      We have a contract (*******) with Terminix for support year round for drywood termites, however we can no longer get someone out to treat for potential active termites. Weve call 4 times over the past month and were told each time someone will call back in ***** hours. We have yet to receive one call back. On our third attempt Terminix setup an appointment to have someone come out, but when the person arrived they said they were not a termite treatment person and they said they would put in a ticket to get a termite person out, but still no one has come out. On the fourth attempt we were again told someone would call to schedule an appointment but we still havent received a call. This wasnt an issue until 2024. We use to have a specific person to contact and theyd come out within a few days, but we no longer have a contact person and Terminix cant seem to get anyone out either.

      **** #******** I would not recommend Terminix. I have been a customer for many years The staff is very good about showing up the 1st time all appear very competent, then there is no follow up or return calls or they fail to show up at all for scheduled appts. 12/2024 your Exclusion Specialist came to my house to check all traps in my basement, replaced food as needed and to clear dead mice if any. We scheduled an appt for 2 weeks for his return. I realized after he left that I had a conflict for that appt and left many messages to reschedule but never recd a call back. My neighbor told me someone from Terminix did show. I again left messages that there were dead mice in my basement and still no response!! I called the call center the week of 1/8 and told them I needed someone to come to my house that week. They called me to tell me they scheduled 1/16 which I told them was unacceptable and asked them to reschedule they never called me back. 1/16 I received a call from one of your reps (could not understand his name). He told me that he could not keep the appts due to the bad weather (so apparently the call center never took the date off the calendar) but he would reschedule. He rescheduled for Sat 1/20 between 8-10 AND NEVER SHOWED UP. STILL NO CALL!!!!!!I still had dead mice in my basement, so I had to have my son come over to dispose of them so as far as I am concerned your service is of NO VALUE!!!!!! And the money I was spending $225/year for renewal is useless!!!!!!I then contacted ********************** *** said she would forward my complaint to the Branch Mgr. Several weeks later, I received a cancellation via email with no explanation attached. I called back the call center and was told that the Branch Mgr **** Hand in Woburn denied it since no prorations are allowed. Great customer service **********************. You would think he would have contacted me and offered to send a rep, but apparently customer relations not very high on his list.

      This company is a rip off. I paid $139.00 to have them begin the process of getting rid of mice in my home. They put down some glue traps and some other traps and said they would return in a week. Two weeks later no one called nor returned to check the traps. I guess they were waiting on me to pay the $900.00 plus they quoted me and the additional $3000.00 to clean the attic. I cancelled the plan and told them the reason and they stated they wouldn't reimburse me any of the money. Rip off. Do not go with this company. They want big money for no work.

      $1,496 MISTAKE. I started my service with Terminix under a package deal. Terminix charged me for two separate services each month in the 8 months or so that I had their service. They, despite several requests to fix the billing error, never did follow through. I paid for an exclusion of over a thousand dollars, but the team missed three major and obvious entry points for rodents which I was able to spot and climbed onto my roof and bought materials to fix. I take clients at my home, so I have to schedule around my clients. There is no way to reliably reach a home office near me so I had to schedule through the call center. When scheduling appointments through the call center appointments would be missed, they would send out the wrong technician, the technician at one point did not bring a ladder and was "not allowed" to use mine to complete the service. First when I tried to cancel they told me they would charge me for the rest of the policy, I was escalated to customer care who said they would not charge me for cancellation. The month that I called to cancel service they did not complete the cancellation properly in the system and I was charged a $****** reinstatement fee. When I called and disputed the charge they escalated me to a customer care representative who apologized for my experience promised a refund and that there would be no cancellation fee or further charges. That was 4 months ago. I am still receiving attempts to collect on my December bill. The ****** charge has not been refunded. The case was reviewed, without reviewing the phone call where I was promised a refund and no further charges. This is at least my fourth attempt to resolve this billing error. and there has been no honest effort to honor the agreement made in my call with customer care. If a customer calls to cancel service there should be NO REINSTATEMENT FEE. If you charge a fee for a service that has been discontinued and the customer catches it within 14 days you REFUND the fee.

      **************** Giving this company one star is being very generous. It does not even deserve that. For the last four months I have been trying to get a refund check but all I get is the run around. One check was received but I am still due an additional refund check for $194.85. Five different agents have sent requests for the check to be issued and also for a manager to call me. These requests were sent by ****** on 1/11/24, ****** on 2/13/24, **** on 2/21/24, ****** on 3/4/24, and ***** on 3/14/24. The refund check still has not been issued and no manager has ever taken the time to call me regarding this matter. This has been the most horrendous and time-consuming experience I have ever had. Management is the absolute worst. I would never recommend this company to anyone. They don't mind taking your money but good luck trying to get any refund that's due.

      Terminix is a nightmare company! They sent a debt collector for a service they failed to provide. I tried to get help from managers *************************, *********************, and *************************, but they offered no support. It's clear they are only interested in taking your money. Managers just dropped the ball and ignored further calls and texts.

      Do not use them unless you like getting lied to, either no visits or surprise unannounced visits, and lack of communication from a large company you thought would be able to handle it. The sales guy showed us where we had three types of large animals in the attic and said they would put live traps up, then seal and clean - the tech only put 3 small mice traps and sealed everything on the first visit, leaving a wounded animal up there to die and rot. Once they removed it because the smell was so terrible,THEN they put a live trap up! We have called the manager and corporate multiple times, and no resolution besides corporate's standard answer of "we've left a message for a manager to call you back". At least the customer service agents have been smart enough to know that they needed to escalate the call... Too bad the managers don't know how to use the phone. We had high hopes in the exclusion agreement with having them as ************ services for a long time - unfortunately ALL services have had to be cancelled and we will NEVER be recommending them.

      The inspector for Terminix came to do an inspection. In his report he stated damage was found at the entry door frame and that he found physical evidence of termites. The door frame was completely replaced just days before and the structure is a concrete block building. He did not look at any wood that the structure has. Did not look into the attic and claims there is an infestation with out even seeing termites in the building. He recommended a full building treatment without finding termites. It's clear they are only interested in making money.

      For the 2nd year in a row, Terminix has screwed up my Termite inspection appointment - and this has happened on other occasions - I don't know why they can't give me an appointment time and stick to it. Seems like I have a scheduling issue with them every year - they often just e-mail me a date without checking with me, which is not convenient, and I have to change it. Usually they get it right after that, but not always. Last year I just gave up and didn't even schedule another time. They were supposed to come today, and I had been assured by phone less than a month ago that someone would definitely be here today. But when they didn't show up, I called to see if they would be coming later today - I don't block off a 2-hour block on my calendar just to sit around and wait for nobody to show up I was told that they had March 25 afternoon as my appointment day. This was definitely not the day I had scheduled, but my schedule is clear that afternoon, so I guess I'll sit and wait again. I think I've had their termite service for around 40 years. Not pleased.
