      Please do not use Terminix. Probably one of the most unethical companies I have ever dealt with. I happened to be home from work for my routine service apptment and I get an text stating the technician was on his way. Ten minutes later I get another text saying the service was completed. No it was not, he never came. The previous visit my two teens were home and I asked did he come, both were in there rooms so I was not sure. I left the side gate unlocked as requested. Most likely he didnt come that time either, being that our dog didnt bark as he typically does.They are horrible Ive reported this on numerous occasions. They keep billing me for a service I never received.

      We began a rodent exclusion service in September of 2022 that is still incomplete as of March 2023. Techs have made follow-up appointments with me, usually twice per week when things started, and I planned my work and life schedule around these visits. As the service continued, techs would tell me they'd complete the actual exclusion during the NEXT assessment a few days later. A pattern quickly and most unfortunately emerged that the techs would completely no-show for these scheduled appointments, forcing me to text a random tech who completed the last service or contact the call center who would provide me with appointment dates several weeks out. This is completely unacceptable when a. you, once again, for the 20th+ occurrence, forced your customer to wait well past the appointment window and wasted their time only to no-call, no-show, b. there is a FOUL smelling dead rat in your crawl space and c. you paid nearly $1k for this service! I have been told multiple times by the call center and by techs that the issue is that they simply get busy and customers fall through the cracks. Where is the accountability? I also glean from comments made to me by techs that Terminix does NOT want to complete the final step of sanitizing and removing the waste accumulated in this crawl space, despite the original surveyor of the issue threatening the urgency of this matter being the inhalation of rodent-related toxins. That was six months ago. Instead, I believe Terminix wants to upsell their insulation, which nearly all the techs have warned me was the only option if the activity did not cease. It HAS ceased. The only reason I have quit calling to make follow-up appointments is because I know very well by now that this exact same pattern will continue - and continue to inconvenience and annoy me - with no end in sight. Please make this right. I will be filing a BBB report regardless.

      ***** came out to give us a free estimate so we could compare Terminix to our current company. After the free inspection, we signed up with Terminix, and weve gotten the white glove treatment. They were thorough in their inspection, did preventive treatments around the home, and provided the work within 24 hours. Terminix in Temple, ** gets my highest recommendations. They are the only company Id work with.

      (consumers beware terminix/smac).....dishonest. thieves. liars. rip off. cons. unethical. the worst. i stupidly paid ****** for 3 small glue traps. they wouldn't take cash now i know why so they can rip off your bank account.. after all said and done i receive letter stating they will take ***** from my account for 18 months which i said no. your business is terminated. your done here do not come back to my property. they had audacity to return when i clearly said don't. they did take ***** and the bank returned my money especially that i cancelled terminix/smac.. bank suggested i close that account to avoid further stealing, so we did. we are seniors they trying to take advantage. they have been cancelled and terminated yet they still harass us. they threaten and harass seniors. we don't owe them money. we were already ripped off with glue traps. they got ****** for a couple glue traps. they ripped us off and won't leave us alone. the blogs against them are disgusting and despicable and so true. seems like they enjoy going after helpless seniors. mid 70's and mid 80's. i took them to be reputable i learned now they are not.

      Bought in to a new contract in 2022 due to buying a home and found ********* ants and active termites. 17 Traps were set, and monthly spraying started. Seems like the traps actively attracted more termite nest around my home creating a bigger issue. As I have found active terminate nest at the trap sites and on top of the traps! Called to cancel service was told I could not call to just cancel that I had to start the cancellation process 2-months before the annual contract ends. **** is hefty for service that attracts more termites and does not kill the bugs! Paying $138 per month for service I could do myself with chemicals from Lowes or HomeDepot at the fraction of the cost of what Im being charged! Also, not allowed to cancel monthly spraying per text received they state its mandatory and will only be rescheduled but never cancelled. Not pleased want full refund as its owed since their product does not eliminate termites or ********* ants just attracts more!

      Terminix is a company that continues to fall SHORT every time I have a claim. Ive been using this company for over ********************************** a heartbeat, but am vested, since other termite companies dont cover preexisting issues.On 12//31/22 Called to notify them that I found more termite damage and that the window they put back into the wall is cracking. On 1/9/23 Current ***************** agent arrive and did their inspection. I was told that I would receive a call to schedule the repairs. No call.On 2/15/23 Called to follow up on when my damage will be repaired. I also told them, that I found more termite damage, and how they wanted me to handle it. ( put on the claim that still isnt being addressed) or ( start a new claim) ? I was told that they will relay this to my branch. No call.2/22/23 Called to follow up on the current status of my claim. Was told that they will submit a Field Escalating Ticket to somebody, and will receive a call back within 24 to 48 hours. No call.2/27/23 Now 120 hours have past, and I called again. This time I was told that they would email my branch about my situation.Please help me get the service I have been paying for, never late, never missed a payment in twenty years. I was told by the last manager, that Terminix policy is that its my job to find the termites, then they will do the repairs. Thank you for the opportunity to voice my concerns about this company.

      The technician came out to my house and pretended like he rang the doorbell but didnt. He did not come inside and spray and he hardly sprayed around the outside. I called the ***** number and told them that he didnt even service the areas that we that we requested, so he came back ***** minutes later and pretended to ring the bell again. I saw him in on the camera and opened the door and he tried to hand them to me and I said arent you supposed to place them? He said, yeah I can I guess. He took an older sticky trap and he shouldve disposed of it, but he threw it in my driveway. Did not come inside and did not spray the garage and put one trap right next to the garage door. Literally threw there. Absolutely horrible service lazy technician. I should get a refund for the horrible job he did. Ill never use them again.

      Count me among those that would leave 0 stars if possible.- We contacted Terminix about an ****************** they were more than happy to take my payment when we signed up.- After trying a few weeks to get on the calendar, they finally came out and completed only 1/2 of what was agreed to.- We then attempted for 2 months to have them come back out to finish the job. No luck.- With no other options, we disputed the charge through our bank. - Disputing the charge did get their attention, and within 2 weeks we were on the schedule for them to complete the job.- However, what infuriates me, is that once our dispute went into effect and the account balance was reinstated, they turned the account over to bad debt collections.Imagine turning a customer's account over to collections when you never completed a service. How can a business operate this way?

      I was charged for a property I did not even own. When I called to cancel, the guy called me a jerk. Since I have seen from a review, that someone got charged by them after canceling, I do not believe these were mistakes. This business is very unethical and anyone should beware doing business with them.
