1 starWhen I made my last payment on September 14, 2022 (paid confirmation number: 38777096-9), I canceled the service with Terminix due to bad service and not fulfilling the request to come to remove the insects in our basement and ********* took a half-day off to wait for the service technician to arrive. No one showed up and no one called. I called again and complained about my dissatisfaction and made another appointment a couple of weeks later on. Same thing happened. I took another half-day off to wait for the service technician, but no one came. Termini bombarded me with the phone call, emails and the same Late Notice letter. again and again. I paid my final bill on September 14, 2022 and cancelled the account.On September 15, the next day, I received the text on my cell phone regarding cancellations survey. So, I completed the survey with detailed information of my dissatisfaction with the TERMINIX service.On September 28, 2022, I encountered one of the service technicians, *******************,completing the *** General Pest Control Regular. I was surprised and told her that I canceled the service on September 14, 2022 and why is she here? She told me that her office never received the cancellation, but she will make sure that I am not getting a bill and I should not if I really canceled the service with Terminix.I received the same bill thereafter. Upset and disappointed, I called 1-800-TERMINIX again. I spoke to a lady named *****. I explained to her the situation. She said my account is not canceled, but she is willing to cancel the account for me. I guess my account was canceled again. Since then, I kept receiving the same Statement of Account in mail and email for the service conducted after the initial cancellation. What kind of company is this?Terminix

1 starNever again! Poorest customer service! I started service in July for their supposedly gold treatment with monthly payment of $99 with quarterly service. July went great but August I still had pest issues so I called customer service and was told they would have someone call me. Never got a call, same thing when I called in September. So October 19th at 12:09 I called to see if I could get someone to come out since no one was calling me back and I was I was frustrated. The representative informed me that my regular scheduled service was in 2 days October 21st . I explained was going to be out of state and I needed to reschedule as I did not want anyone coming while I was not present myself. Well, while in SC I get an email with summary for service completed on October 21st. At this point more than frustrated I called Monday 24th of October to cancel and nothing was done. I called again on the 26th and finally I thought it would be done. Well my service was cancelled finally on November 2nd and was charged $796.48 for cancellation. Unbelievable!Terminix

One of the the stipulations of your agreement was to keep the service for at least one year. Being that you requested to cancel service after 3 months, an early termination fee was applied. 1 starThey never showed up to do services and ended up threatening to send me to credit bureaus. They did end up sending me and affected the credit when they would NEVER show up nor cancel before. Horrible experience -10/10 recommend. Horrible customer service as well.Terminix

1 starTerrible business with lousy customer service.When there was an issue with a service, I have been told that the phone customer service is powerless to take any action and I have been promised call back from the branch multiple times, but never received one.Given the lack of response from Terminix, I refuse the pay the charge for the service and Terminix has now sent the payment now to a collection agency.Below are the details of the issue - 6/8 - ******* contacted me informing that he wanted to come in for service on 7/9. I informed that since I'm not available, I would like the service to be performed on 7/9 or anytime during the next week. Also informed that the service cannot be performed for 3 weeks after that.******* did not show up during the entire week.6/17 - I called customer service and informed that I do not want service for 3 weeks, since I was traveling out of country. Rep acknowledged and confirmed that there will be no service for 3 weeks.6/19 - ******* from Terminix contacted me informing that he'll be performing service on 7/21. I immediately informed him that no service should be performed while I am out for 3 weeks.6/21 - ******* informed me that the service was supposedly performed in spite of my instructions to the contrary.Upon my return to US early July, I called Terminix customer service and informed them of the circumstances. They promised me a call back from the local branch.I called a few times in July and I was promised call back multiple times, but never received a call back.In Aug, I disputed the credit card charge and got it reversed. In August, I also canceled the service over phone and was told that the charges will be reversed.In Sept, I spoke to someone named ********* who agreed with most of the background and my understanding was that she would be reversing the charges.On 11/21, I spoke to ******, who confirmed having record of my calls. I again requested a call back, which I have not yet received.Terminix

