1 starWe spoke with a salesperson who visited our house, and spoke about the treatment that would be conducted for bed bugs.The salesperson stated that the entire house would be treated by extensive steam cleaning, spraying of chemical products, application of powder, traps would be placed in every room, and that mattress covers would be provided during the 3 step process.During the first treatment, the Terminix Specialist stated that the salesperson intentionally lied about the services we would receive in order to procure our business. The specialist informed us that we in fact would not receive any steam cleaning and he did not apply any chemical powders. He did apply liquid chemicals, told us to call and schedule a second appointment and then left.The specialist for the second treatment placed a mattress cover on a bed and told us we would not be receiving any traps because he used all of them.Up to this point, the services we have received (based on the services we were told we would matter of fact receive) have been grossly misrepresented.I'm contemplating consulting an attorney in regards to this matter. I will be sharing my experience with all of my family and friends.Terminix

1 starWorking with this company has been the worst experience. We are currently under contract with them for termite protection and needed an additional form to submit to our mortgage company. After having spent an initial $1800 to start the plan and a monthly fee of $89 dollars, they want an additional $200 for the form. That would be fine if we could ever get a technician on site to complete the inspection. We have been trying to get someone to our property since 6/12 with the technicians making excuses about why they can't make it. Terrible customer service. Don't EVER do business with this company. Less than 0 should be the rating.Terminix

1 starThey have always been reliable untill last few years. They have missed appts or left note on my door saying they were here but never knocked on my door. This year they called me said they came and saw termite activity. They established apt then no showed it. Today they show up, go to my attic and tell me no termites but there is sapping which could destroy my home. They offer me some kind of cooling system for ****. I told him I have no money and I am in the middle of a sewer replacement that is costing me everything I have. When he begins to leave I asked him why I am not getting a full home inspection when they called me and told me I needed one. He said he was authorized to check attic and left. If I have read this post myself I would never believe it. Terminex a company I pay **************************************************************************** a cooling system.Terminix

1 starDeserves zero stars. Absolute SCAM, fraud, overcharge of services never rendered and absolutely awful communication IF you can even get a hold of a real person. Terminex should be ashamed of pushing their clients to use SMAC finance. Do NOT fall for it.Terminix

1 starOverall, I experienced horrible customer service from Mr. ****** and Mr. ******** The service technicians failed to install adequate insulation in the attic and no barriers were placed around the recess light fixtures before applying the insulation. It turn, this created a fire hazard and the insulation had to be removed and reapplied by another company. During the installation, they created a nail pop in my ceiling. I was informed that a contractor would handle the repairs. Instead, I was offered a $250 credit for the ceiling damage, $800 for lack of insulation, and $100 for inconvenience. My account was only credited $800 for a bill resulting over $4600. The customer service representatives were helpful but each time I call and escalated my case, their notes were deliberately removed from the system and I would have to explain the situation over and over. This was a year long ordeal. I have never received a call from corporate or the finance department. Oh, not to mention I originally called for a wild life removal on a Monday. The technician arrived and was at my house for 1-2 hours installing a one way door and traps in the attic. Afterward, he informed me that another technician would be out on Wednesday, to remove everything during my attic installation. Turns out, there was not traps, no one way door, and the animal nest/insects were still present. By far the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with regarding customer service.Terminix

1 starOne of the most deceptive and unethical company I have ever encountered. I would not recommend them to anyone. No star.After they charge, they subcontract and provided incomplete and ineffective heat service for termites, which caused damage to my blinds, and they refuse to do a reinspection to complete the job and repairs. After numerous phone calls, emails, and text messages, the manager ***** called and assured me by phone and in text communication that he would resolve the matter by removing the charges and cancel my contract as requested. However, its yet to be done since I'm still receiving bills from their finance company SMAC for service I haven't yet received, and still waiting for someone to follow up with me. It has been stressful and difficult to resolve these issues with Terminix before their finance company SMAC ruin my perfect credit. My hope is that customer BEWARE before signing any contract when doing business with them and their finance company SMAC.Terminix

1 starI called for a onetime service and when they showed up I was told it was a 1 year contract When I called customer service to have them correct their mistake I was told i could cancel my contract for a fee of $1800. Do not use this scammer company.Terminix

1 starWe was put into a year contract without our knowledge and now are told we can't cancel it. The guy who showed up for the initial treatment did a poor job. He didn't want to do all of the treatment. We had to call again for additional service. The guy was over 2 hours late with no explanation. Called again for service but haven't heard from them. We will never recommend this company to anyone.Terminix

1 starI had 2 different service techs come out 3 different times and they did an initial inspection and this lasted for about a month and a half and they never caught a mouse. The mouse kept pooping on my counter top so they were still there. The techs gave me traps and told me to set them up and left and still NO success! I got my own traps and set them up and caught the mouse in a day and have had no problems since! I am now out a ridiculous amount of $646.80 for them doing absolutely NOTHING! The worst company I have ever dealt with! I called and complained 4 times and they kept saying they would call me back within 48 hours and I never got a response! I would like my money back immediately and someone to contact me back immediately! Write me back and I will provide a private message with my phone number! This is not how you do business, hence why there are so many complaints on this site! Ridiculous! I wouldve given you 0 stars, but that was not an option, hence the 1 star rating for no results or communication! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY EVER!Terminix

1 starOn two separate occasions (both appointments made by Terminix operators) after driving over 2 hours, and waiting through the entire time window, Terminix was a NO SHOW. I confirmed the appointment, and No call, no text message. After the first No Show, I was done, After reviewing my options, decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. What I do know is, this business model WILL FAIL in time. Hopefully sooner than later! Its rigged. You cant leave zero stars!Terminix
