      Signed with vivint june 2021. I was kinda pressed to install security due to need to work out of town and they were in my neighborhood at the time. 3 cams cost me over 2k but at the time i wanted to get it done.The hardware was marginal with cameras going off and online inexplicably. Had to reset the doorbell camera twice by opening it up, fortunately i had the correct tool they don't provide.I relocated this November called to cancel had to pay off the hardware loan first. At that time they did not tell me about a requirement buried in the tiny fine print so i hung up thinking i was done until being billed 12/1. Now they tell me i should have sent cancellation notice 30 days in advance so i will be paying 2 months for monitoring property i no longer live at. Only they did disable the monitoring so I am paying for nothing.

      Do not deserve one star! Ive had service with them over a year! I set up auto pay but ut never worked, they wait 4 months and then charge the entire amount at one time!! I tried to cancel service but they refused to cancel service and come get the equipment!!! Every person you speak with gives you a different story!! I just want to cancel this service and not have to deal with them at all!

      Incompetent workers who do not know what they are doing and just transfer you to someone else so they can be rid of you. Good luck trying to cancel your account after your contract is up!

      Vivint absolutely *****! Ive only had them for 4 months and I have literally had to call them every-single-week and often times 2 -3 times/week for the same issue because the cameras are ALWAYS offline. This is by far the absolute worst security system I have ever had! Literally right at this very moment I have two cameras offline and I just called 4 days ago about this. The technician worked on the line for a while, and then said he would call me back in a few moments, and he never did! That has happened to me twice, in fact! Every time I turn around, the cameras are offline. Im basically giving Vivint money for nothing. They absolutely **** and always have the nerve to ask me to refer them to family and friends. Oh please! If I could give them zero stars, I would.

      Vivint is garbage. The tech told us there was no contract and that's the reason we signed up, we moved to a new house and tried to cancel just to find out we somehow had a 6 year contract. **************** has been horrible, they even charged us ************************************ the new house. Everything we were told was a lie. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

      This is horrible company. I got there service a week ago. I have not be able to use my garage door opener. I have called them several time to get someone out. Every day that I talk to someone they tell me that they schedule someone. But when I called back the next day they don't. I tried to cancel the service last night but they told me they won't. They are scam do not go through them for nothing. I love the system it self. But the customer service is terrible. They garage door opener isn't there product either. I will definitely be calling the corporate office as well.

      I was deceived by the salesman. He told me I can try the service for 30 days. I can cancel, I called and tried to cancel within that time frame. **************** told that I only had three days but salesman lied. Now I'm stuck with this bull on my credit. They was supposed to send out a technician he never came. Now I'm stuck with a ducking bill over ****, I don't want this equipment come and get this c*** They are very deceitful. I want this off my credit. System didn't work but a couple days. BAD SERVICE WILL NOT RECOMMENDED THIS TO ANYONE ELSE..

      I wish I never went with this company. It has been such a hassle. From cameras going off line to ***** to get them fixed it's a constant issue. When I called to see what I would have to do to get my service canceled, the rep just kept referring back to the contract, which I knew nothing about. She had no concern about the fact that my cameras going offline constantly was to me a safety concern. Then when I asked to speak to a superviso, her reply was you want to speak to a supervisor. Really... 10 minutes later I was able to speak with some. They refuse to cancel with a open line of credit. They are absolutely awful. The supervisor *** was absolutely no help and they flat out refused to help. There answer was oh well your stuck.

      Based off of my security system that was installed last year at my **************, ** home, I referred my sister to install the system to our parents home in ********. To receive a referral credit, I specifically gave them my referral number and ask them to install the same system. To my surprise, after couple of months later, I find out that the doorbell camera they installed at my parent's home was an old camera. I kept getting told by the service tech and the technician that we need to upgrade the camera. I was so frustrated and upset to find out that my parents installation that took place this year had an old doorbell camera. When I complained that they should install the most updated version, no one had an answer for me to why an old camera was installed. With no luck, Vivint will not install the updated version and keeps insisting that I pay for the upgrade. I told them absolutely not. We will not pay for an upgrade when the new camera should've been installed to begin with. Especially if my system was installed back in Jul 2021 and my parent's home was installed in Jan 2022, why would they have an old camera installed? Would not recommend due to the fact they will install an older camera version and expect you to upgrade less than a year. And to get anyone to help you, as everyone mentioned, you need to go through so many channels just to be connected with "customer loyalty" *****
