Keeping Kids Safe Online

BBB is proud to present a dual program called Keeping Kids Safe Online, featuring our Parents Program (What You Don’t Know Can Hurt Your Kids) and our Kids Program (All Up in Your Business). The internet offers a world of opportunities. People of all ages share photos and videos, build online profiles, text each other and create alter egos in the form of online avatars. For children, especially, these ways of socializing and communicating can be fulfilling, and yet, they come with risks. This presentation covers what parents need to know to help protect their children and reduce the risks by talking to your kids about how they communicate – online and off – and encouraging them to engage in conduct they can be proud of.

In order to reduce the number of military personnel falling victim to these predatory practices, BBB Military Line uses both Web-based resources and local BBB outreach within the Continental United States. BBB offers an array of interactive and engaging Financial Workshops.
