1 starFailed to honor contract services, We were mislead about the services - feel we were overcharged. Appointments scheduled and not kept - no phone call to advise that they weren't coming - another appointment set without our being advised. Only found out when inquiring about the first scheduled appointment.We were told that insulation in our attic would prevent future termiites. Ultimately found out that that was not true.Our contract specifies that they would come each year to fumigate area where termites were seen. They came and did nothing - just looked around and did not fumigate where we advised them where the swarming termites were observed by **. They should have fumigated, and they said they don't do that! That's not what we signed for. We feel that we should be refunded $388.40 for the future fumigation protection we never received and paid for in advance.Terminix

1 starI cant stand these liars at Terminix. They cant even show up on appointments that THEY schedule. You wouldnt believe how much of my time theyve wasted.. having me miss work and leaving work early for appointments they cant even show up to or have the decency to call and let me know they are not coming after all. Terminix is a BS service that keeps giving me the run around. You are better off saving your money from a company that doesnt know how to operate. Look for a more reliable service cause Terminix doesnt even come close. Show me a petition to shut down this mediocre company and Ill have thousands of signatures, I promise you. How they are still operating is beyond me, it just doesnt seem legal at this point. Sincerely, Highly Unsatisfied Customer. Zero Stars.Terminix

1 starTerrible customer service. I scheduled for an inspection a week ago for today between 5 and 7pm. The tech called me last night asking to come earlier so I agreed to a couple hours earlier. I got home at 230 and the tech had already come and left his card. I called multiple times today before he was supposed to come and left a message on when I would be there and I tried calling again after he had gone and he never answered the phone. I called customer service because he was the one to reschedule and then did not come at the correct time. They basically said tough luck. Now I'm stuck trying to get an inspection on a Friday evening after waiting a week for this one. I have to move out of my house until this is fixed. If I had known they would cancel I would have gone with a different company from the beginning. I should have checked reviews before scheduling anything with them.Terminix

1 starThis company is AWFUL!!!! Please DO NOT use them! Signed a contract for $1600 for exclusion of mice in our house. Came the initial visit, put this foam c*** aroung my garage, looked terrible. Made them come back & put new seals on my garage doors that was in my contract. Set bait traps in my basement, which seemed to help. Started seeing mice again, called them back out. Tech that came out had no clue!! Didnt have the tool to open the boxes, pried them open with a screwdriver, then proceeded to tell me he had no bait to fill them. Was supposed to have someone come do an annual inspection, never showed! Sent 2 more techs out after I explained I wanted my bait stations filled. That is when I was told thry don't use them anymore. They wanted to put glue traps in my home! I told them no, I didnt pay $1600 for glue traps!! Told the last tech to get his boss on the phone! I proceeded to tell him I dont want those around my basement as I have grandkids playing down there. He laughed at me & hung up! (*******************) so-called manager at ***********, **. Called into speak to someone above him and was put on hold forever! Still have no resolution! Going to ask for my money back for breach of contract. Notifying the Attorney General to see what I can do!Terminix

1 starIve had squirrels between the floors of my home for sometime. On 4/19 someone came out for the initial visit and sent a tech on 4/21. I had to call them out for trap that had been tripped. They found another hole and on 5/4 they sent one out to bar it up. I called 5/4 and 5/5 to let them know there was still squirrels up there, like they told me to do. They have not been out since. Ive called nine times and explained the situation. *** been told repeatedly they would send someone. I asked for a supervisor. She left messages for two supervisors and two managers. I have been lied to every time I call. No one has helped me. No one has done what I was told they would do. I want my $1700. Refunded. ***********************Terminix

1 starI used **************** for 1 year. after one year I cancel their service but they keep charging me $65 dollars for bait station they didnt not remove. they told me theyll keep charging me until they able to remove the bait station. this is not my responsibility to remove the bait. even though I cancel their service, I gave them a month notice. Still they keep charging me. The lady was so rude. She told me you keep getting charged until you find somebody to remove your bait station for termite. I dont understand what kind of policy is this if you dont find somebody to remove your own product how Im getting charge.Terminix

1 starIf I could go back and not use them I would..I thought they were the best in the field but now im.in a yr contract for a useless service. They have come out 4 times one of those including the second billing cycle and I still have a s many bugs as I did when they started yet the come out and say they do t see anything on there assessment. I do not recommend them.Terminix

1 starIts very disheartening when you pay for a service in full and yet the service paid for is still not complete/fixed. Last year 2022 I paid for terminix to treat my home for termites and all seem to be well until April 2023 when the year of contract was over with monthly payments if you would like to continue with services. In April 2023 when the termites were visible in my home I called back for assistance and the lack of urgency to treat the matter was sadden. I reached out to speak with a manager and as of now Im still waiting. I felt the need to write this review in the hopes that someone will finally reach out to me to fix what I paid for.Review fromAl B

1 starTheir service is terrible. Have mad over 4 calls to get inside spraying and "critters" eliminated. Representatives come out, run around the house, and take off. This is a clear violation of their contractoral responsibility. They have so many different divisions everytime someone comes out about an issue you are having, they tell you they can't do it you need to contact another department. When you call in to get help you always end up with the same people taht aren't doing the job. It appears that they are all individual franchises that the corporation doesn't want to be held accountable for.Terminix

1 starIf I could leave a negative number I would. I paid for the service, for two years (see notes below about this scam), and that's the end of their attention to you. I have spent more time on the phone in two years than they did at my house, which id like to say ** an exaggeration though it's not. I had to chase them down on the phone for over three months trying to get a follow up for the first service they actually performed.List of other "infractions":- did not perform any of the services that sales person said would be needed that was the reason for a higher cost of service contract (turned out to be that if was a two year contract, which was not explained) - flashing around entire perimeter of house (only one small piece of flashing put in a few months ago which was the last service call performed) - sealing of all holes in attic - trimming back trees and shrubbery near house (thought that was exceptional though that's what salesman said)- left traps in attic for over six months, not an exaggeration - not showing up for service calls - no notification for not showing up - no follow-up for no show to reschedule - supposed "escalation" to manager who doesn't call - no follow-up for traps set in attic for over four months, six months - emails for trying to sell more services while none regarding services not rendered - attempting to extract more money for service that should have been performed (removal of traps from attic)- calls to follow-up made to me on Saturdays, after being told that, due to religious observance, I'm not available (just to get able to say that they called). When I called back it takes another 48 hours for their return call.- did not follow up in any way or ever perform a damage inspection that regular service tech said they'd due to activity heard of creatures gnawing in attic near new hvac - didn't inform me of service call scheduled. Found out when I called back to find out when they were going to schedule service.Terminix
