1 starThis company is extremely unprofessional and has unacceptable behavior towards the customer. I had an appointment scheduled for a specific day and time window for an inspection and service to treat insect and other bugs. The inspector showed up extremely early and the service technician did not show up at all. I reached out to Terminix via the text message system and was told by ******** that, no service was scheduled for the day of my appointment that it was actually scheduled for another day that I didnt agree too. She said it wasnt in the system at all when I clearly have it in writing confirming my appointment date and time window. ******** was quick to let me know that if I cancel my service with Terminix I would owe over $1,300. Not agreeing with anything ******** said, I called Terminix and spoke with *********. She let me know that my appointment was in fact scheduled for the specific day and that she didnt know why ******** would say that it wasnt. The technician never showed up and did not notify me that he/she was not going to be able to make it. I requested a refund for this month and was told I could have a credit placed on my account. I was then told I couldnt have the credit for this month it would be for the next month. I was then told that a manager might reach out to me if my account could be credited. If they dont reach out then my account would not be credited. I was told by another representative, I didnt get his name that they can basically do whatever they want to customers because Im a new customer and if I cancel then I would have to pay over $1300. Which is completely unacceptable and unprofessional because being a new customer doesnt warrant mistreatment, bad customer service, and not sticking to the schedule thats agreed upon! I should in fact be able to get a refund and a credit to my account because of the bad business and unacceptable customer service and the way this ********************** handles business. 2 starsThe inspector showed up promptly to give me an estimate, but the scheduling department is horrible. It was an auto generated appointment with no time or technician. I left several messages for the scheduling manager and never got a call back. It took weeks just to be able to make a service appointment, which I ended up having to do through the inspector that came to my home. Finally got an appointment for 2:30pm. They showed up at 7:45am (good thing I was home) and I didnt receive the service I was quoted and billed for. I was told they spray, steam and vacuum the furniture and beds, but all they did was spray. I couldve done that myself. If I wouldve known that, I wouldve went with a different company for roughly the same price. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Youre going to lose a lot of business trying to save a buck with automated scheduling and nobody to talk to when theres a problem.Terminix

1 starWorst company. Inconsistent with appointments and policies. I have waited and still waiting for purchases fence for my shed. There is currently a dead rodent or animal in cage with the skull showing.it is decomposing in my yard. This is the proof the company does NOT check cages daily.Terminix

1 starI contacted them for a one time service. I was happy with the customer service. Next day, I received a messaged informing me they don't actually service my area only after a full 24 hours of making the appointment. I found this odd, as when I talked to them on the phone, they told me there was a deal for my area. I called to confirm this, and the woman I talked to was nice and confirmed the message saying that they don't service my area.Why allow me to schedule and set up an appointment if you don't even do my area? Along with the fact for emphasizing there's a special deal on top of it. It doesn't make sense or add up. It was extremely disheartening as I heard about their business from a fellow coworker who **** their praise and said they were good.Terminix

1 starTerminex and SMAC FINANCIAL ARE THE WORSE DONT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM . TERMINEX USED THIRD PARTY PEOPLE TO PUT THE TENT ALSO THE TENT HAVE HOLES ALL OVER MEANING THE *** IS NOT DOING THE *** IN THE HOUSE. ALSO THE TENT WAS REMOVED FROM MY HOME WITHIN 6 HOURS AND I SPOKE TO ONE OF THEIR TERMINEX PERSON (REPRESENTATIVE) AND HE SAID TO ME THAT IT SHOULD BE REMOVED WITH IN 24HRS AND THIS NEVER HAPPENED. SINCE DAY ONE I STILL HAVE TERMITES. THEY TOOK THE MONEY BUT DIDN'T DO THE *** CORRECTLY. THE *** SHOULD LOOK INTO THIS AND DO SOMETHING BECAUSE THIS IS STEALING MONEYTerminix

1 starI have tried to contact terminix over and over to solve this issue before I make a complaint I have been getting the runaround I was told I wouldnt get charged when I start my service back. They tried to charge me *********************************************************************************************************************** the price is gonna be $65 a month, then they tried to charge me $143 a month. I had a recording that it was $65 a month. They told me if I sent the recording in they would fix the problem. I have called them and I need my services and no one will get back in contact with me .This is the worst customer service ever. Ive been lied to several times and now theyre trying to make me pay for services that Im not receiving.theyre trying to make me pay for a price that wasnt told to me at first, so I just want to get out of the contract and go with someone else.Terminix

1 starI hired Terminix to service the interior and exterior of my gym, a separate structure from my home and exterior only of the home. You can imagine my shock and horror when I went into my gym and found ******* bugs! I called ****, the technician, and explained what I found. **** said, its summer, bugs will be bugs. He wouldnt be back in my area for 2 weeks. I mentioned that this never happened with my old exterminator- **** said, then you should call your old exterminator, which I ended up doing. **** must have reviewed my work order because on the order- services rendered- exterior of home and gym! He called back, I never answered. I found him rude, with poor customer service. I tried contacting a supervisor ( 7 times) to come out and look for themselves- you will never be able to contact anybody other then the call center who takes your message and forwards it to whomever! Nobody ever returned my call. Now, theyre threatening to report me to the credit bureau for the outstanding debt of *****. I have my paid invoice from my old exterminator company in the amount if $295.00, the cost to rectify Terminixs blunder.I hope you can help me. I have my paid invoice showing I needed to pay additional monies to rectify their blunder. If customer service was apologetic- ******* out to help me- I wouldnt be contacting you.Thank you- ******Terminix

1 starTermite problem..initial visit was a strung out installer .i had to walk with him around my property to lake sure he covered the entire perimeter..he was nervous and very anxious..could not focus.Year later Terminix contract says they come out and change termite baits..That was May..it July..no new baits..we keep calling and they keep lying to us about when someone will show up.In the meantime they were propmt with the 1 year billing to us..think Ill stop payment.Dont hire this Company..Southington CtTerminix

1 starI called this company on June 6, 2024 to have my trailer sprayed for roaches. They told me that it would be $153.25 to start but wouldn't pull out of my bank until after sprayed, lie..they pulled it out 2 hours before he got here. He spot sprayed. The roaches got worse. I called and they didn't even have me down for the spray in 2 weeks. I told them not to send the same guy because he didn't spray to my satisfaction and the bugs were worse. They said they wouldn't but they did. I had doctor *********** so I wasn't here my husband was. He told me the guy came into the kitchen, said we had mice and by policy, he couldn't spray. He gave him a stack of glue boards. He was here 8 minutes!! He also told my husband that he would just put a bin at the backdoor and toss everything in it to burn. I was extremely mad. I called them they told me that my "monthly" bill of ***** is due. I told them that is ever 2 months not ever month. So another lie. I finally told them that they have been here 2 times and there is no improvement at all so I'm going to another company. I called ****'s Pest Control. They came out same day I called AND sprayed 1 time and I haven't seen any bugs crawling around. If I see one, it's dead. One spray is all that they needed to do. Why couldn't Terminix do that? They want they money that's why not to do their jobs!Terminix
