1 starA 0 would be better. I had a contract for 5 years and were supposed to fix it if they found anything. When we sold our home they found a problem. They said they wouldn't fix it for 3 months, so we had someone else fix it. I submitted the invoice and they still haven't paid. I would not recommend Terminix.Terminix

I was contacted by Terminix and asked for pictures of the damage, so they could pay the repairs. I sent the pictures and a copy of the bill. They notified the BBB, but never paid it. I am still waiting for the money!I can't believe that they still give it a "A" from the BBB. It seems to be because he responds. Just responding doesn't fix the problem.Review fromJane D.

1 starWould like to leave 0 starts. The free inspection was really a salesman who said anything he had to say to get me to pay that day. Ive been lied to, ignored, stood up and blown off by every point of contact with this company. So sad to take advantage of desperate people dealing with parasites. 1.) inspector told me they heat everything in the house up to 130 degrees they steam all your furniture, spray everything, total clean up you dont have to worry about anything ok that sounded to me like THEY HEAT THE WHOLE HOUSE UP. I didnt find out til after I paid and signed that they only us steamers on furniture. Thats the only heat they use. They came and used NO heat. Only sprayed. I told them I wanted a refund if they didnt have to use heat. That was the whole point of looking for service. They lied and said the steamer was broken after ignoring me for 2 weeks. The tech told me the steamer was pointless and thats why she doesnt use it. 2. Its been 3 months and Im still being bit !!! And Im being ignored by my technician and district supervisor when I say I have questions or want to schedule my follow up. Ive called customer support 3 times, made a complaint and they NEVER called me back !!! 3. At this point, I could of treated my house better and cheaper if I did it myself. This is what I get for impulsively trusting a big brand company ?? I found a bug and made the appointment within the hour. Too bad I didnt come to the bbb first. This isnt even everything Im just too mentally exhausted to write a well thought out paper ?? I just woke up to more bites despite following all their directions. I will now make sure EVERYONE KNOWS the service Terminix providesJane D.

1 starI set up a 6 month bed bug treatment with Terminix for my 90 year old mother - who lives alone (Terminix says it guarantees bug removal) -- had the servicemen come out a number of times since the bugs were noticeably still around - was given a hard time that they really should not be sending servicemen so many times and they implied that other people were bringing in the bugs. Do not make the blame that it was ** bringing it in or the hired help which we don't have. I had to even remove the recliner chair and 2 couches hoping to rid the infestation but clearly they were still in the house and the initial treatments never worked. One serviceman told me that the treatment they use is only 80% affective. I am completely disappointed in Terminix and will never use them again or recommend them. We spent alot of money for this 6 month service and I should have just bought regular spray at ******* which might do a better job.Review fromJay G

2 starsTermite service was good. First started off, the would call me to find out the best times for me, after awhile, they started telling me when they were coming out. Stayed with the service for about two years and decided to cancel because of monthly price. When I called to cancel, customer support accepted the cancellation saying my contract was satisfied. Then they told me my contract would be closed after they sent someone out to pull my bait stations, I said ok. This all started around the 3rd of January. I paid ***** for service I didn't get for ******** which was ok and maybe I didn't cancel in time. The bait stations were pulled Jan. 19. I called them to make sure contract was cancelled. Customer support said it was. Around Jan. 28, I go another bill for *****, which I didn't owe. **************** said, they said they would take care of it, they didn't. This went on for about three more calls, nothing happen. I finally called back and reached a rep. by the name of of ****************. He looked at the notes, found the problem, and corrected it and refunded my money. Very, very, hard to cancel the service, but easy to get started, bad business. If you want to use the draft method of payment, use a credit card. So if there's any problem, let your credit card company correct it. Other than that, **************** in customer support was very professional and courteous.Review fromMari C

1 starDo not use Terminex for your insulation project. They promise one thing and do something else. A two day project took two weeks. They do not provide quality work or service. I am still waiting on a response from them on why they use two types of insulation instead of the cellulose insulation according to the agreement.Terminix

1 starI have a complaint concerning my account. I had paid a two year contract in full due to my condition for my mortgage approval and Terminix turned it over to collections which gave me bad credit. I have called Terminix multiple times to resolve this, and have not received a call back. There was an issue with the baits surrounding my house that were not fixed per the contract as well.Terminix

1 starI have been a long standing custom of this company. Last October (2022) I noticed a large hornets nest on the backside of my home. I called their specialist team to come out and remove the nest ( all part of the service plan I pay for monthly). I have had 5 no shows. Each time I call I would make another appointment and ask to speak with a manager and I am told that an email would have to be generated and someone would give me a call back within 2 business days. I have yet to speak with a manager concerning this issue... I emailed the company to express my disappointment. They immediately sent someone out to my property. The technician told me he would come back the next day to spray the nest then come back the following day after to remove it. I canceled the appointment i scheduled with a competitor company since I am already paying for this service with Terminix. Needless to say that technician never came back out. I received a text explaining that he was on a bigger job and he could not make it that day only not to come back at all. To add insult yo injury, I received a text stating that it was time for my regular maintenance. They provided a window for which I can expect the tech to arrive. The next day I got the standard notification announcing they were in route. An hour later I go another notification claiming that the job was complete. I then received an email detailing all that was done on my property. All the while no one can to my home to actually conduct the service. I called the service tech directly but of course she did not pick up. This is theft. If I weren't home that day and/or if I didn't have cameras around my house this company would have gotten away with taking money from me without providing the agreed upon services.Review fromSteph H.

1 starWe hired Terminix when we heard squirrels in our attic. They were able to come out and we were sold a service where they would come out to address rodents for two years for approximately $2,000. Later visits and now they are telling us we need to replace the installation for about $12,000. For some reason this was not recommended during the first visit but since using them it is. We heard the squirrel again and when they came out nothing was done as they say all the installation needs to be removed so they can see where the squirrel is getting in. Also said we have a mouse infestation. We currently have a hole near roof with a squirrel trap attached as they want to catch a squirrel on the way out ( that was done in the first go around and since being placed there we have heard the squirrels back) Not sure how long that will sit there. It is noticeable as it is in the front of the house. Very disappointed in the service. Techs are friendly but I feel they are pressured to sell additional services versus solving the problemTerminix
