1 starMy elderly mother needed her house sprayed and selected Terminex, she is on a meager fixed income so I agreed to pay for bill. The individual that came out did not explain that this was a recurring fee and locked her into a service agreement for a year! It cost over $1000 ($104 per month)! This is taking advantage of elderly people. Do NOT do business with ********! If you call to ask questions, they just put you on hold until you hang up....buyer bewareTerminix

1 starIn few words, Terminix is dishonest, shameful, deceitful, legalized pickpocketer who won't do the right thing. I found some mice droppings in few places inside of my home, I called them and they were very prompt. An agent showed up and said they can help and it would cost $1499.00 and ****** upfront and $66 month for a year. Since they have been in business for 95 years with a tons of good reviews, I decided to give them a shot because I don't want my family to be exposed to rodents and stuff. I waited about 4 weeks to call them back and asked them cancel the monthly payments which they did right away. THE REASON WHY I CANCELED THEIR SERVICE, the issue never stopped and in fact I SAW MORE MICE RUNNING AROUND for the first time. I was freaking out and got very upset. So I walked around the house, inside and outside to inspect what was done, I was flabbergasted. They probably spent less than $50 worth of materials to complete their service around the house and 4 0.99 cents glue traps inside. Therefore, I requested a refund and refused to deal with them anymore. I went around the house and fixed crack in the foundation and sealed every holes that I could find with stuff I bought from **********. I set up several traps and now I have caught almost all of them, one or two might still be inside of the walls because I can hear scratching sounds inside of the wall. I cut holes near that areas where the noise was coming from and set up traps there and caught one so far. No new dropping inside of the house so far in 1 week. They refused to give me a refund and sticking with their decision. I would understand if they want to deduct their time and $50 worth of materials from it, they should do the right thing and issue me a refund. They had me going around in circle, and playing the waiting game for emails with explanation of why they will not issue a refund, seriously. I paid for a service that to me was never rendered because the problem got worse and had to fix it myself.Terminix

1 starNever got billed on Aug 10 for monthly recurring charge. I Called Aug 13 and was told I have no bill due. I checked every couple days for 2 weeks and no invoice on my account?! Then sept ****** I get charged. Then...9 days later I get charged again!! No phone call, no explanation, no apology of why they are billing unfairly and charging customers who put faith in there ********************** who only enroll in autopay. This is a disgrace Terminix and now my account is in the negative because of unexpected charges. After I called to complain I was told someone at the branch in *********** pa would contact me within 24 hrs. It's been 38 hrs no call. This is not resolved Terminix and I will not stop here to find out why this is an acceptable practice. But I am mandated to stay on autopay or my contract will be cancelled. Do better for your customers ********************** I am taking my busniess elsewhere.Terminix

1 starAbsolutely disgusted in the negligence and pure unprofessionalism from this company. Requested service twice for an inspection for possible bats in my attic. Was told they could handle it. Not once but twice my inspector did not show up and could not be reached to come out. No resolution was met and I was never allowed to talk to a supervisor. Was told a supervisor could not be reached either.Terminix

1 starContracted Terminix for rodent exclusion and attic clean up .It was supposed to be ASAP and the inspector charged me over $2600 on 02/02/2024. So far after 7 months the problem hasnt been resolved.Terminix

1 starWe had an appointment for 9/3/2024 at 8 am. Nobody shows up. Finally at 9:30 we get a call saying he can't service us because he only does residential homes, not commercial ones. He says he'll have his guy who does commercial residence give us a call. That was a week ago, we haven't heard anything from Terminx since.Terminix

1 starService took forever to complete. I had to call many times to finish the service. Incredibly overpriced.
Then charged me for services not performed and not authorized. After calling and talking to people four times and being told the charges would be removed I just received yet another invoice they were taking me to collections. When I called the operator told me that it was in the record that I did not authorize the charge and it was to be removed. As of today it has not yet been cleared.
STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS POSSIBLE. Received a 1 star only because I cannot give it a 0 rating.Terminix

1 starSo I called around many pest control companies to get pricing for bed bugs. I ended up using them, not because they were the cheapest but because they had the best treatment plan to spray the whole house, put covers on all the mattresses and so on. They told me that with the covers on all of it they cannot live on the mattress or box spring. They did a no call no show like many other people have said in here. They did end up showing up the next day after the no show. They seemed to do a pretty good job the first time with a 1 year warranty so I thought I was good. I am willing to pay premium for premium work. Well a few months go by and my daughter slept in my bed one night and woke up with bites again. So I had them back out here. A girl technician came and was very unprofessional throwing blankets and mattress every where pitentially spreading them around the house. Said there werent any bed bugs even though I showed her pictures of both the bites and on close up picture of one. She said that she would still spray though. Well the first time it was all along baseboards, me the dogs and kid had to be out of the house for hours for it to dry. Now she said its its people and dog friendly and its clear which I thought was weird. But I had to go so I left and then got a text with the invoice 15 minutes later. Which this job took hours the first time. But once again I thought I was fine didnt see any bugs. And now 2 months later of convincing myself that they took care of it. My daughter slept with me again and she got bites again. I then took bed apart and checked and there are more bed bugs than I seen the whole time. These bugs have never been dealt with correctly and they have not gotten rid of the problem after spending almost $2000 dollars. I dont show bites on my skin by the way but my daughter does every time. Now Im trying to have them out again which it took me calling 3 days in a row to finally get on the schedule. They are now scheduling me 2 WEEKSTerminix

1 starContacted Terminix for bat exclusion. 7/27/2024 ******* inspector stated service could be provided, we wrote a check to cover the cost + 3 years renewal. ($3901.19) Check was deposited for a different amount ($3461.31). 7/31/2024 service technician arrived, stated he needed safety equipment to reach the steep roof to do the job. He was unable to reach his manager (he was in a meeting). The technician said he would spray some areas where ********* bees were building nests, then left. His report indicated a 5 minute service call. I contacted Terminix 4 times to schedule the return visit. 8/15/2024 told by a different technician the manager would not approve use of the safety equipment. 8/22/2024 received a call from Terminix, offered refund of $2300.00. I declined, stated I expect a full refund of $3461.31 since service was not provided. 8/29/2024 received a call from Terminix: total refund offered is $2500.00. I declined, asked for explanation of $961.31 charge for a 5-minute service call on 7/31/2024. 9/4/2024 received text message from Terminix: you are on my schedule for tomorrow (9/5/2024) between 8am-12pm for your bed bug treatment. I DID NOT SCHEDULE ANY BED BUG TREATMENTS.Terminix