1 starMy experience has been horrendous in that the company ripped me off for $1000.00 in early November 2022. I had some kind of critter chewing up the inside of a kitchen drawer and so I I contacted Terminix. The free inspection fellow told me I needed an exclusion done which would keep mice out of my home. When the tech arrived he said he thought it was a rat rather than mice and put two sticky traps in the drawer. This critter has not returned as of now. He then told me after checking around my house that he couldnt do the exclusion be he couldnt get into my crawl space and anyway there were just too many spots that mice could get in. I have been try to get a refund or at least a partial refund for the whole month of November because I paid for a service that they couldnt provide. Today I got notice from the Branch Manager that no refund is due with no explanation . I dont know how to involve a regional manager but I am going to look into it. I was unable to use a charge card or debit so had to pay by check. I think they purposely reject the charge cards because they know you can dispute payment through them, I was willing to pay something since the man came here and attempted to do the job but what was done was nowhere near $1000 worth of work. This is just a money grabbing company and cares nothing for their customers.Terminix

1 starWorst pest control service I've ever dealt with. I paid $400 for squirrel removal and they put 3 traps in my attic on the wrong side of the house. After 9 days I still had squirrels running around my attic. I called to get a tech out here to see if they could actually take care of the squirrel problem and they said it would cost $400 more. This is ridiculous! The salesman that sold it to me told me they have a guarantee but apparently it's a lie. If I could give them a -5 stars I wouldTerminix

1 starBeware, we took on the Terminix contract when we bought our house over 15 years ago. Everything was great up until 2 years ago and now we are in the third year. We normally had inspections once a year. Then an "inspector" comes out un announced 6 months early. Then we get a parade, not being sarcastic, a parade of "inspectors" every month or so, supposedly doing the yearly inspection. Today, I told then lady who came, nope not having it, go away. I'm done. I stupidly let one into my home, he had no clue what he was doing. Was not in my home for more than 3 minutes. Did not even check the attics. I have had some show up to the door and swearing up and down they spoke to me. I have called the customer service line now 17 times, yes 17 I keep a tally, to change my number, still is not done because they are calling that number and scheduling the inspections. I do not know who they are talking to because when I call that number it is disconnected. When I call the customer service line, the reps are clueless why this keeps happening. I have resorted to taking pictures of the inspector vehicles, and now installed a security cameras all around my home. There is no reason for them to be out here except once a year, that is what we pay for. Calling customer service is futile. The person who responds on here with the automatied response, please provide an actual number, that we can call. By the robotic responses to our issue you are just making the issue worse. I literally am doing a ****** search to look for another company. Then tomorrow on my lunch break I will start calling around local companies to see if they would like to take on our bond contract. Something is going on, either an employee retention problem, a customer service nightmare, or you are trying to file for bankrupcy and are treating customers terribly so they can leave and you can write this off. Something so answer with an actual answer not an automated one.Terminix

1 starPaid $5000 for exclusion service and crawl space encapsulation. Since the initial work was completed on that service, Ive been ghosted. The service guy comes to spray every quarter (I think, I get a bill for it anyway) but we have called many multiple times over the past year or so due to still having mice and we keep getting the run around. Promises to get the message to someone who can help go broken, and the one time we did manage to get a guy out here he confirmed that we had a mouse problem and said that he hadnt come prepared to take care of that but that somebody would contact us about coming back. Never heard anything. Im definitely changing pest control services and am considering legal action for breach of contract.Terminix

1 starI have had the worst experience ever with this company.I have been trying to get issues resolved since May..They do not return calls.I have video and photos of the moisture in pieces not staked the day the left.Took 2 weeks to get a call.I have other issues but they have no answers.I have video and photos as well as conversations starting in May.I hope someone who can solve my issues works for them.I guess they just do not care about older folk like me. 1 starA nightmare--it really seems like a national scam business based on how many others below have had similar experiences to mine. A fast-talking guy sold me on a year contract for termites and exclusion. 10 months later I still have a bad mice problem. I have made 3 service appointments and the guy didn't show up. I've spoken to the regional and local offices. No accountability. I want to try to take this to small claims court. You're better off finding a local exterminator / contractor.Terminix
