1 starWe had Terminix treat our home for termites. This service requires drilled holes in the sidewalks surrounding your house. They used the same holes as were used by a service 20 years ago. So the drilling was easy for them. Once they were finished we expected that they would fill the holes as professionally as the prior company had done. This was not the case. They left the holes globbed, smeared, and half filled with cement. It has compromised our sidewalks and is a real eye sore all the way around our house. We complained and Terminix sent a "Manager" to the site who simply said "this is how Terminix does it". I guess that says it all ! I would not recommend them.Terminix

1 starREAD THE REVIEWS AND CHECK WITH ATTORNEY GENERAL, BBB, AND FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION! If you do you will never do business with these jokers.Sales guy came out and lied and provided inaccurate information about the products! I have this all documented via video from the sales guy in my home and emails and texts and calls from sales ************************** and Sales Manager ********************************* and *************************! All this has been furnished to my attorney for law suit! Also sent to Attorney General, ************************* BBB, and a few other regulatory agencies. They have messed with the wrong person!Sales guy told me Terminix owns insulation company. They dont!Sales ***************** Let **** told me the insulation will kill anything it touches. Not true!Sales ************************** sold me premium insulation in attic but insulation company told me Terminix only told them to put lower end coverage in attic.IF I WOULDN'T HAVE LOOKED IN MY ATTIC AND QUESTION THE INSULATION COMPANY THAT PERFORMED THE INSTALL, I WOULD NOT HAVE KNOWN I DIDN'T GET WHAT I PAID FOR! Really makes you wonder how many other customers they have overcharged!!?????The Sales Managers are all commissioned off your contracts. They refused to even assist with all this fraud and deceit. 1 starWhew! Where to begin. This is my second bad experience with them since I started long ago and theyve never been a five-star anyway. They go to a one-star rating due to a $****-loss. I had a rat. The salesman came to explain an exclusion contract. I asked about the term for the agreement and it is listed in fine-print on page 5 of a 7- or 8-page contract that even customer service couldnt find and he never explained it was only THREE MONTHS! I knowread all eight billion words. Well, I called the same day as install and this man emailed terms of a 12-month renewal agreement. Of course a year comes up and he knows nothing about why he sent it after saying he would honor it. In speaking with him, he states he will gladly amend the contract since he confused the situation by emailing me this highlighted portion of another contract that he stated he would honor. Needless to say, he wont return calls or emails. No one will. They got away with my more than **** hard earned dollars and still have not been given an option for renewal since he wont honor the deal. Im sure they wont be able to find any phone calls since it shows them to be scam artists. But theyd find anything they wanted if a customer said something wrong on the phone. My insect tech is sweetheart. Even the guys who did the install for the exclusion were golden. But that company has thieves for salesmen. Which, I guess, technically, is their job. They know how to wheel, deal, and steal. In reading all of their generic responses even in all these reviews, they show themselves as phony hustlers. I wasnt even asking for a refund, but hes staying to get year-long contract with renewal (as implicated on their website) Id have to pay almost DOUBLE?! Their practices are shady at best. IF you choose to use them, dont get the extra services. Thats where they get you. Stick with only the basic bug control. And then watch them hack up THAT priceas theyve been doing.Terminix

1 starI cannot count the times Terminix had an appointment at my home and they did not show. Not only that but, when I call to find out why, I am told I had no appointment in the first place, in spite of their confirmation text. I have enough stress in my life; I don't need any more from Terminix's employee's behavior - I canceled my service two days ago, and I now completely understand why this business is not BBB accredited.The techs are nice, but I don't think they like their jobs very much.Terminix

1 star12/21/22 Horrible: 0* rating. Very awful loss of my *****! They increased the# of mice; after accepting an additional $5000 for ****************** (plugging up all holes & points of entry all around the outside & inside of a house), they lied about completing the job. I have asked for a full refund of $***** and Owner *********************** said, Sorry, we dont do that. Im going legal, perhaps Arbitration. I should win-have a lot of evidence.Terminix

1 starWe had a contract with TERMINX from ***************************************************************** to come to our house to check for bed bugs and remove them once and for all. We agreed with the terms of the contract and they came starting in December of 2021 to start the spraying. We were told that it would take six months to finish the job by which time all the bugs would be dead and removed. They came periodically and sprayed all the beds in five rooms and we were asked to wash and dry the bed sheets and blankets each and every time they did the spraying. We followed their instructions and did accordingly. Each time they sprayed, we found the bugs were not removed completely, but instead they multiplied in numbers. We informed them that there were still bugs in and on the beds, and they informed us that they would be killed on and before the six months period. The complained to the management of the situation and two managers came to look at the situation and promised that the problem would be taken care of, but actually it did not. Instead, they asked us to sign a new contract if we wanted them to solve the problem.We hired another company, D-bug to remedy the situation and it seems they are doing a good job so far. D-bug has one more spraying to do and we are waiting for the final results.We have still over a thousand dollars to pay and we believe we should not pay this money and we honestly want to get back the money we have already paid because they did not do what they promised they would. Frankly, they should be stopped from hurting other people. 1 starI hired terminix in April i had a mice and ant problem. Someone came out and reccomended a package to get rid of the mice and ants *** the specialist came out and laid traps. He also did follow up calls in this time he no call no showed 4 times and cost me money because everytime terminix comes to my house i have to take a day of work. I complained about that to **** boss **** who basically said things happen *** isna good tech its your fault you did not remind me more. I have text messages with **** and *** confirming when the would be at my house thr work they would do and nothing ever coming of it. **** and *** have continued to be rude/steal my money after paying in full they dont show up. Well *** doesnt show up **** says its my fault i didn't contact him more even though i have a call log and text log with them agreeing to help or ignoring me completely. I paid **** dollars up front have kids in a new house i could use that money for them. They scammed me because i still have the mice and bees. **** the manager told me its my fault i didnt contact him more. Please do not use these scammers i have to hire a new company due to there ineptitude, poor communication, not being reliable and this is only part of it trust me call smithereens or any other company but Terminix/***/**** are scam artists they dont care about customers.Terminix

1 starWhen beginning this service with Terminix I was told by the technician that I could cancel at anytime without any hassle or additional fees. Since starting the service I have had a horrible experience. Technicians not completing the extermination services correctly, seeing insects that have not normally been in my home and horrible customer service. I have been calling trying to have this service cancelled and they are now saying I have to pay a early termination fee which was not what I was told. Since trying to cancel I have had to call on 4 different occasions and they tell me that I have to wait ***** hrs for the branch manager or regional director to contact me. I have been calling since December 1st to no avail. The customer service is horrible and I would like to cancel this service YESTERDAY! This is so stressful and frustrating to me. I hope to hear from someone to get this taken care of.Terminix

1 starI would give Zero stars if possible. Paying over $100 a month. Not even a phone call, a check up call. The traps they laid none of them worked. I killed 27 mice on my own with a ***** and simple snap traps. So now Im stuck paying $111 a month for absolutely nothing. DONT USE TERMINIX. They are legal scammers. You charge me $111 a month for a couple traps? That dont even do anything.Terminix
