I have an ISA with Clasp for a school loan. The terms of the loan are that I owe 10% of my gross income every month unless I make less than the threshold required for repayment ($40,000) yearly. I submitted 2 W-2s to them for the calendar year of 2024 for them to calculate my repayment amount. When I received the results, Clasp claims I made 68,250 which is NOT what is reflected on the W2s I submitted. My total gross income for 2024 was $62,394.28. Additionally, I was laid off on 4/30/2025. This would mean my yearly salary for 2025 (January 1st-April 30th) would be roughly $21,000 which is $19,000 below the repayment threshold. I am currently unemployed but my loan was not placed in deferment as it should have been according to the loan terms. I submitted documentation that said I was employed until April 30th 2025, signed and dated. I also included a termination letter from my employer.

Neither the calculation for last years income is correct, nor is the calculation for what I owe next month. They also are not calculating my salary multiplied by the number of days employed for 2025. My loan should be deferred until I find employment again, according to THEIR loan terms. This is extremely shady and I've had no issues with this company before but for some reason all the math is suddenly wrong and I don't see how it's legal to miscalculate the repayment and attempt to hold me responsible to pay mathematically incorrect statements.

The call center said they would submit a ticket and they could see it was incorrect but this is seriously alarming for a company who is in charge of many loans. If it happened to me, it's happening to others who just don't notice the discrepancy and are being ripped off.

I signed the lease contract with 'SunPower Financing - SunPower Capital, LLC' online on 12/13/2022 with Lease Payment Term as 'SunPower Monthly Lease After ACH Discount: $89.08'. for Solar Panels Installation.

After calling at ***** ********, I got unexpected response from the SunStrong Customer Service that there will be a Sales Tax on monthly lease amount, no warranty, etc.

Sunpower was going through bankruptcy on or about October 2024. We were informed in November 2024, Sunstrong/Laughing LLC would be overseeing our lease on our solar panels. We could not obtain access to Sunstrong's system for payment. We attempted to pay via Sunpower's website. Payments were lost and late payments were reported to the credit bureaus. When we called to complain, Sunstrong resolved the issue by report more delinquencies. Sunstrong reported delinquencies in August 2024, prior to their acquisition of our lease.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: Launch LLC are engaging in unfair business practices. Their response is inaccurate.  We received notification in November 2024. Sunpower, the initial owner of our lease allegedly filled bankruptcy.  But, actual the partner Armstrong took over. Launch LLC states we transferred in August 2024. Launch recorded a late for August 2024. By, their own records, thet reversed late fees because payments were lost. Sunpower has breached their contract by not providing maintenacing for the solor panel. I would like for Sunstrong/Launch LLC to come and remove the panels.

      Sincerely,

I am seeking removal of late payment notations (March 2024, September, November, and December 2023) from my Launch Servicing personal loan, which is now fully paid off. The late marks occurred during a period of personal hardship, but I have since completed the repayment in full and made consistent efforts to restore my credit. Despite multiple requests for a goodwill adjustment, Launch Servicing has refused. I believe this is unnecessarily punitive, especially since the account is closed and no longer poses a credit risk. I’m asking for these marks to be removed out of fairness and consistency with industry standards on goodwill removals.

I am writing because there is poor communication with Launch Servicing and lack of regard for borrowers. I have submitted numerous requests to Launch Servicing and spoke to a number of employees for over a month now and my request has yet to be fulfilled or even looked into per the last representative I spoke with today 04/17 @ 230pm. My loan in its entirety should be forgiven due to the fact that The U.S. Department of Education (ED) announced that borrowers who enrolled at The Art Institutes between Jan. 1, 2004, and Oct. 16, 2017, were affected by The Art Insitute. ED’s findings that The Art Institutes made widespread and pervasive substantial misrepresentations that borrowers relied on to their detriment. As discussed in more detail in the executive summary, The Art Institutes’ misrepresentations related to graduate employment rates, graduate salaries, the school’s ability to connect students to employers, and the provision of ongoing career services after graduation.

ED’s findings are based on its independent review of evidence from the attorneys general offices of Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Iowa, and of other evidence in ED’s possession.

All of this information can be found on The US Department of Education wesbite.

      Thank You

The federal student loan forgiveness announced on May 1, 2024, for borrowers who attended The Art Institutes does not apply to private student loans, including this account serviced by Launch Servicing. Additionally, we have reviewed your request for forbearance. At this time, we are unable to approve the request, as you have reached the maximum allowable hardship forbearance time.

I’ve made payments for almost 2 years and none of the payments ive made have gone to the principal balance. Was promised that I would receive tax credits that would help me pay off the loan, I haven’t received. I was also promised that there would be credit to light bill depending on usage. I have not received anything that I was told I was going to get. Every time I’ve called to ask why hasn’t the balance changed because I made my payments the customer service representative would hang up.

This is a serious case of identity theft involving an account fraudulently opened in my name and my SSN. Despite my attempts to dispute this matter with the credit bureaus, SUNPOWER and SUNSTRONG have wrongfully denied my request. The account is not under my name and I don’t live in California, but they allowed fraud to use my social security number to open account. The fraud address is ***** ******** ****** ***. Diamond bar. Ca 91765.

I contacted SUNPOWER / SUNSTRONG company and the police department in 2018 about identity theft. their agent, who opened this account with ****** ** *** ****** ***, sent me a form asking me to sign and promised to remove my name and information from their account. I legally changed my name and SSN because of this. SUNPOWER / SUNSTRONG company denied my request to remove my information from their contract with the credit report bureau. I don't live in California since 2018.

This issue has placed both my minor son and me in serious life danger. I have both criminal and family restraining orders against my ex-husband, ****** ***, who used my identity to fraudulently open an account with their company. Additionally, he stole my Bank of America credit card, which has since been returned to me by the bank. Given the gravity of this situation, I expect immediate cooperation in resolving this matter.

      My request is:
      1. Immediately close the fraudulent account.

      2. Remove any negative marks from my credit report.
