      The only thing good about this company was Luis. I too was lied to by the sales rep, even after the installer got to my house, we had to get back on the phone, pull the recorded call to get the panel I was promised. However, once we got the bill, surprise surprise, there was no discount and they now conveniently can't find any record of the conversation that I was promised the panel for free. It's a great thing Luis my installer witnessed everything because he is helping me hopefully get it worked out. I am so dissatisfied with this company...use ring or ADT or even nothing would end up being better than this company!

      When I called to cancel service today. I was on the phone for over an hour. The representative Maguire C**** was only doing his job he was hired to do,, he tried offering me a lower price which come to find out is the price they offer today on their website . I never purchased their equipment due to it was given to me the rep I called months ago told me I could cancel after one year. I was transferred to a new rep Jolisa ..which I had to go thru all the same verification steps and her trying to get me not to cancel.. I stated I do not want your services .. I was put on hold again.. and when she came back on the call she proceeds to tell me I needed to email the. With a cancellation letter… when all they had to do is tell me that in the first place. Do not sign up with Vivint due to their horrible customer service and deceptive practices. My equipment hasn’t worked correctly either .. door lock doesn’t always work .. It is old system as one of their employees told me, so it is not worth the price they charge. So glad I never had to buy it .. it was given to me…

      Scammers. The company refused to honor buying me out of my contract with another company after they said they would. I felt like something wasnt right because they never asked for my information from the other security company. Charging thousands of dollars for cameras, no monitoring inside my home ie fire and carbon monoxide detectors and not sensors on my windows or doors. The sales rep did not add all my home security and my door lock never worked. He apologized and said he would get on it and never did. The customer services is horrible. I will never ever use this company again

      Called for a doorbell camera bring out among other things, scheduled an appointment. They called me the day of the appointment saying they dont have a technician for that day to come fix the problem. Lady didnt seem to care that half the system wasnt working. Rescheduled for another day which was 3 weeks away. Technician comes(*****) from ******** **/Al area and pretty much starts telling me Im a lier and there is nothing wrong with the system because its not on the pad. And people do it all the time just to get discounts. Showed him where the system went off in the middle of the night for no reason then it was well maybe its someone who is a lover or something trying to sneak in, pretty much accusing me or my husband to have affairs. That didnt work he turned around saying maybe your teenager is sneaking out and messing with the system. My home is pretty much a h*** house with my children sneaking out all night and I just lie about the system to get a discount. I told him to fix the system Im paying s*** ton of money for and get out. So good luck of you get technician ***** get your children and h*** house together. Never again. Biggest mistake we ever did to go with that company

      Literally the absolute WORST company to deal with. My equipment has never worked. We moved almost a year ago and they have continued to charge me every month. We have called and emailed relentlessly and they always disconnect the call just before it can be canceled. Just get a ring! Do not ever do business with them!!

      I have been on and off the phone with Vivint customer support for over a month now. I get hung up on, "transferred" but put back in the holding queue or put on hold until business hours close and hung up on. It is very frustrating. Currently, I'm trying to cancel my service. I spoke to someone in the cancellation department on 7/5. He told me how much I would have to pay in order to cancel my membership, but said I had to wait for a refund to be processed first before doing so. Never said anything else about any process. Today, I spoke to someone who wanted me to authorize a charge and then call me back to cancel because they were too busy to do it now. After speaking to supervisors, they were able to "start my cancellation."What does that mean? It means that I have to send an email (which I did right after the call) to cancel my membership. And they have 30 days to do it. And if my bill date falls within that 30 days - THEY ARE GOING TO CHARGE ME. I just paid the cancellation fee for the months I haven't fulfilled on my contract. And they are going to charge me again but then refund me a "pro-rated rate" if they can't cancel it in time. The whole thing is a scam, I was told NOTHING about an email until I authorized a charge. And now I could get charged again. I regret signing up. I will NEVER use Vivint services again and I will tell everyone I know to stay clear. You are better off going to *********** buying yourself a Ring Doorbell and calling it a day. If 0 stars was an option, I would do it.

      SCAM! From the beginning Sales Man Shahram said everything was compatible and that was a lie. We have been having Issues from the beginning several techs came out and the issues still hasn't been resolved. The tech said there is nothing else that can be done. We can't disarm from our panel we have upgraded our internet spent money on a electrician because Vivint tech telling me thats the problem which electrician says our electric is good. We want our contract canceled and not responsible for the equipment as well. Vivint rep told my wife they can't cancel till equipment is paid off but the issue is there equipment. How are we responsible for the contract and equipment if we are not able to use our alarm system as we should. They are getting there monthly payment like clock work but we are not getting our service that we pay for. We need Vivint to acknowledge they have faulty equipment and there stuff is not compatible with others and stop lying to customers if I would of known I would've stayed with ADT.

      Stay away from VIVINT. They have well trained sales reps that close the sale with empty promises. The other part of this service is the credit line for the equipment that is pretty much outdated. You end up owing like $3000 for two cameras and the control center which is not worth it its probably about four $500 in total the other thing I found out I try to cancel my service with Vivint and you cant cancel service until you pay off the equipment, this is crazy these people hold you hostage until you pay your credit line. Bunch of thieves stay away save your money.

      This company came out and removed the old system leaving a gapping hole in the wall. The system started beeping on day two. I had an appointment with Technical Josh and he never showed up. The sensors are bad on the equipment. I am very disappointed in this company. They use android instead of making it a personal experience.

      I think Vivint needs to conduct some serious classes for their door-to-door sales people. I always try to be kind to sales people, because I know they are doing a job. The one guy was just down right obnoxious and rude, and I now think he was doing it on purpose after a while just because I wasn't biting the bait. I tried to be as cordial as possible, but he just wasn't having it. I had a special needs child to get back to, and told him as much, and he just didn't give a **** He kept rattling on, making weird faces at me, until I had to tell him about himself. That guy was definitely bad business for Vivint. If I ever need that sort of product, Vivint will NOT be getting my business.
