I was recommended their service to reduce my property tax obligation on a residential lot I purchased. After I had completed information on their website, I called the agency and spoke to a representative. Based on the verbal information provided, I emailed them to try to cancel the service. I then received emails asking for information to process the request, to which I responded to say I wanted to cancel the service. They did not respond to my request to cancel and continued to ask for further information, I repeated my request to cancel. I then got a bill for the base service, $59.83 and my property tax responsibility doubled. I contact them by phone and email disputing the charge since I received no service and they did nothing to reduce my tax responsibility. They denied responsibility and said if I did not pay the bill, late fees would be imposed and it would be turned over to a collection agency. I regret every contacting this business, and would say all consumers should be ware of this business. They are not helpful to consumers. I also find it crazy that on Five Stones Tax Advisors Website they brag of awards received from the Better Business Bureau and the Austin Chamber of Commerce. I have emailed both agencies with no response. Who are you guys protecting the consumer or businesses?
