My husband and I have lived in our home for 5 years. It is a parsonage that is on the same property as our church. Delivery drivers must go into the parking lot and drive around to the house to drop off packages. For 5 years, there has only been a handful of times that the drivers made it to the house. Mind you, ********** and Amazon have no problems delivering to us. The house is visible from the highway and there are address numbers on the mailbox and in front of the house. We have spoken to multiple managers at the local FEDEX distribution center in *********, ** who have assured ** that they will resolve the issue. The managers there have even printed out ****** maps with written instructions on how to find the house and given them to the drivers (in NOVEMBER - see att'd). They continue to fail to deliver to our house. They either drop the packages off at the fellowship hall porch which we cannot see from the house, or claim they can't get into the "chained" parking lot and take the package back to the warehouse. The chain always has a gap large enough for vehicles. Today, they delivered to a completely different address across the highway. We called the local distribution center to tell them we did not receive the packages and were told, yet again, that they had to contact the contractor and ask him to contact the driver. We have now been told that the driver cannot be reached by the contractor for some reason. My husband and I are both disabled and need these packages delivered to our door. Nonetheless, I drove over to the house that the packages were delivered to (per the picture on the delivery notification), and the residents there said that the driver had come back hours prior to retrieve the packages and told them he was going to deliver them to our house (which is literally on the other side of the highway). We have yet to see the driver or our packages. One package contains a much needed CPAP machine for health reasons. This isn't acceptable! 5 YEARS!Business Response

FedEx now habitually fakes attempted deliveries. My last package had 4 fake attempted delivery scans before the driver finally decided to do his job and deliver it. Today I was home all day waiting for my package but the driver never came. He simply updated the delivery status to customer not available. Now my package has been rescheduled to be delivered on Sunday Feb 5. Will the driver really delivery my package tomorrow or he would fake attempts for another few days?Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and I accept their proposed resolution.After I received the specific package in this complaint, I found that the sender forgot to include my apt# in the address so it wasn't the driver's fault this time. I gave the driver a 5 stars rating on FEDEX website to make up for the complaint towards him. FedEx's ****** has called me twice, though I didn't have time to call back I appreciate their effort. I had another package sent to me via FEDEX recently and I redirected to a ********* 6 miles away from my home for pickup, the pickup experience was OK. I wish FEDEX had more pickup locations, I have a ********* and a FEDEX office within walking distance but they both don't offer pickup.

8 cartons were delivered by Federal Express to our warehouse at ************************************************************ and all were destroyed during delivery by the trucker. The vendor accepted a return for all 8 damaged units and re-sent another 8 units 1/27/22. delivery scheduled for delivery 2/2/23 and was still not delivered. The same trucker that destroyed the 1st shipment would not deliver and said the units were hazardous (labels show non-hazardous). This is a lie and the truck driver is not a chemist, he was mad being in trouble for destroying the 1st shipment of 8 units.tracking number: ************ + 7 more. My Invoice Number: *********** Invoice Date Dec 15, 2022, I received a commercial invoice for duty and taxes for $32.73 I contacted FedEX because I didnt understand this bill and along with never being explain to by the seller nor FedEX that I would be charged any extra upfront fees. In my emailing of the seller along with my invoice this was ever discuss. I have no paperwork from the seller nor FedEX letting me know that I would be charged this Duty and Tax fee. In fact, I have never heard of this tax until this event. I did contact FedEX and filed a complaint about this bill and they stated they would look into this, but never received feedback from them, just the bill.Whatever policy or agreement they may have, is only with the sender because the receiver is never aware of this. The receiver only has knowledge of the package and never the contract. In fact, they will not discuss in matters with the shipment because the contract is with the sender, and they will always reference you back to them. So, any fees that need to get paid should be between the two parties that are in contract with; so, I request that FedEX stop requesting payment from me.Lastly, they delivered my package to the wrong address and mailing the bill to the wrong address.Business Response

Any shipment that crosses an international border is subject to the assessment of Duty and Taxes as imposed by the destination country. In some instances, FedEx pays duties/taxes on international shipments on behalf of a customer to speed up the customs clearance process. The Duty/Tax invoice is usually a separate invoice sent to customers to recover any duties or taxes paid to the destination country by FedEx on behalf of the customer. Payment is due upon receipt, but as a gesture of goodwill, a one-time credit for $32.73 has been applied. Any future shipments will be eligible for the assessment of duty and taxes.

On January 31, 2023 I paid $62.02 for my package (a check that needed to be delivered by 5:00 February 3, 2022 for my rental house) to be delivered the next day by 10:30. I was never told they were experiencing weather delays at the hub facilities so I could take it to another carrier service. As of Friday night my package was still sitting in the original location even though their hubs were since open and running On February 2nd. Spoke to many employees one giggled at me and the other hung up on me. No resolution or call backs, texts or emails have been sent to me. Even though I requested it. My son had to literally fly to ******* ******** from ******* the afternoon of February 2nd and drove back to ******* so the rental agency could get the check in time. I requested a refund several time to be told no it was a weather issue and they were not responsible. For over 2 years now I have file claims and complaints with Fed Ex Customer Service due to the incompetency of the shipping department to correct the issue of ALWAYS labeling ************** ************. When an address comes from a company that has **************************************** on it, Fed Ex transfers the city to ************ instead of having their system calibrated to know the difference. I have had numerous packages delivered incorrectly and have had to file several claims concerning the incompetency of this delivery service. I even request to pay certain companies extra shipping cost to ship by any other means beside Fed Ex. Apparently the company does not care about the customer or they would find a way to provide better and more updated service.I have a small ********* online retail business We signed up for a FedEx business account to use for our shipping but since they are so inept in delivering to the correct address for me at home we opted to go with *** and **** even though the rates are higher. Honestly, making sure our packages go to the correct address vs. having to refund the customer and then file a claim against Fed Ex delivering incorrectly and waiting to receive our money just is not worth the little savings in shipping cost. The uploaded images show the original order information from LOWES. The second image shows the driver is completely inept when it comes to "providing proof of delivery" since he/she took a photo of the truck or van cab and actually submitted that for proof of delivery and the 3rd photo shows where the address was CHANGED to ************ instead of **************. Based on this delivery I have no faith that the others will be correctly delivered nor can I begin to even guess where this delivery end up.
