1 starMy parents had Terminix service on the house for over 50 years. I remember when they used to show up and do service (20 years ago). Since then it's been gradually less. Now they just show up for the annual inspection without an appointment while no-one is home. Then they send an email with a picture of the house and a report that says "inspection complete - no problems found". Well I finally developed a problem - swarming termites in the house. It took a dozen calls and a lot of yelling at their customer service rep enough to get an actual technician to show up. They diagnosed termites and then disappeared. No treatment, no follow up. I'm making phone calls again and expecting no response. I guess I'll have to pay another company to complete the treatment that Terminix is contracted to do. I expect there will be a Terminix answer shortly saying how out of character this is with their values. But read the rest of the reviews and see if you believe it.Terminix

3 starsI have yearly service I pay 282 yearly and they only come annually to check termites ***** for activities, I talked to someone to schedule apt supposedly I was told june 11th between 5pm-7pm when no one showed I called and it was scheduled for 11th between ***** I know what I was told I changed my plans so I could be here and lady I talked tonight june 11th was very rude. Very expensive for only an annually visit, and the lady hung up on me Bad customer service,Terminix

1 starTerminix advertises "wildlife removal". As such, we contacted them to remove a family of opossums from our home crawl space. First of all, the Terminix representative arrived late after 8:00 pm. Second, he stated that Terminix did not remove any wildlife from the crawl space, and that we had to contact the city. Well... the city does not do that either. While he was there, the Terminix representative performed a thorough inspection of the outside of the house. Upon completion of the home inspection, he indicated that Terminix would be able to cover any openings leading to the crawl space, and any other openings throughout the house to prevent rodents or other smaller animals from going in to the attic. During our discussion on pricing, he stated that Terminix would need to do a soft check on my credit to qualify the purchase. I agreed to proceed if it was ONLY a soft check. Within minutes of him doing a supposed soft check, I received notification that a hard inquiry was performed. I was confused, but did not make a big deal as I would check at a later time. I did that and it was confirmed that Terminix did perform a hard inquiry on my credit and dropped my score 23 points. Pissed! I also specifically told the representative that I needed them to notify me 20 to 30 minutes before their arrival so that I supervise the work being performed. I never received any texts or phone calls, and so they arrived when i was not home. I took three tries for Terminix to complete the job because they are too lazy to go up on the roof to perform a thorough inspection, and to ensure that there are no visible openings. During this whole drama, the representative who gave me his cell phone would not respond until 2 to 3 days later. First and last time I deal with this company.Terminix

1 starIf I could give this company 0 stars I would!! My elderly parents called and set up an appointment for them to come out for a bat extermination. They came out on June 7th and assessed the problem and had my parents to sign a contract. Then, had my parents to pay them $800 while also promising them a phone call or return to the residence within 24 hours. They never showed up nor did they call back. My mother tried to give them a call on Monday, June 10th and the guy either changed his phone number or cut his phone off. Once my mother finally got a hold to someone, they again promised a follow up call within 24 hours. No one ever called back but they still were able to get $800 out of my parents!! How dare you guys take advantage of the elderly!! Its sickening and extremely unprofessional. If you couldnt do the job, you couldve just told them both and we couldve found another company.Terminix

1 starTerminix has not lived up to their contract. My house was fumigated May 10, 2024, I still have termites and my problem has worsened. I have contacted them several times to resolve the termite problem. They always respond back within 2-3 days , then schedule an appointment because they are too busy with other customers. I paid their down payment of $567.22 to continue paying $139.22 for the next 11 months. The contract total price $2,098.64. Terminix told me the insecticide would remove the termites immediately and this did not happen. The treatment seems to have provoked the termites to spread to other walls. I am a senior woman with health issues, sleeping with a swarm of termites which come out at night (like a snow blizzard). I cannot continue living with this torment causing me anxiety. I need to cancel this contract immediately to start over with a reputable company.Terminix

1 starThe inspector who came out to our house perpetrated a three-peat lied about 1) a termite problem, 2) possible length of treatment plans, and 3) payment plans. Mr. *************************** said that we had a termite problem [though he could not find any termites but only wood damage on an outside pergola that we pointed out], that the only solution was a one year plan for almost $2400 that had to be paid up front. I subsequently called Terminex and they indicated that 1) there were other plans available, and 2) it could be paid monthly. I have a witness to these bald face lies. On top of that, I invited other professionals out the next day who indicated that there was no termite activity at all: only the damage from a now inactive ********* ant colony. These knowledgeable professionals [Pest Arrest in ******] demonstrated that conclusion by showing similar markings in a nearby tree. Their conclusion: no termites, no active ********* ants, no charge. Even the regional Sales Supervisor from Terminix who called to apologizes knew immediately from the pictures that there were no termites.Avoid the scam artists and fraudulent "professionals" at Terminex. They should be put out of business for their shameful consumer rip off attempt to two senior citizens.Terminix

1 starTerminix does not complete work. When they make appointments to come out and do there service they never show up. I had three appointments set up with them they never called or nothing they just did not show up.Terminix

2 stars**************** is the worst. Phone calls are not returned and scheduling service calls is a nightmare. Extremely long holds on every call to the company. If you are in the market for termite protection, I suggest you look elsewhere. Billing is totally inconsistent from year to year. In short, this company sucks!Terminix

Tell you they cannot give you a management person, When your services is bundled they cannot see your complete account. My only question I wanted answered was my total amount due.
