 2023. Vivint does not follow up with what they promise the customer and they are never wrong, it is always the customer's fault is what i have determined.Some of the Vivint Specialist are great and some of them are just robots that repeat the same thing over and over. When I inquired about the decisions from higher above's, the robot specialist can only tell me that the request would be kicked back immediately. Why would a specialist tell me to call back in 3-5 days to see what the verdict is? Should I have received an email?

      I've been trying to cancel service for 3 months now. I've followed all the steps with a written notice. Told everything was done correctly and they still have not stopped my service. Worst company I've ever dealt with

      We were lied to by the sales *** when we originally signed up for the service. We were told that the service contract was for one year when in reality it was for 2 and we didn't find that out until we called in to cancel the service because we had to relocate out of state. We were told that the service was canceled on their end and now here it is almost a year and a half later and we received a bill from them. I call into customer service and was told that the service was not canceled and its pending cancellation due to an early termination fee. Now between July 2023 and now, we've received no bills from Vivint. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told that if I want to speak with someone else I need to call back. This company is joke and I wish we would have made a better decision when it came to choosing a home security company.

      We had used Vivint for 8 years , we switched cameras because we got a sales call from Vivint . Since the begging the installation was a disaster, they damaged my walls and left garbage all over the place . We had issues with the new system from the beginning we have made numerous calls and they have sent technicians we no luck , we have asked them that we want our old system back and they refused .We are still paying for the equipment and we cant terminate our service with them because we will have to pay then at once and we cant affort it. I will a write a letter to the CEO . Stay away from this company !!!

      Dont go for Vivint. If you go then you will fall into a trap. I cant get out of the service until I pay the products purchased loan amount. There are so many options in the market which are better than Vivint. As soon as I pay the amount, Im getting out of Vivint services and will never recommend any Vivint products or services. Learnt my *******

      I have never been so ashamed of a purchase as this. The equipment is way overpriced and the sales people, as almost everyone has mentioned, are extremely dubious in their tactics. I was told at least 5 lies in their pitch, but you know, no way to prove that and they got my sig! (One lie that was particularly aggravating was the claim that the equipment would be repaired and/or upgraded during the period of the agreement, I quickly found out this was completely false, but was nonetheless offered some products! I was also told that they would reinstall the equipment in another home if I moved, which I doubt is true - these were both selling points that made the cost seem a bit more justifiable).At this point I'm just contributing to the Blackrock vacuum until this ridiculous contract is over, and the founder succeeded with his little scam and gets to sit on his mound. So happy to have the opportunity to support his prosperity!On a brighter note, I was able to send a blurry video to the cops once, no updates on that.... its funny that their business model is based on fearing our neighbors when they're clearly the real threat to our well-being. If only I were a genius like them.

      Vivint used to be really good that Id brag about how good they were. I dont know what happened to them over the years. Vivint might say I need to upgrade. I beg to differ. My biggest problems with them is that they dont record footage more than I can count. What the heck am I paying them for. Its bad when I cannot see a recording some days of my pool guys who comes on the same day every week or the lawn guys or just simply capturing someone going out the gate. Theres also the issue with uploading to see footage thats not there. The service is crap! Im just asking you (Vivint) to do what youre getting paid for because Im ready to kick your sorry business to the curb!

      Equipment has sharp contrast, customer service is non existent, 1/3 cameras hasnt worked since July.keep being told to troubleshoot online, still doesnt work. Paid for premium service and now Im being told I still have a deductible for a tech to come out.after I was advised I pay this monthly fee, it doesnt existdont recommend this company.

      Worst company ever! Stay Away! I needed to return window sensors that would not fit in the windows. It took 1.5 months of dealing with them to get a return label issued and emailed to me. I sent the sensors back, and they received them via ***** and signed for them. So I wait. No refund. I called/Chat and they need to reverse the invoice on their side before they can issue a refund. Seriously? So now I have to wait another week to see if I get it. Also, all they do when there is a problem, and I have had them with cameras, sensors, and the control panel is to send a technician out (at my expense). But their main focus is to upsell me on additional items without resolving my issues. There are lots of other companies out there to choose from. I wish I had chosen another one. I wouldn't give them any stars, but you must leave at least one.
