1 starTerminex couldn't get rid of cocaroachs in my 7 uit building for years! Don't use them. Then billed me after being with them for several years. They put me in collection. I paid under protest for credit so my credit wouldn't suffer. They charged extra with phony cocaroach drain service. Don't trust them.Terminix

1 starWe called them for a quote and they couldnt give us an estimated price so we agreed on a free inspection visit in a two hour window. No one showed up or called. We called the customer support, they called the inspector with no answer probably cause he was driving. An hour past the window no one has called or showed up. Its understandable to run late if a previous inspection took longer than expected, but it is completely unprofessional to not call the customer to inform if the inspector is running late or check if we want to reschedule instead.Terminix

1 starThis company is horrible, because of their billing. My 93 year-old mother is supposed to be on autopay with her credit card. She is nowhere near her credit limit; the balance is paid monthly; and she has no other outstanding debt. The company continues to charge a small portion of the entire bill to the card, then sends a paper bill for the rest. This thwarts my attempt to streamline care for my elderly parent. {I am sure other persons with elderly parents know how difficult, but important this is.) I have contacted (as my mother has) customer service numerous times. At one point, I was told that her credit card company was declining charges. I checked with the credit care company, they weren't. I asked the customer service to again bill the card and it again went through. All of the customer service agents I have spoken with have been unable to figure out what was causing the problem. I have been assured that their supervisor would return my call. They haven't. I have attempted to call the local Terminix office. Invariably, I am sent back to corporate. I have asked to speak to a manager at the call center, and they will not forward the call to one. My mother and I both can't make heads or tails of the billing that is occurring. At 62 years of age, a total of 24 years of education (post-doc), and an exemplary credit report, I can't seem to get this resolved. The company places insurmountable barriers to effective assistance. I inquired about cancelling the service, for cause, so that she can switch to a local pest control agent. They insist she will be charged for early cancellation, and that under no circumstance will that fee be waived. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE. THEY EXHIBIT POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ARE UNABLE OR UNWILLING TO SOLVE THE MOST RUDIMENTARY PROBLEMS IN THEIR BILLING DEPARTMENT. By the way, you might ask why not just pay it by check. Those of you who care for infirm, elderly patients will know the answer to this.Terminix

1 starReally wish I would have checked this before I got a $2,200 service on a rental property. They promised a service could be completed with a 2 year guaranty. Called me back and said they wouldnt honor the guaranty because they couldnt complete the service. They still charged me and I am yet to receive a copy of the contract. I have called their corporate office 4 times and was told the local office would call back, they have not in 14 days. Salesman was nothing more than a salesman, didnt know how to assess the *****************. I will not be returning to this company and recommend people find a local exterminator for their problems.Terminix

1 starAs far as the technicians they are great! Inspectors and customer service agents are HORRIBLE. This company charged me $5,000 for a maybe $1,000 job at the most. I tried numerous times to make my monthly payment and had nothing but problems such as they couldnt get the link to send or they couldnt find my account, etc. I have to call and get connected to 10 departments just to pay my bill! Not to mention I have a contract and they are supposed to be doing a monthly service but they choose the dates for you how convenient for me, huh? Oh and they only spray the outside of your house unless you call and request an inside service so what exactly am I paying for yard care? How do I know youre really spraying if Im away working? Half the time they say they serviced you and never even showed up! This company is nothing but a money racket, I suggest choosing someone that takes pride in their business!Terminix

1 starDishonest sales person. What they try to do is to sell you the service. Said the cancellation fee would be a small fee if I cancel. It turns out the cancellation fee is payment of yearly service. Also the service is sloppy. When applied pest spray they sprayed all our windows, so they needed to be washed again. I would not recommend them.Terminix

1 starI have had an awful experience with Terminix. They scheduled and confirmed two separate appointments with me (because they missed the first one) and didnt show up for EITHER ONE. Nobody apologized for confirming the appointments and never showing. *** asked to speak to management on multiple occasions and nobody has called me back. I took days off to stay at home to meet Terminix. Such poor and awful customer service. I will not be recommending this company to anyone.Terminix

1 star********, they tried charging me for work that was never completed, and took 3 weeks to close my account.I had them look at the house and give us a quote. After initially agreeing to have them do the work I canceled the next day(which was several days before they were supposed to do the work). When I canceled I made sure they logged it in the system.I got a call from a technician about a week later who said he was stopping by, I informed him that I canceled the order and not to come by.I called them to confirm my account was closed to which they said they had no record of me asking to close it.After several days I got a bill for work wich was never done. So I called them again and they transfered me around and logged in the system that I wanted the account closed and that no work was performed.I called back the next day and found out they did not put in to have my account closed. So I asked them to transfer me to the account department, they said they put in the request and that it would take 24 hours to prosses it and couldn't give me a reference number.I called back after 24 hours and found out the account was still open, I requested management to which I was told that they would leave my number for them to call.After another 24 hours I never got a call from management, so I called them back and finally confirmed my account is closedTerminix
